In recent times,sixth generation(6G)communication technologies have become a hot research topic because of maximum throughput and low delay services for mobile *** encompasses several heterogeneous resource and communication standard in ensuring incessant availability of *** the same time,the development of 6G enables the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)in offering cost and time-efficient solution to several applications like healthcare,surveillance,disaster management,*** UAV networks,energy efficiency and data collection are considered the major process for high quality network *** these procedures are found to be challenging because of maximum mobility,unstable links,dynamic topology,and energy restricted *** issues are solved by the use of artificial intelligence(AI)and energy efficient clustering techniques for UAVs in the 6G *** this inspiration,this work designs an artificial intelligence enabled cooperative cluster-based data collection technique for unmanned aerial vehicles(AEccDc-UAV)in 6G *** proposed AEccDc-UAV technique purposes for dividing the UAV network as to different clusters and allocate a cluster head(cH)to each cluster in such a way that the energy consumption(EcM)gets *** presented AEccDc-UAV technique involves a quasi-oppositional shuffled shepherd optimization(QOSSO)algorithm for selecting the cHs and construct *** QOSSO algorithm derives a fitness function involving three input parameters residual energy of UAVs,distance to neighboring UAVs,and degree of *** performance of the AEccDc-UAV technique is validated in many aspects and the obtained experimental values demonstration promising results over the recent state of art methods.

Fuzzy c-means Rule Generation for Fuzzy Entry Temperature Prediction in a Hot Strip Mill

Variable estimation for finishing mill set-up in hot rolling is greatly affected by measurement uncertainties, variations in the incoming bar conditions and product changes. The fuzzy c-means algorithm was evaluated for rule base generation for fuzzy and fuzzy grey-box temperature estimation. Experimental data were collected from a real- life mill and three different sets were randomly drawn. The first set was used for rule-generation, the second set was used for training those systems with learning capabilities, while the third one was used for validation. The perform- ance of the developed systems was evaluated by five performance measures applied over the prediction error with the validation set and was compared with that of the empirical rule-base fuzzy systems and the physical model used in plant. The results show that the fuzzy c-means generated rule-bases improve temperature estimation; however, the best results are obtained when fuzzy c-means algorithm, grey-box modeling and learning functions are combined. Application of fuzzy c-means rule generation brings improvement on performance of up to 72%.

Androgen deficiency is strongly associated with erectile dysfunction （ED）. Inadequate penile arterial blood flow is one of the major causes of ED. The blood flow to the corpus cavernosum is mainly derived from the internal pudendal arteries （IPAs）; however, no study has evaluated the effects of androgen deprivation on IPA＇s function. We hypothesized that castration impairs IPAs reactivity and structure, contributing to ED. In our study, Wistar male rats, 8-week-old, were castrated and studied 30 days after orchiectomy. Functional and structural properties of rat IPAs were determined using wire and pressure myograph systems, respectively. Protein expression was determined by Western blot and immunohistochemistry. Plasma testosterone levels were determined using the IMMULITE 1000 Immunoassay System. castrated rats exhibited impaired erectile function, represented by decreased intracavernosal pressure/mean arterial pressure ratio. IPAs from castrated rats exhibited decreased phenylephrine- and electrical field stimulation （EFS）-induced contraction and decreased acetylcholine- and EFS-induced vasodilatation. IPAs from castrated rats exhibited decreased internal diameter, external diameter, thickness of the arterial wall, and cross-sectional area. castration decreased nNOS and α-actin expression and increased collagen expression, p38 （Thr180/ryr182） phosphorylation, as well as caspase 3 cleavage. In conclusion, androgen deficiency is associated with impairment of IPA reactivity and structure and increased apoptosis signaling markers. Our findings suggest that androgen deficiency-induced vascular dysfunction is an event involving hypotrophic vascular remodeling of IPAs.

In recent years,deep learning methods have been introduced for segmentation and classi-fication of leaf lesions caused by pests and *** the commonly used approaches,convolutional neural networks have provided results with high *** purpose of this work is to present an effective and practical system capable of seg-menting and classifying different types of leaf lesions and estimating the severity of stress caused by biotic agents in coffee leaves using convolutional neural *** proposed approach consists of two stages:a semantic segmentation stage with severity calculation and a symptom lesion classification *** stage was tested separately,highlighting the positive and negative points of each *** obtained very good results for the severity estimation,suggesting that the model can estimate severity values very close to the real *** the biotic stress classification,the accuracy rates were greater than 97%.Due to the promising results obtained,an App for Android platform was developed and imple-mented,consisting of semantic segmentation and severity calculation,as well as symptom classification to assist both specialists and farmers to identify and quantify biotic stresses using images of coffee leaves acquired by smartphone.

continuous hydrothermal synthesis was highlighted in a recent review as an enabling technology for the production of nanoparticles. In recent years, it has been shown to be a suitable reaction medium for the synthesis of a wide range of nanomaterials. Many single and complex nanomaterials such as metals, metal oxides, doped oxides, carbonates, sulfides, hydroxides, phosphates, and metal organic frameworks can be formed using continuous hydrothermal synthesis techniques. This work presents a methodology to characterize continuous hydrothermal flow systems both experimentally and numerically, and to determine the scalability of a counter current supercritical water reactor for the large scale production （〉1,000 T-year-1） of nanomaterials. Experiments were performed using a purpose-built continuous flow rig, featuring an injection loop on a metal salt feed line, which allowed the injection of a chromophoric tracer. At the system outlet, the tracer was detected using UV/Vis absorption, which could be used to measure the residence time distribution within the reactor volume. computational fluid dynamics （cFD） calculations were also conducted using a modeled geometry to represent the experimental apparatus. The performance of the cFD model was tested against experimental data, verifying that the cFD model accurately predicted the nucleation and growth of the nanomaterials inside the reactor.

