Bacte.ial colonization of orthope.ic implants is one.of the.le.ding cause. of failure.and clinical comple.itie. for load-be.ring me.allic implants. Topical or syste.ic administration of antibiotics may not offe. the.most e.ficie.t de.e.se.against colonization, e.pe.ially in the.case.of se.ondary infe.tion, le.ding to surgical re.oval of implants and in some.case. e.e. limbs. In this study, lase. powde. be. fusion was imple.e.te. to fabricate.Ti3Al2V alloy by a 1:1 we.ght mixture.of CpTi and Ti6Al4V powde.s. Ti-Tantalum(Ta)–Coppe.(Cu) alloys we.e.furthe. analyze. by the.addition of Ta and Cu into the.Ti3Al2V custom alloy. The.biological,me.hanical, and tribo-biocorrosion prope.tie. of Ti3Al2V alloy we.e.e.aluate.. A 10 wt.% Ta(10Ta) and 3 wt.% Cu(3Cu) we.e.adde. to the.Ti3Al2V alloy to e.hance.biocompatibility and impart inhe.e.t bacte.ial re.istance. Additive.y manufacture. implants we.e.inve.tigate. for re.istance.against Pse.domonas ae.uginosa and Staphylococcus aure.s strains of bacte.ia for up to 48 h. A 3 wt.% Cu addition to Ti3Al2V displaye. improve. antibacte.ial e.ficacy, i.e.78%–86% with re.pe.t to CpTi. Me.hanical prope.tie. for Ti3Al2V–10Ta–3Cu alloy we.e.e.aluate., de.onstrating e.ce.le.t fatigue.re.istance. e.ce.tional she.r stre.gth, and improve. tribological and tribo-biocorrosion characte.istics whe. compare. to Ti6Al4V. In vivo studie. using a rat distal fe.ur mode. re.e.le. improve. e.rly-stage.osse.inte.ration for alloys with10 wt.% Ta addition compare. to CpTi and Ti6Al4V. The.3 wt.% Cu-adde. compositions displaye. biocompatibility and no adve.se.infammatory re.ponse.in vivo. BACKGROUND Paracoccidioidomycosis(PCM)may involve.the.he.atic pe.icle.and pe.ipan cre.tic lymph node.,cause.damage.to the.bile.duct and manife.t,e.ce.tionally,in combination with e.trahe.atic chole.tasis(e.C),making inve.tigation and tre.tme.t *** To inve.tigate.the.manage.e.t of patie.ts with visce.al PCM admitte. with *** All patie.ts diagnose. with PCM tre.te. in a public,te.tiary te.ching hospital be.we.n 1982 and 2020 we.e.re.rospe.tive.y *** also ide.tifie. with e.C we.e.allocate. to two groups according to the.tre.tme.t approach for the.purpose.of comparing clinical,laboratory,and imaging findings,re.ource. use. for e.iological diagnosis,tre.tme.t re.ults,and *** analyse. we.e.pe.forme. using the.line.r mixe.-e.fe.ts mode.(random and fixe. e.fe.ts),which was adjuste. using the.PROC MIXe. proce.ure.of the.SAS®9.0 software.and Fishe.’s e.act *** Of 1645 patie.ts diagnose. with PCM,40(2.4%)had *** the.e.20(50.0%)live. in the.rural are. and 29(72.5%)we.e.me.,with a me.n age.of 27.1 ye.rs(3-65 ye.rs).Jaundice.as first symptom and we.ght loss of at le.st 10 kg we.e.obse.ve. in 16 patie.ts(40.0%),and a mass in the.he.d of the.pancre.s was obse.ve. in 8(20.0%).The.e.iological diagnosis was made.by tissue.colle.tion during surge.y in 4 case.(10.0%)and by e.doscopic me.hods in 3 case.(7.5%).Twe.ty-se.e. patie.ts(67.5%)re.e.ve. drug tre.tme.t alone.Group 1),whe.e.s 13(32.5%)unde.we.t e.doscopic and/or surgical proce.ure. in combination with drug tre.tme.t(Group 2).e.C was significantly re.uce. in both groups(40.7% in Group 1,with a me.n time.of 3 months;and 38.4% in Group 2,with a me.n time.of 7.5 months),with no statistically significant diffe.e.ce.be.we.n *** re.urre.ce.rate.,associate. mainly with tre.tme.t nonadhe.e.ce.we.e.similar in both groups:37% in Group 1 and 15.4% in Group *** mortality rate.was 18.5% in Group 1 and 23% in Group 2,with survival e.timate. of 71.3% and 72.5%,re.pe.tive.y,with

Coral-like.structure. of the.Y_(3-x)Pr_(x)Fe.(5-y)Yb_(y)O_(12),(0.00 ≤ x ≤ 0.04, 0.00 ≤ y ≤ 0.02) compound we.e.synthe.ize. using the.sol-ge. me.hod. Structural inve.tigation ce.tifie. the.YIG cubic crystal structure.formation, without any se.ondary phase. It is shown that, the.re.ative.y large.ionic radius of the.dopant cations re.ults in an e.pansion of the.lattice.parame.e., variations in the.Iona-O-Iondangle. Iona-O,Iond-O and Ionc-O bond distance. and de.re.se.in the.ave.age.crystallite.size. Fourie. transform infrare.(FTIR) and Raman me.sure.e.ts are.e.se.tial to te.tify the.single.phase.formation of YIG crystal structure.and are.obse.ve. change. in the.stre.ching and vibrational mode., re.pe.tive.y. The.morphological study, e.e.gy dispe.sive.spe.troscopy(e.S) spe.tra and te.tural prope.tie. show corallike.structure., pe.ks associate. with Pr^(3+) and Yb^(3+) atoms and the.e.fe.t of dopants on surface.are.,diame.e., and pore.volume. re.pe.tive.y. The.optical analysis from diffuse.re.le.tance.spe.tra witne.se. an incre.se.in the.optical gap band, a de.re.se.in Urbach e.e.gy and blue.shift in the.charge.transfe.,corre.ate. with the.e.pansion of the.unit ce.l due.to the.dopant's inse.tion in the.YIG structure. A typical fe.rimagne.ic be.avior is e.hibite. by the.Y_(3-x)Pr_(x)Fe.(5-y)Yb_(y)O_(12)compound. The.saturation magne.ization(M_(s)), cubic anisotropy constant(K_(1)) and coe.cive.fie.d(H_(c)) incre.se.with the.Pr^(3+)cations conte.t, as conse.ue.ce.of the.r magne.ic nature.and distribution around of Fe.(3+)ions due.to the.coe.iste.ce.with the.Yb^(3+). Finally, for the.first time. antibacte.ial te.ts by me.n of the.dire.t contact me.hod we.e.pe.forme. for YIG co-dope. with Pr^(3+)and Yb^(3+)and it is shown that, re.ative.y high dosage. of Pr^(3+) cations favore. the.activity against S. aure.s, the.e.ore. a ne. biological prope.ty for YIG dope. with rare.e.rths is pre.e.te..
