Long-period Double-lined Eclipsing Binaries:The System V454 Aur with the Secondary Eclipse Caused by the Occultation of the Hotter Component

We present the results of our study of the long-period eclipsing binary star V454 *** results are based on spectroscopic data obtained with the UFESéchelle spectrograph and photometric observations from Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite （TESS）.The derived radial velocity curve is based on 17 spectra obtained between 2021and 2023,covering all orbital phases of this binary *** orbital period determined from TESS data,P=27.019803±0.000003 days,agrees within uncertainties with the period established in previous *** model constructed for the TESS photometric light curve achieves a precision of 0.01%.The effective temperatures of both components,as well as the system metallicity,were directly derived from the spectra and are Teff,A=6250±50 K,Teff,B=5855±50 K,and[Fe/H]=-0.10±0.08,*** analysis of the photometric and spectroscopic data allowed us to directly compute the luminosities of the components,LA=1.82 L☉and LB=1.07 L☉,their radii,RA=1.15 R☉and RB=1.00 R☉,and their masses,MA=1.137 M☉and MB=1.023 M☉,with uncertainties below 1%.Comparison with evolutionary tracks indicates that the system’s age is 1.18±0.10 Gyr,and both components are still on the main *** V454 Aur system is particularly interesting due to the partial eclipse of the primary component,which results in the“inversion”of the primary and secondary minima in the photometric light curve.

Value Function Mechanism in WSNs-Based Mango Plantation Monitoring System

Mango fruit is one of the main fruit commodities that contributes to Taiwan’s *** implementation of technology is an alternative to increasing the quality and quantity of mango plantation product *** this study,a Wireless Sensor Networks(“WSNs”)-based intelligent mango plantation monitoring system will be developed that implements deep reinforcement learning(DRL)technology in carrying out prediction tasks based on three classifications:“optimal,”“sub-optimal,”or“not-optimal”conditions based on three parameters including humidity,temperature,and soil *** key idea is how to provide a precise decision-making mechanism in the real-time monitoring system.A value function-based will be employed to perform DRL model called deep Q-network(DQN)which contributes in optimizing the future reward and performing the precise decision recommendation to the agent and system *** WSNs experiment result indicates the system’s accuracy by capturing the real-time environment parameters is 98.39%.Meanwhile,the results of comparative accuracy model experiments of the proposed DQN,individual Q-learning,uniform coverage(UC),and NaÏe Bayes classifier(NBC)are 97.60%,95.30%,96.50%,and 92.30%,*** the results of the comparative experiment,it can be seen that the proposed DQN used in the study has themost optimal *** with 22 test scenarios for“optimal,”“sub-optimal,”and“not-optimal”conditions was carried out to ensure the system runs well in the real-world *** accuracy percentage which is generated from the real-world data reaches 95.45%.Fromthe resultsof the cost analysis,the systemcanprovide a low-cost systemcomparedtothe conventional system.

Recovery of injured fornical crura following neurosurgical operation of a brain tumor: a case report

The fornix, which is involved in transfer of episodic memory, is an important structure of the Papez circuit between the medial diencephalon and the medial temporal lobe. Many studies using DTI have reported on injury of the fornix in patients with brain injury （Nakayama et al., 2006; Sugiyama et al., 2007; Wang et al., 2008; Chang et al., 2010）. However, only a few studies on recov- ery of an injured fornix in patients with brain injury, including traumatic brain injury and stroke, have been reported （yeo et al., 2011; yeo and Jang, 2013a, b）. In this study, using follow up DTT images, we reported on a patient who showed recovery of injured fornical crura following a neurosurgical operation for a brain tumor.

挑食是儿童营养不均衡的关键因素,应在儿童早期予以干预。挑食不仅受到社会、环境等外部因素影响,还和认知有关。挑食概念的三大要点是膳食结构缺乏多样性、对陌生食物排斥以及产生负面影响。儿童挑食行为的发展随年龄的增长先上升后下降。研究发现,儿童的感官特征、对食物的心理表征以及对奖惩的敏感度都和其挑食倾向密切相关。未来研究可以关注听觉、多感官通道的整合、信息加工偏向对儿童挑食行为的影响。此外,针对儿童挑食问题,可以设计基于感官特征的干预方式,还应考虑到感觉敏感性和奖惩敏感性等认知因素对干预方式选择的影响,并通过认知训练改善儿童对食物信息的注意和解释偏向。

In-Depth Study of Potential-Based Routing and New Exploration of Its Scheduling Integration

Industrial wireless mesh networks(WMNs)have been widely deployed in various industrial sectors,providing services such as manufacturing process monitoring,equipment control,and sensor data collection.A notable characteristic of industrial WMNs is their distinct traffic pattern,where the majority of traffic flows originate from mesh nodes and are directed towards mesh *** this context,this paper adopts and revisits a routing algorithm known as ALFA(autonomous load-balancing field-based anycast routing),tailored specifically for anycast(one-to-one-of-many)networking in WMNs,where traffic flows can be served through any one of multiple *** essence,the scheme is a hybrid-type routing strategy that leverages the advantages of both back-pressure routing and geographic ***,its novelty lies in being developed by drawing inspiration from another field,specifically from the movement of charges in an electrostatic potential *** on the previous work,this paper explores further in-depth discussions that were not previously described,including a detailed description of the analogy between an electrostatic system and a WMN system based on precise mapping perspectives derived from intensive analysis,as well as discussions on anycast,numerical methods employed in devising the ALFA scheme,its characteristics,and *** is worth noting that this paper addresses these previously unexplored aspects,representing significant contributions compared to previous *** a completely new exploration,a new scheduling strategy is proposed that is compatible with the routing approach by utilizing the potential-based metric not only in routing but also in *** assigns higher medium access priority to links with a larger potential *** simulation results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed potential-based joint routing and scheduling scheme across various aspects within industrial WMN scenarios.

Photoacoustic imaging(PAI) is an emerging technology that has been dramatically developed in the last decade. PAI, a combination of optical illumination and ultrasound detection, allows us to achieve fine resolution and obtain fruitful information of endogenous and exogenous chromophores. Among PAI imaging techniques, photoacoustic computed tomography(PACT)has been extensively used in human studies due to its deep tissue penetration(several centimeters). Alternatively, photoacoustic microscopy(PAM) offers higher resolution at the expense of penetration depth, which can also be advantageous in ***, there has been increasing attention and studies on PAM of human tissues. In this paper, we will review principles of PAM and its applications to human tissues, including the breast tissue, carotid atheroma tissue, eye, gastrointestinal tissue,ovarian tissue and tooth ex vivo as well as the oral cavity and dermatological tissue in vivo. The paper is closed with the outlook regarding the potential applications of PAM in clinics.

Investigations for the Surface of the Oxide Semiconductor Changes by Reduction

Oxide semiconductor SrTiO3 single crystals are exposed to a reducing atmosphere H2/N2 to induce the reduction of Ti4＋ to Ti3＋ and the release of oxygen from the lattice compensating the reduction of the Ti ions. In a reducing atmosphere H2/N2 the optical edge brings about a red shift. The infrared reflection spectra suggest that the （11） STO single crystal surface can be terminated by the domain of the SrO or TiO2 alternative layer during the reduction. The anisotropy and asymmetry of optical second-harmonic intensity explain a slight shrinkage. The dielectric constant reaches about 6000 and shows almost frequency dependence at all temperatures. With the increasing temperature, the dielectric constant increases rapidly. The high temperature region and low temperature region have activation energies of 0.89 and 1.04, respectively.