Objective： To examine the effect of metanol extract of Petiveria alliacea （PM） on airway inflammation in a murine model of chronic asthma. Methods： Two-month-old male BALB/c mice （n=6-8/group） were sensitized on days 0 and 14 by intraperitoneal injection of 20μg ovalbumin （OVA）. On day 25, the mice received an airway challenge with OVA （3%, w/v, in phosphate buffered saline）. PM was administered orally by oral gavage to mice at doses of 100, 200 and 400 mg/kg body weight once daily from days 18 to 23. control mice were orally administered phosphate buffered saline （PBS） to induce a model of asthma. At the end of the test, respiratory reactivity was assayed, the total cell number, interleukin-4 （IL-4）, IL-5, IL-13, tumor necrosis factor-alpha （TNF-α） and reactive oxygen species （ROS） in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid （BALF） were determined and the levels of serum IgE, intercellular cell adhesion molecule 1 （IcAM-1） and eotoxin were measured. In addition, lung tissue was used to qualify the IL-4, IL-5, IL-13, TNF-α and transforming growth factor beta 1 （TGF-β1）. Histologic examination was performed to observe inflammatory cellular infiltration. Results： The administration of PM in comparison with the OVA-only treated group significantly attenuated the infiltration of eosinophUs and other inflammatory cells （P〈0.01）. Airway resistance （RI） in the OVA-only induced group was significantly higher than that of the PBS control group （P〈0.01） when methacholine was added. TNF-α, IgE, TGF-β1 and cytokine levels IL-4, IL-5, IL-β in the BALF decreased compared to control mice （P〈0.01 or P〈0.05）. PM treatment also inhibited the production of chemokines, eotaxin and IcAM-1 in BALF （P〈0.01）, which improved lung function. Juvenile hormone （JH）, a sesquiterpenoid synthetized by the insect corpora allata （cA）, plays critical roles in metamorphosis and reproduction. Penultimate or last step of JH synthesis is catalyzed by juvenile hormone acid O-methyltransferase （JHAMT）. Here we report the cloning and expression analysis of the JHAMT orthologue in the cockroach, Blattella germanica （L.）（BgJHAMT）. BgJHAMT is mainly expressed in cA, with only expression traces in ovary. Three different isoforms, differing in the 3＇-UTR sequence, were identified. Isoform A shows between 35 and 65 times higher expression than B and c in cA from penultimate nymphal instar and adult females. RNAi-triggered knock down of BgJHAMT produces a dramatic reduction of JH synthesis, concomitant with a decrease of fat body viteUogenin expression and basal follicle length. BgJHAMT mRNA levels in cA of females along the gonadotrophic cycle parallel, with a slight advancement, JH synthesis profile. BgJHAMT mRNA levels were reduced in starved females and in females in which we reduced nutritional signaling by knocking down insulin receptor and target of rapamycin （TOR）. Results show that conditions that modify JH synthesis in adult B. germanica females show parallel changes of BgJHAMT mRNA levels and that the JH-specifie branch of the JH synthesis pathway is regulated in the same way as the mevalonate branch. Furthermore, we demonstrate that nutrition and its signaling through the insulin receptor and TOR pathways are essential for activating BgJHAMT expression, which suggests that this enzyme can be a checkpoint for the regulation of JH production in relation to nutritional status.

Objective:To provide baseline data on the prevalence and intensity of soil-transmitted helminthiasis egg contamination in the soil among indigenous ***:A total of 317 soil samples from three barangays of indigenous communities communities in Tigaon,camarines Sur,Philippines were examined for soil-transmitted helminthiasis egg contamination using optimized sugar flotation ***:Of the soil samples examined,141(44.48%)were contaminated by Ascaris spp.,Toxocara spp.,and Trichuris *** cumulative prevalence varying across the study sites(Pcaris *** predominant in all study sites,followed by Toxocara *** Trichuris *** a prevalence of 41.96%,7.57%,and 5.36%,***,Toxocara *** the highest intensity of contamination,followed by Ascaris *** Trichuris *** term of geometric mean soil-transmitted helminthiasis eggs recovered per one gram soil sample(34.25,21.45,and 11.85 respectively).Each study site harbors significant amount of soiltransmitted helminthiasis eggs and zoonotic Toxocara eggs,which present high risk of soil-transmitted helminthiasis infection,particularly among children observed to play and cohabitate with animals known to be hosts of these ***:The alarming rate of soil-transmitted helminthiasis and Toxocara egg contamination reported in this study suggests that additional measures should be undertaken to control soil-transmitted helminthiasis and zoonotic intestinal infections in the country.
