This study introduces the Orbit Weighting scheme(OWs),a novel approach aimed at enhancing the precision and efficiency of Vector space information retrieval(IR)models,which have traditionally relied on weighting schemes like tf-idf and *** conventional methods often struggle with accurately capturing document relevance,leading to inefficiencies in both retrieval performance and index size *** proposes a dynamic weighting mechanism that evaluates the significance of terms based on their orbital position within the vector space,emphasizing term relationships and distribution patterns overlooked by existing *** research focuses on evaluating OWs’s impact on model accuracy using Information Retrieval metrics like Recall,Precision,InterpolatedAverage Precision(IAP),andMeanAverage Precision(MAP).Additionally,we assessOWs’s effectiveness in reducing the inverted index size,crucial for model *** compare OWs-based retrieval models against others using different schemes,including tf-idf variations and *** reveal OWs’s superiority,achieving a 54%Recall and 81%MAP,and a notable 38%reduction in the inverted index *** highlights OWs’s potential in optimizing retrieval processes and underscores the need for further research in this underrepresented area to fully leverage OWs’s capabilities in information retrieval methodologies.

Experiences of Practical Nurses in Promoting the Rehabilitation of the Elderly and Their Education - A secondary Publication

The significance of rehabilitation-promoting nursing care is emphasized in aging Finland. According to studies, rehabilitation-promoting nursing care enhances the functional capacity of the elderly. The Elderly services Act obliges municipalities to create a plan to support the elderly population, emphasizing home care and rehabilitation measures. A large portion of graduated practical nurses will be working with the elderly, so the education of practical nurses must meet the needs of the workforce. The study aimed to produce new information on the implementation of rehabilitation- promoting nursing care in the elderly service system and on the education of rehabilitation-promoting nursing care for the elderly in vocational institutions. The research data was collected in the autumn of 2020 through individual thematic interviews with practical nurse students (n = 8). The data was analyzed using inductive content analysis. Practical nurse students’ experiences of rehabilitation-promoting nursing care for the elderly were related to nurses’ time management, organizational practices, nursing competence, nurses’ attitudes, nurses’ practices, organizational development, implementation and development of practical education, factors affecting the use of aids, and technological aspects of aids in the future. In conclusion, it can be stated that the content of education and practical work life do not align. It is essential to increase competence in rehabilitation-promoting nursing care and to develop organizational practices.

AIM:To provide a comprehensive and more representative national data on the disease,especially on treatment options and outcomes,and to determine access of retinoblastoma patients from Luzon,Visayas and Mindanao to eye care,and determine if access is associated with delay in consultation,staging and ***:Cohort study of retinoblastoma patients seen in eleven institutions located in the three major areas of the Philippines namely Luzon,Vizayas and Mindanao from ***:Totally 636 patients,involving 821 eyes,were ***(57%)were from Luzon and were seen in institutions in Luzon(72%).Annually,58±10 new cases were seen with 71%having unilateral *** delay of consultation remained long at 9(3,17)mo,longest in patients with unilateral disease(Pse from the Visayas(Psed on the International Retinoblastoma staging system,only 35%of patients had stage 1 while 47%already had extraocular *** was the most common treatment received by 484 patients while intravenous chemotherapy was received by *** were 250(39%)patients alive,195(31%)dead,85(13%)abandoned,17(3%)refused and 89(14%)with no ***:This study presents the largest cohort of retinoblastoma patients in the Philippines in terms of patients’and participating institutions’number and geographical location and type of institution(private and public).It also presents more comprehensive data on the treatments used and outcomes(survival,globe salvage,and vision retention rates).Delay in consultation was still long among patients leading to advanced disease stage and lower survival *** increasing capacity to diagnose and manage retinoblastoma in the country,the delay of consultation remains long primarily due to accessibility issues to eye care institutions especially in the Visayas and financial *** delay was still significant that overall survival rate remain low.

食品中完全无毒素的理念往往更接近于一种理想化的幻想而非现实。为辨别并优先处理长期摄入食品累积的有害物质,特别是天然毒素带来的健康风险,我们开展了一项针对性研究。通过审查100多项主要由欧洲食品安全局(EFsA)开展的欧洲层面的风险评估研究来评估食品供应的安全性。深入探讨了欧洲消费者长期接触的食品中潜在天然毒素对健康的影响,以及关于特定毒素的研究发现。此外,尝试对长期接触与公众健康有关的食品化学污染物所构成的风险进行排名。黄曲霉毒素被列为食品中第三大重要的化学污染物,因其具有很强的致癌能力,会导致人类患肝癌,加之欧洲谷物类食品消费量高,导致了高风险。虽然吡啶碱类物质具有基因毒性和致癌性,但由于人类接触这类植物毒素的来源有限——例如通过茶、蜂蜜或草药,它们在榜单中仅排第五。

Modeling and simulation of an Organic Photovoltaic Cell: ITO/MoO3/CARAPA/PCBM/Alq3/Al with sCAPs

