Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common cancers in the world and is one of the leading indications for liver transplantation,liver transplantation is the gold standard treatment for end stage liver *** is based up on radiological characteristics and rarely biopsy *** treatment must be individualized to each patient to improve recurrences and *** this article,we focus on the different selection criteria for liver *** study aimed to investigate the distribution laws and research frontiers of international literature,so as to present holistic bibliometric evaluation of the studies on 5-year survival and disease-free recurrence in 5 years,according to hepatocarcinoma criteria for liver *** paper aims to review and analyze 5-year survival and disease-free recurrence based on hepatocarcinoma criteria for liver *** systematically examines and summarizes distribution characteristics and research frontiers through bibliometric analysis.A bibliographic search was implemented in PubMed/Medline,Clinical Key,Science Direct and index Medicus with MESH terms,from the year 1996–*** selected for transplantation using the Metroticket 2.0(MT2)criteria had the highest overall survival along with patients selected for transplantation using the Milan Criteria had the best 5-year disease-free *** Metroticket 2.0 criteria(MT2)and Milan Criteria(MC)have shown the most favorable post-transplant outcomes for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,MC demonstrated the best 5-year disease-free recurrence rate,underscoring the significance of taking into account tumor morphology and biology when determining the eligibility of HCC patients for liver *** distribution characteristics and research frontiers by bibliometrics concerning prognostic role of selection criteria for liver transplantation in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma the collaboration

Structural performance assessment of GFRP elastic gridshells by machine learning interpretability methods

The prediction of structural performance plays a significant role in damage assessment of glass fiber reinforcement polymer(GFRP)elastic gridshell *** learning(ML)approaches are implemented in this study,to predict maximum stress and displacement of GFRP elastic gridshell *** ML algorithms,including linear regression(LR),ridge regression(RR),support vector regression(SVR),K-nearest neighbors(KNN),decision tree(DT),random forest(RF),adaptive boosting(AdaBoost),extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost),category boosting(CatBoost),and light gradient boosting machine(LightGBM),are implemented in this *** features of structural performance considered in this study are the maximum stress as f1(x)and the maximum displacement to self-weight ratio as f2(x).A comparative study is conducted and the Catboost model presents the highest prediction ***,interpretable ML approaches,including shapely additive explanations(SHAP),partial dependence plot(PDP),and accumulated local effects(ALE),are applied to explain the *** is employed to describe the importance of each variable to structural performance both locally and *** results of sensitivity analysis(SA),feature importance of the CatBoost model and SHAP approach indicate the same parameters as the most significant variables for f1(x)and f2(x).

Dissecting Maize Productivity:ideotypes Associated with Grain Yield under Drought Stress and Well-watered Conditions

To increase maize （Zea mays L.） yields in drought-prone environments and offset predicted maize yield losses under future climates, the development of improved breeding pipelines using a multi-disciplinary approach is essential. Elucidating key growth processes will provide opportunities to improve drought breeding progress through the identification of key phenotypic traits, ideotypes, and donors. in this study, we tested a large set of tropical and subtropical maize inbreds and single cross hybrids under reproductive stage drought stress and well-watered conditions. patterns of biomass production, senescence, and plant water status were measured throughout the crop cycle. Under drought stress, early biomass production prior to anthesis was important for inbred yield, while delayed senescence was important for hybrid yield. Under well-watered conditions, the ability to maintain a high biomass throughout the growing cycle was crucial for inbred yield, while a stay-green pattern was important for hybrid yield. While new quantitative phenotyping tools such as spectral reflectance （Normalized Difference Vegetation index, NDVi） allowed for the characterization of growth and senescence patterns as well as yield, qualitative measurements of canopy senescence were also found to be associated with grain yield.

Lignin is a cheap, abundant and non-toxic group of complex phenolic polymers obtained in large amounts from the papermaking and cellulosic biofuel industries. Although the application of lignin has been ex- plored in these and several more industries, there are limited applications of lignin in the energy industry. However, numerous research revealed a great interest in the exploration of this renewable biopolymer in storage energy devices. Some of these applications include the use of lignin as an expander for lead-acid batteries, electrodes for primary and rechargeable batteries, electrodes for electronic double layer capac- itors and electrochemical pseudocapacitors, and to feed different types of fuel cells. The use of lignin in energy storage devices improves not only the performance of these devices but also decreases the price and toxicity, contributing to obtaining greener energy devices. Based on the above, this review provides an overview of the main research work related to the use of lignin as a renewable component, suitable to replace some synthetic and toxic compounds used in the fabrication of energy storage devices with particular emphasis on batteries, advanced supercapacitors, and solar and fuel cells.

