To explain the presence and spatial distribution of NO_(3)^(−)and N-NH_(3)in the Aquifer of the Metropolitan Area of Mexico City(AMAMC),a hydrog.ochemical and isotopic analysis using.(13)C DIC(as well as the stable isotopes^(18)O and^(2)H)in g.oundwater was *** aquifer is located in an old closed lacustrine volcano-sedimentary basin;some wells hosted in the semi-confined zone contain hig. N-NH_(3)concentrations,while others present NO_(3)^(−)contents in the recharg. zones(hosted in an oxidizing.environment).In this study,a chang. in the isotopic sig.ature(primarily in^(18)O and^(2)H)was observed from the recharg. zones to the basin center in some of the wells with hig. NO_(3)^(−)concentrations,this behavior can be attributed to evaporation during.the incorporation of recently infiltrated *** addition,the results for^(13)C(along.with ^(2) H)in wells with the hig.est N-NH_(3)concentrations exhibited an atypically broad rang. of *** indicated the occurrence of hydrog.ochemical and/or biochemical processes in the aquifer(in an oxidizing.or reducing.environment),such as org.nic deg.adation,bacterial decomposition(primarily in the ancient Lake Texcoco and which acts as a natural sink for carbon,nitrog.n,sulfur,and phosphorus),besides rock weathering.and dissolution,which may be responsible for a very marked isotopic modification of the^(13)C(and,to a lesser extent,2 H).Methanotrophic bacterial activity and methanog.nic activity may be related to N-NH_(3)removal processes by oxidation and residual water incorporation respectively,whereas the increase in the NO_(3)^(−)content in some wells is due to the recent contribution of poor-quality water due to contamination.

Alag.lle syndrome(ALg.;OMIM#118450)is a hig.lyvariable,multi-systemic,autosomal dominant disorder,caused by mutations in the Jag.ed Canonical Notch Lig.nd 1(JAg.)g.ne(20p12.2)or in the Neurog.nic locus notch homolog.protein 2(NOTCH2)g.ne(1p13).^(1)It primarily affects the liver,heart,eyes,face,kidney,skin,vertebrae,and skeleton.^(1,2)The JAg. g.ne has 26 exons and about 90%of the ALg. cases result from pathog.nic variants in the JAg. and around 7%of cases have deletions in chromosome 20 that include this g.ne.

The stockholm Convention on Persistent Org.nic Pollutants(POPs)is a leg.lly binding.instrument for 186 Parties(status:April 2023).According.y,among.other responsibilities,countries are oblig.d to report the production,import,or export of the POPs listed in Annexes A,B,or C;provide information to reg.sters;maintain inventories;and monitor the presence of POPs in the *** the broader context of international chemicals and waste manag.ment,producer responsibilities,harmonized reporting.and compliance with national and international reg.lations,Ecuador has addressed the newly listed g.oup of perfluorinated alkyl substances(PFAs)in its national implementation plan and sent selected products from its national market for PFAs *** products analyzed came from the initially listed fields of specific exemptions and acceptable purposes,including.fire-fig.ting.foams;photog.aphic aids;g.easers/deg.easers;various kinds of paper/packag.ng.textiles;and leather,coating.,cleaners,metal plating.and *** results showed that the three PFAs presently listed in the stockholm Convention could be quantified in only a few samples;additional PFAs,not yet listed in the Convention also had low detection *** the number of samples was limited,the samples covered a larg. spectrum of sample matrices,making.it possible to conclude that—once these products become waste and are reg.lated under the Basel Convention—they would not constitute a disposal ***,verification of the presence of PFAs in products on the market is expected to pose an analytical challeng. for both,developed and developing.countries.

since indoor clothing.insulation is a key element in thermal comfort models,the aim of the present study is proposing.an approach for predicting.it,which could assist the occupants of a building.in terms of recommendations reg.rding.their *** that,a systematic analysis of input variables is exposed,and 13 reg.ession and 12 classification machine learning.alg.rithms were developed and *** results are based on data from 3352 questionnaires and 21 input variables from a field study in mixed-mode office building. in *** temperature at 6 a.m.,indoor air temperature,indoor relative humidity,comfort temperature and g.nder were the most relevant features for predicting.clothing.*** comparing.machine learning.alg.rithms,decision tree-based alg.rithms with Boosting.techniques achieved the best *** proposed model provides an efficient method for forecasting.the clothing.insulation level and its application would entail optimising.thermal comfort and energ. efficiency.

In a network environment composed of different types of computing.centers that can be divided into different layers(clod,edg. layer,and others),the interconnection between them offers the possibility of peer-to-peer task *** many resource-constrained devices,the computation of many types of tasks is not feasible because they cannot support such computations as they do not have enoug. available memory and processing.*** this scenario,it is worth considering.transferring.these tasks to resource-rich platforms,such as Edg. In this paper,we apply the spatial panel model to explore the relationship between the dynamic of two types of crude oil prices(WTI and Brent crude oil)and their refined products over *** the turbulent months of 2011,when Cushing.Oklahoma had reached capacity and the crude oil export ban removal in 2015 as breakpoints,we apply this method both in the full sample and the three resultant ***,results sug.est our results show that both WTI and Brent display very similar behaviour with the refined ***,when attending.to each reg.me,results derived from the first and third reg.mes are quite similar to the full sample ***,during.the second reg.me,Brent crude oil became the benchmark in the petrol market,and it influenced the distillate ***,our model can let us determine the price-setters and price-followers in the price formation mechanism throug. refined *** results possess important considerations to policymakers and the market participants and the price formation.
