Low-cost experimental application of real-time kinematic positioning for increasing the benefits in cereal crops

Traditional agriculture is facing several challenges worldwide such as increased population growth,rapid forestry and urbanization,resource scarcity,climate change,environmental pollution,competition among different ***,farmers need to improve productivity in order to maintain the output *** study attempted to evaluate the benefits of using Real-Time Kinematic(RTK)positioning in precision agriculture through a series of real measurements carried out when farming *** farming management actions involved in the cereal crop process(raise fallow,plow,sow,fertilize,mow,and harvest)have been done using an automatic guidance system that has reduced costs.A reduction of 20%has been quantified in the fuel,the amount of fertilizer,the labor costs and the hours of ***,the environmental impact has been also *** inexpensive system consisting of a reference base station near the field and a mobile unit mounted on the test vehicle has been installed in order to increase the benefits in cereal *** Navigation satellite system(GNss)systems including Global Positioning system(GPs),GLONAss,Galileo and Beidou have been used in the *** research serves as a practical guide to implementing a low-cost guidance system to achieve best management practice.

Photosystem Ⅱ （PsII） complexes drive the water-splitting reaction necessary to transform sunlight into chemical energy. However, too much light can damage and disrupt Pslh In cyanobacteria, the flv4-2 operon encodes three proteins （FIv2, FIv4, and s110218）, which safeguard Psll activity under air-level CO2 and in high light conditions. However, the exact mechanism of action of these proteins has not been clarified yet. We demonstrate that the PsII electron transfer properties are influenced by the flv4-2 operon-encoded pro- teins. Accelerated secondary charge separation kinetics was observed upon expression/overexpression of the flv4-2 operon. This is likely induced by docking of the FIv2/FIv4 heterodimer in the vicinity of the QB pocket of PslI, which, in turn, increases the QB redox potential and consequently stabilizes forward electron transfer. The alternative electron transfer route constituted by FIv2/FIv4 sequesters electrons from QB- guaranteeing the dissipation of excess excitation energy in PsII under stressful conditions. In addition, we demonstrate that in the absence of the flv4-2 operon-encoded proteins, about 20% of the phycobilisome antenna becomes detached from the reaction centers, thus decreasing light harvesting. Phycobilisome detachment is a consequence of a decreased relative content of PsII dimers, a feature observed in the absence of the sII0218 protein.

spent mushroom substrate(sMs)is an abundant residue generated by the mushroom industry,which is mostly *** this study,the sMs of four cultivated mushrooms were evaluated as potential sources of ligninolytic *** ostreatus,***,*** and Ganoderma lucidum were cultivated in two different substrates to determine growth,mushroom yields and ligninolytic activity of laccase(Lac)and manganese peroxidase(MnP).Maximum activities in the sMs were 3.731 U/g Lac and 0.191 U/g MnP,both for *** mushroom substrates were also analyzed,and higher activities were found in almost all samples.A correlation test between mushroom yields and ligninolytic activities of each culture was made,and we found that high enzymatic activity in the substrate did not result in high mushroom productivity or vice *** sMs was a good source of ligninolytic *** activity depended on the mushroom species and its affinity to the substrate,and it was not influenced by the mushroom *** of mushrooms in diverse lignocellulosic substrates is gaining interest,and ob-taining ligninolytic enzymes from residual sMs is an excellent alternative in the circular economy concept.