Renewable energies are of major interest due to their inexhaustible and clean nature, with minimal impact on the environment. Numerous technological pathways exist in this field, each distinguished by the materials used and their implementation principles. However, the cost-efficiency ratio remains a significant challenge for researchers. Currently, organic materials are gaining popularity due to their relatively low cost. However, their performance, particularly in terms of conversion efficiency, still requires improvements. This study focuses on optimizing the organic photovoltaic cell ITO/MoO3/CARAPA/PCBM/Alq3/Al using sCAPs. several parameters were considered, such as layer thickness, recombination center density, and doping, to improve the cell’s performance. The optimal parameters obtained include an efficiency of 3%, a fill factor of 81.67%, an open-circuit voltage of 1610 mV, and a short-circuit current of 2.28 mA/cm2. The study also revealed that doping the phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) layer has a significant impact on efficiency and short-circuit current, improving these parameters up to a certain point before causing degradation due to increased recombination. Furthermore, high doping of the tri (8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminum (Alq3) layer improves performance up to a critical threshold, after which degradation is also observed. In contrast, doping the molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) layer does not have a notable impact on cell performance. Regarding the thickness of the active Carapaprocera (CARAPA) and PCBM layers, non-optimal values lead to a decrease in performance. similarly, an optimal thickness of the Alq3 layer significantly improves efficiency. These results highlight the importance of parameter optimization to maximize the efficiency of organic solar cells.

High performance novel flexible perovskite solar cell based on a low-cost-processed ZnO:Co electron transport layer

In this work,high quality uniform and dense nanostructured cobalt-doped zinc oxide(ZnO:Co)films were used as electron-transport layers in CH3NH3Pbl3-based planar heterojunction perovskite solar cells(PsCs)on a flexible conductive *** photo catalytically active ZnO:Co films were prepared by a low cost hydrothermal process using the aqueous solution of zinc nitrate hexahydrate,hexamethylenete-tramine and cobalt(II)nitrate ***:Co films were deposited on indium tin oxide(ITO)covered polyethylene terephthalate(PET)flexible *** growth was controlled by maintaining the autoclave temperature at 150℃for 4 *** CH3NH3Pbl3 layer was deposited on the ZnO:Co films by spin ***-OMeTAD was employed as a hole-transporting *** structural,morphology and optical properties of the grown ZnO nanostructures were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),field-emission scanning electron microcopy(FEsEM),energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry(EDX),ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)and photoelectrochemical *** spectra showed that both ZnO and ZnO:Co nanorods had a hexagonal wurtzite structure with a strong preferred orientation along the(002)*** surface morphology of films was studied by FEsEM and showed that both the pure and Co-doped ZnO films had hexagonal shaped *** the steady state,the ZnO electrode gave a photocurrent density of about 1.5 mA/***,the Co-doped ZnO electrode showed a photocurrent density of about 6 mA/cm^2,which is 4-fold higher than that of the ZnO *** on the above synthesized Co-doped ZnO films,the photovoltaic performance of PsCs was *** Co-doped ZnO layers had a significant impact on the photovoltaic conversion efficiency(PCE)of the *** latter was attributed to an efficient charge separation and transport due to the better coverage of perovskite on the nanostructured Co-doped ZnO *** a result,the measured PCE under standard solar conditions(A M 1.5G,100 mW/cm^2)r

Background:Mitochondrial dysfunction plays a prominent role in the pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease(PD),and several genes linked to familial PD,including PINK1(encoding PTEN-induced putative kinase 1[PINK1])and PARK2(encoding the E3 ubiquitin ligase Parkin),are directly involved in processes such as mitophagy that maintain mitochondrial *** dominant p.D620N variant of vacuolar protein sorting 35 ortholog(VPs35)gene is also associated with familial PD but has not been functionally connected to PINK1 and ***:To better mimic and study the patient situation,we used CRIsPR-Cas9 to generate heterozygous human sH-sY5Y cells carrying the PD-associated D620N variant of *** cells were treated with a protonophore carbonyl cyanide m-chlorophenylhydrazone(CCCP)to induce the PINK1/Parkin-mediated mitophagy,which was assessed using biochemical and microscopy ***:Mitochondria in the VPs35-D620N cells exhibited reduced mitochondrial membrane potential and appeared to already be damaged at steady *** a result,the mitochondria of these cells were desensitized to the CCCPinduced collapse in mitochondrial potential,as they displayed altered fragmentation and were unable to accumulate PINK1 at their surface upon this ***,Parkin recruitment to the cell surface was inhibited and initiation of the PINK1/Parkin-dependent mitophagy was ***:Our findings extend the pool of evidence that the p.D620N mutation of VPs35 causes mitochondrial dysfunction and suggest a converging pathogenic mechanism among VPs35,PINK1 and Parkin in PD.

Faecal incontinence(FI)is a debilitating common end result of several diseases affecting the quality of life and leading to patient disability,morbidity,and increased societal *** the various causes of FI,it is important to assess and identify the underlying *** investigatory tools are available including high-resolution anorectal manometry,transrectal ultrasound,magnetic resonance imaging,and *** review article provides an overview on the causes and pathophysiology of FI and the author’s perspective of the stepwise investigation of patients with FI based on the available ***,high-resolution anorectal manometry should be the first investigatory tool for FI,followed by either transrectal ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging for anal internal sphincter and external anal sphincter injury,respectively.
