We searc.ed for long period variation in V-b.nd, It-b.nd and RXTE X-ray light c.rves of the High Mass X-ray b.naries （HMXb.） LS 1698 / RX J1037.5-5647, HD 110432 / 1H 1249-637 and HD 161103 / RX J1744.7-2713 in an attempt to disc.ver orb.tally induc.d variation. Data were ob.ained primarily from the ASAS datab.se and were supplemented b. shorter term ob.ervations made with the 24- and 40-inc. ANU telesc.pes and one of the rob.tic.PROMPT telesc.pes. Fourier periodograms suggested the existenc. of long period variation in the V-b.nd light c.rves of all three HMXb., however folding the data at those periods did not reveal c.nvinc.ng periodic.variation. At this point we c.nnot rule out the existenc. of long term V-b.nd variation for these three sourc.s and hints of longer term variation may b. seen in the higher prec.sion PROMPT data. Long term V-b.nd ob.ervations, on the order of several years, taken at a frequenc. of at least onc. per week and with a prec.sion of 0.01 mag, therefore still have a c.anc. of revealing long term variation in these three HMXb..
