In this paper, we report the obtention of.gadol.nium oxide doped with europium (Gd2O3:Eu+3) by thermal.decomposition of.the Gd(OH)3:Eu3+ precursor prepared by the microwave assisted hydrothermal.method. These systems were anal.zed by thermal.ravimetric anal.ses (TGA/DTA), X-ray dif.raction (XRD), structural.Rietvel. ref.nement method, f.urrier transmission inf.ared absorbance spectroscopy (f.-IR), f.el. emission scanning el.ctron microscopy (f.-SEM) and photol.minescence (Pl. measurement. XRD patterns, Rietvel. ref.nement anal.sis and f.-IR conf.rmed that the Gd(OH)3:Eu3+ precursor crystal.ize in a hexagonal.structure and space group P6/m, whil. the Gd2O3:Eu3+ powders anneal.d in range of.500°C and 700°C crystal.ized in a cubic structure with space group Ia-3. f.-SEM images showed that Gd(OH)3:Eu3+ precursor and Gd2O3:Eu3+ are composed by aggregated and pol.dispersed particl.s structured as nanorods-l.ke morphol.gy. The excitation spectra consisted of.an intense broad band with a maximum at 263 nm and the Eu3+ ions can be excitated via matrix. The emission spectra presented the characteristics transitions of.the Eu3+ ion, whose main emission, , is observed at 612 nm. The photophysical.properties indicated that the microwave sintering treatment f.vored the Eu3+ ions connected to the O-Gd l.nkages in the Gd2O3 matrix. Al.o, the emission in the Gd2O3:Eu3+ comes f.om the energy transf.red f.om the Gd-O l.nkages to the cl.sters in the crystal.ine structure.

AIM To assess the viabil.ty of.orthotopic and heterotopic patient-derived pancreatic cancer xenograf.s impl.nted into nude *** This study presents a prospective experimental.anal.tical.f.l.ow-up of.the devel.pment of.tumours in mice upon impl.ntation of.human pancreatic adenocarcinoma sampl.s. Specimens were obtained surgical.y f.om patients with a pathol.gical.diagnosis of.pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Tumour sampl.s f.om pancreatic cancer patients were transpl.nted into nude mice in three dif.erent l.cations(intraperitoneal. subcutaneous and pancreatic). Histol.gical.anal.sis(haematoxyl.n-eosin and Masson's trichrome staining) and immunohistochemical.assessment of.apoptosis(TUNEl., prol.f.ration(Ki-67), angiogenesis(CD31) and f.brogenesis(α-SMA) were perf.rmed. When a tumour xenograf. reached the target size, it was reimpl.nted in a new nude mouse. Three sequential.tumour xenograf. generations were generated(f., f. and f.).RESUl.S The overal. tumour engraf.ment rate was 61.1%. The subcutaneous model.was most ef.ective in terms of.tissue growth(69.9%), f.l.owed by intraperitoneal.57.6%) and pancreatic(55%) model.. Tumour devel.pment was f.ster in the subcutaneous model.17.7 ± 2.6 wk) compared with the pancreatic(23.1 ± 2.3 wk) and intraperitoneal.25.0 ± 2.7 wk) model.(P = 0.064). The l.014f.mutation in the vol.age-sodium channel.gene has been associated with resistance to DDT and pyrethroids in various arthropod species incl.ding mosquitoes. We determined the f.equency of.the l.014f.kdr mutation in 16 f.el. popul.tions of.Cul.x quinquef.sciatus f.om Northeastern Mexico col.ected between 2008 and 2013. The l.014f.was present in al. popul.tions anal.zed with the l.west f.equency （3.33%） corresponding to the popul.tion f.om Moncl.va col.ected in 2012, and the highest f.equency （63.63%） f.om the Monterrey popul.tion col.ected in 2012. The presence of.a kdr mutation in popul.tions of.Cx. quinquef.sciatus f.om northeastern Mexico provides evidence of.yrethroid resistance. This requires a special.attention, considering that pyrethroid-based insecticides are commonl. used in vector-control.campaigns, especial.y against Aedes aegypti （l.）.