Comparison of biological fitness in crosses between subspecies of Meccus phyllosomus （Hemiptera： Reduviidae： Triatominae） in southern Mexico

Understanding the biological parameters of some triatomine subspecies of Meccus phyllosomus （Burmeister） is a crucial first step in estimating the epidemiologie importance of this group. Biological parameters related to hatching, lifetime, number of blood meals to molt, percentage of females at the end of the cycle, number of laid eggs, and mortality for each instar of 3 M. phyllosomus subspecies [M. p. mazzottii （Usinger）, M. p. pallidipennis （Stal）, and M. p. phyllosomus] and their laboratory hybrids were evaluated and compared. No significant differences （P 〉 0.05） were found among the experimental hybrids （Mapa, MaPhy, paPhy） and reciprocal cohorts. in 5 （hatching, number of blood meals to molt, accumulative mortality, percentage of females, and mean number of laid eggs） of the 6 studied parameters （with the exception of development time）, the hybrid cohorts had better fitness results than the parental cohorts involved in each set of crosses. The increase in hybrid fitness found in our study could lead to an increase in the epidemiologic risks caused by transmission of Trypanosoma cruzi to humans.

This study presents an investigation of the impact of the quasi-stationary voltage support provided by a voltage source converter(VSC)connected to a single point of a power *** on the directional derivative concept,an analytical method is developed to quantify the sensitivities of the AC bus voltage with respect to the VSC reactive power control *** on a real case study,it is shown that the method applies to VSC units that are part of VSC-HVDC systems,which can operate in a point-to-point or multi-terminal ***-domain simulations are performed to verify the findings from the application of the analytical method on a reduced size power system.

Dependence of dynamic contour and Goldmann applanation tonometries on peripheral corneal thickness

AiM：To determine the effects of peripheral corneal thickness（PCT）on dynamic contour tonometry（DCT）and Goldmann applanation tonometry（GAT）.METHODS：A cross-sectional *** created a software which calculates the corneal contour（CC）as a function of the radius from the corneal apex to each pixel of the *** software generates a central circumference with a radius of 1 mm and the remainder of the cornea is segmented in 5 rings concentric with corneal apex being its diameter not constant around the corneal circumference as a consequence of the irregular CC but keeping constant the diameter of each ring in each direction of the *** was determined as the mean thickness of the most eccentric *** weighted scatterplot smoothing（LOWESS）regression was used to determine the pattern of the relationship between PCT and both DCT and GAT ***,two multivariable linear regression models were *** each of them,the dependant variable was intraocular pressure（iOP）as determined using GAT and DCT *** both of the models the predictive variable was PCT though LOWESS regression pattern was used to model the relationship between the dependant variables and the predictor *** and sex were also introduced control variables along with their first-degree interactions with *** outcome measures include amount of iOP variation explained through regression models（R2）and regression coefficients（B）.RESULTS：Subjects included 109 eyes of 109 healthy *** regression suggested that a 2nd-degree polynomial would be suitable to model the relationshipbetween both DCT and GAT with *** PCT was introduced in both models as a linear and quadratic *** age nor sex nor interactions were statistically significant in both *** GAT model,R2was 17.14%（F=9.02;P=0.0002）,PCT linear term B was-1.163（95%Ci：-1.163,-0.617）.PCT quadratic term B was 0.00081（95%Ci：0.00043,0.00118）.For DCT model R2was 14.28%（F=9.29;P=0.0002

A cascade of dramatic physiological events is linked to the sperm acrosome reaction and binding to the oocyte's zona pellucida during human sperm ***,structural and functional sperm changes during capacitation currently remain poorly ***,we performed a multibiomarker approach based on the utilization of sperm concentration,motility,viability,morphology,acrosome reaction,tyrosine phosphorylation,DNA fragmentation,and lectin-binding sites to analyze the impact caused by swim-up selection times(uncapacitated,1 h capacitated,and 4 h capacitated)on sperm function and structure in normozoospermic *** found that a 4 h swim-up capacitation increased sperm quality,because a large number of cells with normal morphology and lower DNA fragmentation rates were ***,the long-term capacitation induced a higher percentage of cells with tyrosine phosphorylation of the principal piece as well as a redistribution of lectin-binding ***,the multivariate biomarkers analyzed showed a less variable distribution on spermatozoa recovered after 4 h capacitation than that with the shorter capacitation *** findings stress the importance of capacitation time as a relevant factor in sperm quality with potential biological reproductive implications both for basic research and in assisted reproduction techniques.

HLA B27 as Predisposition Factor to Suffer Age Related Macular Degeneration

To research whether specific alleles HLA class Ⅰ （HLA-A and HLA-B） and class Ⅱ （HLA-DR） are risk factors for the development of exudative type of Age Related Macular Degeneration（ARMD）, HLA antigens are expressed both in normal and affected eyes with ARMD. We designed a prospective case-controlled study. We recruited 75 patients with choroidal neovascuiarization predominantly classic or occult, secondary to ARMD, and treated with photodynamic therapy. Two hundred and fifty patients over 55 years old, without ophthalmologic pathology who went to hospital for an analytical routine check were used as control. The analysis of the data shows a significant difference between two groups. Allele HLA-B27 correlated positively with ARMD （p 〈 0.0113）. However, we didn＇t find alleles negatively associated. Thus HLA-B27 is an allele predisposed to suffer ARMD.
