The main requirement of.a vector control.er is knowing the magnitude and position of.the rotating f.0}w in the rotor. This f.ature permits to use either f.0}w sensors or f.0}w estimators. The sol.tion chosen was the estimation of.rotor f.0}x with the hybrid neuro-f.zzy system. The motor characteristics are： 3.75 kW （5 HP）, two pol.-pair, operate at 60 Hz and air-gap l.ngth 0.2 mm. The ANf.S （adaptive neuro-f.zzy inf.rence system） was used to tune the membership f.nctions in f.zzy system. The hybrid estimator aims at compensating possibl. parametric variations of.the machine caused by agents, such as temperature or nucl.us saturation. The simul.ted resul.s have shown good perf.rmance.

Objectives: To better understand the etiol.gic f.ctors that can inf.0}ence preecl.mpsia, we inves- tigated hereditary f.ctors f.r thrombosis, f. l.iden, f.II 20210A mutation and the pol.morphism C677T of.the MTHf., as singl. and as in association, in a group of.women f.om Ceará state-Northeast Brazil.with severe preecl.mpsia. Material.and Methods: We conducted a case-control.study. 101 cases of.severe preecl.mpsia were recruited f.om School.Maternity Assis Chateaubriand, a ref.rence Maternity of.State of.Ceará, Brazil. f.om December 2009 to December 2010. f.r cl.nical.correl.tions, women were interrogated about f.tal.l.w weight (l.ss than2500 grams) and f.tal.l.ss in previous pregnancies. l.w weight, f.tal.l.ss and necessity of.neonatal.intensive care unit (neonatal.ICU) rel.ted to current pregnancy were registered. 245 heal.hy vol.ntary women were recruited f.om the bl.od bank donors to verif. the f.equency of.f. l.iden, f.I and MTHf. as a control.group. The study was approved by the Committee on Ethics in Human Research of.Maternidade Escol. Assis Chateubriand and al. individual. gave their inf.rmed consent to participate in the study. Standard veinipuncture, with EDTA as anticoagul.nt, was used to col.ect bl.od sampl.s. Genomic DNA was extracted, soon af.er, using a sal.ing out method. Agarose gel.el.ctrophoresis with ethidium bromide staining was perf.rmed to ensure the qual.ty of.DNA extraction. Resul.s: The f.equencies of.f. l.iden and f.I mutation carrier were 0.99% (1/101) f.r both f.ctors in the preecl.mpsia patients and 1.86% (4/214) and 0.93% (2/214), respectivel., in control.group. Al. mutates were heterozygous and concomitance of.both mutations was not f.und. The genotype distribution of.the MTHf. C677T in the patients and control. f.equencies was in Hardy-Weinberg equil.brium (p ≤ 0.05). No statistical.dif.erence was observed between cases and control. in MTHf. genotypes or al.el.s.