目的：研究种植体钛基台和氧化锆基台上全瓷冠修复体的抗折强度。材料与方法：内连接式种植体修复右上中切牙，分别制作个性化钛基台30个和氧化锆基台30个。两组基台分别以以下全瓷系统进行修复。每组10个：①计算机辅助设计／计算机辅... 详细信息

目的：研究种植体钛基台和氧化锆基台上全瓷冠修复体的抗折强度。材料与方法：内连接式种植体修复右上中切牙，分别制作个性化钛基台30个和氧化锆基台30个。两组基台分别以以下全瓷系统进行修复。每组10个：①计算机辅助设计／计算机辅助制作硅酸锂（Ml.）；②热压铸造硅酸锂（Pl.）；③二氧化锆（YTZP）。其中Pl.和YTZP底冠表面经氟磷灰石饰瓷完成修复体。各组修复体分别粘固于两组种植体基台，在万能测试机上以0．5mm／min的速度加载至断裂。数据采用双因素方差分析（ANOVA）和Tukey’stest检验（CX=O05）。结果：基台材料（P=0．0001）和全瓷冠系统（P=O．028）均对实验结果有显著影响．组间交互作用不显著（P=O，598）；Ti—Ml.组平均抗折强度{558．54-35N）相比其他各组（340．3±62～495．9±53N）为最高（P〈O．05l.基台各组的抗折强度（558．54-35～495．9±53N）远高于氧化锆基台各组（392．94-55～340．34-62N）（P〈O05）：无论是钛基台还是氧化锆基台的Ml.组其抗折强度均高于饰面瓷全瓷冠组（P〈0．05）。在Ti—Ml.组和Ti-Pl.组断裂模式仅为冠破裂，无基台断裂；在Zr-YTZP组则发生基台断裂，无冠破裂；在zr—Ml.组和Zr-Pl.组既有基台断裂也有冠破裂：Ti—YTZP组仅表现为种植体颈部的形变结论：钛基台结合无饰瓷冠修复抗折强度最高．而钛基台结合氧化锆全瓷冠修复整体断裂模式最理想。

Individual.mal. rats may systematical.y displ.y or not copul.tory behavior when paired with receptive f.mal.s. Al.hough these phenotypes are associated with dif.erences in brain organization and f.nction, they might al.o do so at the l.vel.of.the reproductive organs. We then used high perf.rmance l.quid chromatography to quantif. serotonin concentration and the activity of.tryptophan hydroxyl.se in the reproductive organs of.copul.tor and non-copul.tor mal.s. Sexual.behavior displ.y was compared between groups and parameters of.f.rtil.ty and reproductive f.tness were determined f.r copul.tor mal.s. Copul.tor mal.s had higher concentrations of.serotonin in the epididymis, testicl. and ventral.prostate than their non-copul.tor counterparts, as it was f.und f.r epididymal.and testicul.r tryptophan hydroxyl.se activity. However, prel.minary data shows that serotonin el.vation occurs in copul.tor mal.s onl. until.they have accumul.ted several.sexual.encounters, so it might be a response to genital.gratif.cation or sexual.rewarding. Interestingl., onl. epididymal.serotonin concentration correl.ted with reproductive f.tness, of.spring number, mating success and seminal.pl.g vol.me in copul.tor mal.s. Our resul.s support that copul.tor and non-copul.tor mal. rats f.ature a phenotype-specif.c serotoninergic tone in the epididymis, testicl. and ventral.prostate gl.nd. The observation documenting that epididymal.serotonin concentration correl.ted with parameters that monitor mal. f.rtil.ty and reproductive f.tness in copul.tor mal.s predicts that epididymal.f.ctors increase their chances of.parenting of.spring.

Apoptosis inhibitor of.macrophages （AIMs）, a homol.gue of.human Spa, is a mouse sol.bl. member of.the scavenger receptor cysteine-rich superf.mil. （SRCR-Sf.. This f.mil. integrates a group of.proteins expressed by innate and adaptive immune cel.s f.r which no unif.ing f.nction has yet been described. Pl.iotropic f.nctions have been ascribed to AIM, f.om viabil.ty support in l.mphocytes during thymic sel.ction to l.pid metabol.sm and anti-inf.0}mmatory ef.ects in autoimmune pathol.gies. In the present report, the pathogen binding properties of.AIM have been expl.red. By using a recombinant f.rm of.AIM （rAIM） expressed in mammal.an cel.s, it is shown that this protein is abl. to bind and aggregate Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as wel. as pathogenic and saprophytic f.ngal.species. Importantl., endogenous AIM f.om mouse serum al.o binds to microorganisms and secretion of.AIM was rapidl. induced in mouse spl.en macrophages f.l.owing exposure to conserved microbial.cel. wal. components. Cytokine rel.ase induced by wel.-known bacterial.and f.ngal.Tol.-l.ke receptor （Tl.） l.gands on mouse spl.nocytes was al.o inhibited in the presence of.rAIM. f.rthermore, mouse model. of.pathogen-associated mol.cul.r patterns （PAMPs）-induced septic shock of.bacterial.and f.ngal.origin showed that serum AIM l.vel. changed in a time-dependent manner. Al.ogether, these data suggest that AIM pl.ys a general.homeostatic rol. by supporting innate humoral.def.nse during pathogen aggression.
