Background:Meeting the 24-Hour Movement Guidelines(physical activity,screen time,and sleep duration) has been associated with positive health ***,there are no previous meta-analyses that have examined the overall adherence to the 24-Hour Movement Guidelines from pre-school to adolescence across the ***,the main purpose of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to examine the overall(non)adherence to the 24-Hour Movement Guidelines among preschoolers,children,and adolescents ***:Four electronic databases(MEDLINE,Scopus,Web of Science,and Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews) were searched for quantitative studies published in Spanish and English between January 2016 and May *** that were conducted with apparently healthy participants and reported the overall(non)adherence to the 24-Hour Movement Guidelines in preschoolers and/or children and/or adolescents were ***:Sixty-three studies comprising 387,437 individuals(51% girls) aged 3-18 years from 23 countries were ***,7.12%(95%confidence interval(95%CI):6.45%-7.78%) of youth met all three 24-Hour Movement Guidelines,and 19.21%(95%CI:16.73%-21.69%)met none of the 3 *** sex,adherence to all recommendations was significantly lower in girls(3.75%,95%CI:3.23%-4.27%) than in boys(6.89%,95%CI:5.89%-7.89%)(p <0.001).However,there were no sex differences regarding adherence to any of the 3 individual recommendations(girls,15.66%,95%CI:8.40%-22.92%;boys,12.95%,95%CI:6.57%-19.33%).In terms of age group,adherence to the 3 recommendations was 11.26%(95%CI:8.68%-13.84%),10.31%(95%CI:7.49%-13.12%),and 2.68%(95%CI:1.78%-3.58%) in preschoolers,children,and adolescents,***,8.81%(95%CI:5.97%-11.64%) of preschoolers,15.57%(95%CI:11.60%-19.54%) of children,and 28.59%(95%CI:22.42%-34.75%) of adolescents did not meet any of the *** America was the region with the lowest adherence(all:2.93%;none:3

Odontogenic tumours are a heterogeneous group of lesions that develop in the oral cavity region and are characterized by the formation of tumoural structures that differentiate as teeth. Due to the diversity of their histopathological characteristics and clinical behaviour, the classification of these tumours is still under debate. Alterations in morphogenesis pathways such as the Hedgehog,MAPK and WNT/β-catenin pathways are implicated in the formation of odontogenic lesions, but the molecular bases of many of these lesions are still unknown. In this study, we used genetically modified mice to study the role of IKKβ(a fundamental regulator of NF-κB activity and many other proteins) in oral epithelial cells and odontogenic tissues. Transgenic mice overexpressing IKKβ in oral epithelial cells show a significant increase in immune cells in both the oral epithelia and oral submucosa. They also show changes in the expression of several proteins and mi RNAs that are important for cancer development. Interestingly, we found that overactivity of IKKβ in oral epithelia and odontogenic tissues, in conjunction with the loss of tumour suppressor proteins(p53, or p16 and p19), leads to the appearance of odontogenic tumours that can be classified as ameloblastic odontomas, sometimes accompanied by foci of secondary ameloblastic carcinomas. These tumours show NF-κB activation and increased β-catenin *** findings may help to elucidate the molecular determinants of odontogenic tumourigenesis and the role of IKKβ in the homoeostasis and tumoural transformation of oral and odontogenic epithelia.

The aim of this study was to evaluate injectable,in situ cross-linkable elastin-like recombinamers(ELRs)for osteochondral *** the ELR-based hydrogel alone and the ELR-based hydrogel embedded with rabbit mesenchymal stromal cells(rMSCs)were tested for the regeneration of critical subchondral defects in 10 New Zealand ***,cylindrical osteochondral defects were filled with an aqueous solution of ELRs and the animals sacrificed at 4months for histological and gross evaluation of features of biomaterial performance,including integration,cellular infiltration,surrounding matrix quality and the new matrix in the *** both approaches helped cartilage regeneration,the results suggest that the specific composition of the rMSC-containing hydrogel permitted adequate bone regeneration,whereas the ELR-based hydrogel alone led to an excellent regeneration of hyaline *** conclusion,the ELR cross-linker solution can be easily delivered and forms a stable well-integrated hydrogel that supports infiltration and de novo matrix synthesis.

This article describes a study on a non-thermal plasma device to treat exhaust gases in an internal combustion engine. Several tests using a plasma device to treat exhaust gases are conducted on a Honda GX200- 196 cm3 engine at different rotational speeds. A plasma reactor could be efficient in degrading nitrogen oxides and particulate matter. Monoxide and carbon dioxide treatment is minimal. However, achieving 1%-3% degradation may be interesting to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases.

The goal of this research was to develop a digital system that could allow managing electronic medical records (EMRs) codified under specifications of the Health Level 7/Clinical Document Architecture (HL7/CDA) international standard, and saving them in a portable digital storage device called iButton?. To this end, an USB-based hardware interface for reading and storing EMRs in iButtons was designed and implemented. In addition, a software application for invoking read/write operations on stored EMRs and showing their content on a graphical user interface was also developed, following the Extreme Programming (XP) software development methodology and using Visual Basic .NET as programming language. Tests conducted on the hardware interface showed that it was able to recognize any iButton type, reading and writing data on them as well. Moreover, the system helped in creating empty EMRs in conformance with the HL7/CDA standard, adding and viewing information, and updating it in the iButton. This system offers an easy way for managing and visualizing medical records codified in HL7/CDA, and allows patients to take their updated medical history with them everywhere.

＜正＞ This study has pharmacologically characterized the receptors involved in the vasopressor responses induced by clonidine, moxonidine and rilmenidine in pithed rats. For this purpose, Wistar rats were anesthetised, pithed and prepared for the measurement of blood pressure. Intravenous （i.v.） bolus injections of clonidine, moxonidine, rilmenidine and B-HT933 produced dose dependent increases in blood pressure, which were unaffected by saline. The vasopressor responses to clonidine and moxonidine, but not those to rilmenidine or B-HT933, were blocked by prazosin. Interestingly, the vasopressor responses to clonidine, rilmenidine and B-HT933, but not to those to moxonidine. were antagonized by rauwolscine. In all cases, the combination of prazosin plus rauwolscine produced a blockade similar to that produced when the antagonists were given separately. These results suggest that the vasopressor responses to: （1） rilmenidine and B-HT 933 are mainly mediated by alpha2- adrenoceptors;（2） moxonidine may involve alphal-adrenoceptors;and （3） clonidine are mediated by alphal/2-adrenocep-tors.

Most of the toxicity data presented in the literature are obtained in relatively simple media, like distilled water. The literature reported that nanoparticles agglomerate immediately upon being added to cell culture media and if the agglomerates are used directly in antimicrobial studies, the interpretation of the toxicity results tends to be complicated. Six different molar ratios Ag-TiO2 composites were synthesized by a reduction method using two different commercial TiO2 particles as base materials and were used to find the aggregate size in distilled water and Mueller-Hinton Broth, and to obtain the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) against E. coli and E. faecalis. To evaluate the evolution of the Ag-TiO2 particle size (z-average) three dilutions of each of the synthesized composites 100 μg/ml, 250 μg/mL and 500 μg/ml were realized in deionized water and Mueller Hinton broth. It was found that Ag-TiO2 composites increased in size after being diluted in Mueller-Hinton Broth, but once they grew in size, they remained constant for 24 minutes, and after this time, did not affect the MIC for the microorganisms involved.
