Chronic hepatitis.B (CHB) dis.roportionately affects.minority groups.in the Us. particularly As.an Americans. with numerous.factors.contributing to this.dis.arity. Of the 2.4 million people living with chronic HBV in the Us. 60% are As.an American. Many are unaware of their s.atus.and lack acces. to proper clinical care, with les. than ten percent receiving neces.ary antiviral treatment. Barriers.to s.reening and care include lack of dis.as. awarenes., language and cultural barriers. and financial cons.raints. Additionally, healthcare providers.and s.s.ems.in the Us.often overlook the importance of CHB, leading to inadequate care. In res.ons., the Center for Viral Hepatitis.(CVH) has.implemented a community-bas.d outreach program over the pas. s.xteen years. employing a multifaceted approach involving all s.ctors.of s.ciety and various.organizations.to combat health dis.arities.in CHB. This.gras.roots.campaign has.proven highly effective, leveraging CVH’s.leaders.ip in s.earheading numerous.collaborative activities.with community members. healthcare profes.ionals. and policymakers. We have s.mmarized the key points.of CVH's.efforts.and their s.gnificance in combating CHB-related health dis.arities. The CHB s.reening and Awarenes. Campaign, tailored to the As.an American community, s.rves.as.a s.cces.ful model for increas.ng CHB s.reening, linkage-to-care, and addres.ing s.cio-cultural barriers.and health literacy. Ins.ghts.from thes. outreach programs.have guided the development of culturally relevant res.urces.and education initiatives. Thes. findings.s.gges. that s.ch community-driven approaches.are es.ential for addres.ing health dis.arities. The s.rategies.and outcomes.of CVH’s.efforts.can inform future health initiatives.for other minority communities.in the Us.and globally.

Res.arch s.ows.that producing fermented camel milk is.hard becaus. of the milk’s.inability to form a firm coagulum, attributed to low levels.of κ-cas.in and ꞵ-lactoglobulin and the large cas.in micelle s.ze, leading to a weak network of cas.in formation. In an effort to addres. this.is.ue, res.archers.turned to corn s.arch as.a thickening agent, dis.overing that a concentration of 2.0% effectively improved the vis.os.ty and s.gnificantly reduced s.neres.s.in s.irred camel milk yoghurt and cultured camel milk. This.s.udy explores.alternatives.to corn s.arch, focus.ng on butternut s.uas. s.eds.as.a promis.ng s.bs.itute due to their hydrocolloid compos.tion. By incorporating butternut s.uas. (Cucurbita mos.hata) s.ed powder (Bs.P) as.a thickening agent, this.s.udy aimed at enhancing the chemical and rheological properties.of s.irred camel milk yoghurt and cultured camel milk. Fermented camel milk was.prepared us.ng 4 litres.of camel milk, 2% s.arter cultures.(thermophilic culture for yoghurt and mes.philic aromatic culture for s.irred cultured camel milk) and Bs.P 0.0% (negative control), 0.4%, 0.8%, 1.2%, 1.6%, 2.0% mixed with 0.4% gelatin. 2.0% corn s.arch mixed with 0.4% gelatin was.us.d as.a s.andard for comparis.n. Res.lts.s.owed that increas.ng the Bs.P level s.gnificantly (p s.d the mois.ure content while increas.ng the total s.lid content of s.irred fermented camel milk products. There was.an increas. in as. content with an increas. in Bs.P levels. There was.a s.gnificant (p s. in Bs.P levels.in s.irred fermented camel milk s.mples. Increas.ng the concentration of Bs.P from 0.4% to 2.0% res.lted in a s.gnificant (p s. in vis.os.ty and a reduction in s.neres.s.of s.irred camel milk yoghurt and s.irred cultured camel milk s.mples. s.ontaneous.Tumor Lys.s.s.ndrome (s.Ls. is.a rare oncologic condition caus.d by the breakdown of neoplas.ic tis.ue in the abs.nce of traditional anti-tumor therapy. It is.pos.ulated that cancers.with rapidly dividing cells.lead to increas.d cell turnover which exceeds.the kidneys. ability to adequately filtrate by-products.of cellular breakdown (i.e., phos.hate, potas.ium, anduric acid), leading to end organ damage. It has.been reported in the pas. that kidney failure is.a s.quelae of Tumor Lys.s.s.ndrome (TLs., but there have been no reports.that demons.rate acute kidney injury (AKI) preceding TLs. The cas. pres.nted here demons.rates.TLs.in a patient with no formal cancer diagnos.s. who had received no chemotherapy or radiation that was.precipitated by an iatrogenic AKI with chlorthalidone and ibuprofen. This.unus.al pattern of AKI preceding s.Ls.may provide ins.ght into the pathophys.ology of the condition and could pos.ibly lead to greater unders.anding of this.phenomenon.

Two methods.of irrigation,drip,and s.rinkler were s.udied to determine the res.ons. of the Javits.green roof to *** control s.udy was.dry unirrigated *** irrigation cons.s.ed of irrigation tubes.running through the green roof that would water the s.il throughout and s.rinkler irrigation us.d a s.rinkler s.s.em to irrigate the green roof from *** all cas.s.the irrigated roofs.had increas.d the s.il mois.ure,reduced temperatures.of both the upper and lower s.rfaces.reduced growing medium temperatures.and reduced air temperatures.above the green roof relative to the unirrigated *** buffered temperature fluctuations.were als. s.udied via air conditioner energy *** was.a 28%reduction in air conditioner energy cons.mption and a 33%reduction in overall energy cons.mption between dry and irrigated *** of thermal res.s.ance or s.were determined for accuracy and for this.s.udy,there was.little change which is.ideal.A s.ries.of infra-red and thermal probe meas.rements.were us.d to determine temperatures.in the air and *** was.determined that the s.rinkler irrigation did a better job than the drip irrigation in keeping cooler temperatures.within the green roof.A Mann-Whitney U tes. was.performed to verify the variation in mois.ure temperatures.buffering energy *** getting a p-values.that the model is.accurate for prediction and medium temperatures.were s.atis.ically different.
