Ba.KGROUND Pa.a.occidioidomycosis(PCM)ma. involve the hepa.ic pedicle a.d peripa. crea.ic lymph nodes,ca.se da.a.e to the bile duct a.d ma.ifest,exceptiona.ly,in combina.ion with extra.epa.ic cholesta.is(EHC),ma.ing investiga.ion a.d trea.ment *** To investiga.e the ma.a.ement of pa.ients with viscera. PCM a.mitted with *** a.l pa.ients dia.nosed with PCM trea.ed in a.public,tertia.y tea.hing hospita. between 1982 a.d 2020 were retrospectively *** a.so identified with EHC were a.loca.ed to two groups a.cording to the trea.ment a.proa.h for the purpose of compa.ing clinica.,la.ora.ory,a.d ima.ing findings,resources used for etiologica. dia.nosis,trea.ment results,a.d *** a.a.yses were performed using the linea. mixed-effects model(ra.dom a.d fixed effects),which wa. a.justed using the PROC MIXED procedure of the Sa.®9.0 softwa.e,a.d Fisher’s exa.t *** Of 1645 pa.ients dia.nosed with PCM,40(2.4%)ha. *** these,20(50.0%)lived in the rura. a.ea.a.d 29(72.5%)were men,with a.mea. a.e of 27.1 yea.s(3-65 yea.s).Ja.ndice a. first symptom a.d weight loss of a. lea.t 10 kg were observed in 16 pa.ients(40.0%),a.d a.ma.s in the hea. of the pa.crea. wa. observed in 8(20.0%).The etiologica. dia.nosis wa. ma.e by tissue collection during surgery in 4 ca.es(10.0%)a.d by endoscopic methods in 3 ca.es(7.5%).Twenty-seven pa.ients(67.5%)received drug trea.ment a.one(Group 1),wherea. 13(32.5%)underwent endoscopic a.d/or surgica. procedures in combina.ion with drug trea.ment(Group 2).EHC wa. significa.tly reduced in both groups(40.7% in Group 1,with a.mea. time of 3 months;a.d 38.4% in Group 2,with a.mea. time of 7.5 months),with no sta.istica.ly significa.t difference between *** recurrence ra.es,a.socia.ed ma.nly with trea.ment nona.herence,were simila. in both groups:37% in Group 1 a.d 15.4% in Group *** morta.ity ra.e wa. 18.5% in Group 1 a.d 23% in Group 2,with surviva. estima.es of 71.3% a.d 72.5%,respectively,with

We present a.method to fa.rica.e ha.dcra.ted thermoelectric devices on sta.da.d office pa.er *** devices a.e ba.ed on thin films of WS_(2),Te,a.d BP(P-type semiconductors)a.d TiS_(3)a.d TiS_(2)(N-type semiconductors),deposited by simply rubbing powder of these ma.eria.s a.a.nst *** thermoelectric properties of these semiconducting films revea.ed ma.imum Seebeck coefficients of(+1.32±0.27)mV K^(-1)a.d(-0.82±0.15)mV K^(-1)for WS_(2)a.d TiS_(3),***,Peltier elements were fa.rica.ed by interconnecting the P-a.d N-type films with gra.hite electrodes.a.thermopower va.ue up to 6.11 mV K^(-1)wa. obta.ned when the Peltier element were constructed with three *** findings of this work show proof-of-concept devices to illustra.e the potentia. a.plica.ion of semiconducting va. der Wa.ls ma.eria.s in future thermoelectric power genera.ion a. well a. tempera.ure sensing for low-cost disposa.le electronic devices.
