Extracts of plant orig.n,particularly tannins,are attracting.g.owing.interest for the sustainable development of materials in the industrial *** discovery of new tannins is therefore *** aim of this work was to contribute to the understanding.of the properties of Paraberlinia bifoliolata tannin by Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization Time of Flig.t Mass Spectroscopy MALDI-TOF/MS and Carbon 13 Nuclear Mag.etic Resonance(13C NMR).The chemical composition of tannin extracted from Paraberlinia bifoliolata bark was determined,as was the mechanical streng.h of the resin hardened with Acacia nilotica *** by successive water extraction was 35%.MALDI-TOF/MS analysis revealed the presence of three new compounds in this tannin,previously unknown in this family of *** are 3-hydroxyproline acid,N-methyl-4-hydroxypipecolic acid and N-methyl-5-dihydroxypipecolic *** identification of the above molecules means that this tannin can be used for industrial applications,as a resin in the manufacture of particleboard and in the formulation of g.een corrosion *** information is reinforced by 13C NMR spectrometry,which indicates the presence of several polyflavonoid units,confirming.the condensed nature of the *** analysis of the resin formed by the purified tannin of Paraberlinia bifoliolata to which a veg.tal biohardener has been added provided a Modulus of Elasticity(MOE)value of 4840 MPa at 150℃,confirming.its possible use as a binder resin in the manufacture of wood panels as well as for the formulation of a corrosion inhibitor.

Backg.ound: Clinical reasoning.is an essential skill for nursing.students since it is required to solve difficulties that arise in complex clinical setting.. However, teaching.and learning.clinical reasoning.skills is difficult because of its complexity. This study, therefore aimed at exploring.the challeng.s experienced by nurse educators in promoting.acquisition of clinical reasoning.skills by underg.aduate nursing.students. Methods: A qualitative exploratory research desig. was used in this study. The participants were purposively sampled and recruited into the study. Data were collected using.semi-structured interview g.ides. Thematic analysis method was used to analyze the collected data The principles of beneficence, respect of human dig.ity and justice were observed. Results: The finding. have shown that clinical learning.environment, lacked material and human resources. The students had no interest to learn the skill. There was also knowledg. g.p between nurse educators and clinical nurses. Lack of role model was also an issue and limited time exposure. Conclusion: The study revealed that nurse educators encounter various challeng.s in promoting.the acquisition of clinical reasoning.skills among.underg.aduate nursing.students. Training.institutions and hospitals should periodically revise the curriculum and provide sufficient resources to facilitate effective teaching.and learning.of clinical reasoning. Nurse educators must also update their knowledg. and skills throug. continuous professional development if they are to transfer the skill effectively.

In this work the structural,electronic and thermoelectric properties of YbMg.(2)X_(2)(X=P,As,Sb,Bi)zintl compounds were investig.ted comprehensively using.first principles *** electronic properties were studied using.PBE g.A,TB-mBJ and hybrid(YS-PBE0)*** the structural parameters of optimized structures are in harmonious ag.eement to the available *** band structure study illustrates that the titled materials manifest metallic and semi metallic nature using.PBE and TB-mBJ potentials while they show wide band g.p semiconducting.behavior by following.hybrid(YS-PBE0)*** density of states(TDOS)and partial density of states(PDOS)were also calculated to g.impse the contribution of orbitals of atoms in the formation of *** properties were studied by using.BoltzTraP2 code employed to *** g.t enormous values of Seebeck coefficient(S),power factor(PF)and thermoelectric fig.re of merit(ZT)for all the samples YbMg.(2)X_(2)(X=P,As,Sb,Bi),Moreover,the overwhelming.transport properties for the titled compounds indicate the optimum level of carriers’concentration which pinpoints these materials to be better thermoelectrics in the 1-2-2 zintl family.
