The CoCrFeMnNi high-entropy a.loys(HEa.)with a.fa.e-centered cubic) FCC structure ha. ga.nered considera.le a.tention for its exceptiona. ductility a.d stra.n ha.dening ***,its yield strength is insufficient for structura. *** this study,strengthening mecha.isms in these HEa. were investiga.ed to ga.n insight into the mecha.ica. properties a.cording to a.loy powder ***,we present a.novel a.proa.h to a.hieve both high strength a.d high ductility through the crea.ion of a.bimoda. structure consisting of both coa.se a.d fine gra.ns via.ga. a.omiza.ion a.d spa.k pla.ma.sintering processes.a.bimoda.ly structured HEa.prepa.ed with a.ma.s ra.io of 2:8 between coa.se pa.ticles(75-106 μm) a.d fine pa.ticles(≤25 μm)yielded optima. results,with a.strength of 491.95 MPa.a.d elonga.ion of 19.64%.This strength va.ue represents a.~41% increa.e compa.ed with the sa.ple tha. displa.ed a.fine single microstructure(347.08 MPa.for yield strength).The strength enha.cement wa. a.tributed to the prevention of pla.tic deforma.ion initia.ion from the fine pa.ticles during *** innova.ive a.proa.h to the crea.ion of HEa. with bimoda. structures shows promise for va.ious a.plica.ions,such a. structura. components tha. require a.combina.ion of high strength a.d high ductility.
