Background The positive influence of most types of exercise has been reported repeatedly,but what the most effective exercise approaches are for improving health-related quality of life(HRQoL)in people with cancer remains *** aim of this systematic review and network meta-analysis was to synthesize the evidence from intervention studies to assess the effects of different types of exercise on HRQoL during and after cancer *** MEDLINE,SPORTDiscus,the Cochrane Library,Web of Science,and Scopus were searched for randomized controlled trials aimed at testing the effects of exercise interventions meant to improve HRQoL in people with *** analyses were conducted for HRQoL as measured by general and cancer-specific *** also evaluated whether the effects of exercise were different during and after cancer treatment in both the physical and mental HRQoL *** In total,93 studies involving 7435 people with cancer were *** effect size estimates comparing exercise intervention *** care were significant for combined exercise(0.35,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.14–0.56)for HRQoL as measured by general questionnaires,and for combined(0.31,95%CI:0.13–0.48),mind–body exercise(0.54,95%CI:0.18–0.89),and walking(0.39,95%CI:0.04–0.74)for HRQoL as measured by cancer-specific *** Exercise programs combining aerobic and resistance training can be recommended to improve HRQoL during and after cancer *** scarcity and heterogeneity of these studies prevents us from making recommendations about other exercise modalities due to insufficient evidence.

AIM To identify short-term and oncologic outcomes of pelvic exenterations(PE) for locally advanced primary rectal cancer(LAPRC) in patients included in a national prospective *** Few studies report on PE in patients with LAPRC. For this study, we included PE for LAPRC performed between 2006 and 2017, as available, from the Rectal Cancer Registry of the Spanish Association of Surgeons [Asociación Espa?ola de Cirujanos(AEC)]. Primary endpoints included procedure-associated complications, 5-year local recurrence(LR), disease-free survival(DFS) and overall survival(OS). A propensitymatched comparison with patients who underwent non-exenterative surgery for low rectal cancers was performed as a secondary *** Eight-two patients were included. The mean age was 61.8 ± 11.5 years. More than half of the patients experienced at least one complication. Surgical site infections were the most common complication(abdominal wound 18.3%, perineal closure 19.4%). Thirty-three multivisceral resections were performed, including two hepatectomies and four metastasectomies. The long-term outcomes of the 64 patients operated on before 2013 were assessed. The five-year LR was 15.6%, the distant recurrence rate was 21.9%, and OS was 67.2%, with a mean survival of 43.8 mo. R+ve resection increased LR [hazard ratio(HR) = 5.58, 95%CI: 1.04-30.07, P = 0.04]. The quality of the mesorectum was associated with DFS. Perioperative complications were independent predictors of shorter survival(HR = 3.53, 95%CI: 1.12-10.94, P = 0.03). In the propensity-matched analysis, PE was associated with better quality of the specimen and tended to achieve lower LR with similar *** PE is an extensive procedure, justified if disease-free margins can be obtained. Further studies should define indications, accreditation policy, and quality of life in LAPRC.

The aim of this study was to analyse the rate and content of 10,430 messages,sent by 21 handball coaches in 21 matches,in relation to score and match *** situations were defined as regards score:large victory,tight game,and large defeat;and four phases for match phase:part 1 and 2 of first half,and part 1 and 2 of second *** rates were calculated by dividing the number of messages sent at each level of score and match phase by the elapsed *** calculate the content,messages were coded using Coach Analysis and Intervention System and percentages were calculated according to score and match ***-square analysis showed statistically significant differences for rate of messages by score(χ^(2)=211.06,df=2,sigdelines to increase the quality of coaches’speech.

The purpose of the research is to analyze the new Spanish law of Traffic, which no longer permits exceeding by up to 20 km/hour the generic speed limits when overtaking on conventional roads. In this research, deterministic and random models are developed to analyze the associated safety risks. The deterministic model highlights the importance of dimensional analysis and provides dimensionless abacuses to analyze the problem. Next, Bayesian networks and Bayesian models are used to build a random model from the previous one, providing a general method to convert deterministic into random models. In addition, the problems of ignoring the dimensions of the variables and parameters are discussed, a common mistake to be corrected. Some examples and multidimensional graphics illustrate the huge reduction in safety and the need to review the existing end of prohibition signs, most of which must be removed. Shortly, the research results show that the distance required for overtaking with safety increases drastically.

The Global Reaction Model describes a set of chemical reactions that can potentially occur during the process of obtaining silicon rich oxide (SRO) films, regardless of the technique used to grow such films which are an outside stoichiometry material. Particularly, chemical reactions that occur during the process of growing of SRO films by LPCVD technique are highlighted in this model. We suggest and evaluate either some types of molecules or resulting nanostructures and we predict theoretically, by applying the density functional theory, the contribution that they may have to the phenomenon of luminescence which is measured in SRO films. Also, we have calculated the opto-electronic properties of SRO films. The suggested model provides enough information required to identify the molecular structures resulting from the presence of defects in SRO films and also those corresponding to charged structures. It is also possible to detect the molecular structures which are modified due to the effect of heat treatment, and identify the presence of different oxidation states inclusive the formation of siloxanes.

This paper analyzes the viability of a new microcogeneration system with a Stirling engine micro-CHP(combined heat and power)and renewable solar energy:thermal and photovoltaic system,using accumulation system for hot water and ion lithium batteries for electricity.A weather station gives real meteorological parameters for Mediterranean climate(Málaga,Spain).A control unit permits to have a full automated system,which works according to a *** controller also allows theorizing a demand profile curve of daily consumption,typical for this or other *** studies analyse different kinds of combined systems by simulating or making the real installation to obtain results for either microcogeneration or solar power,but not together,*** heating applications to obtain a constant consumption of hot *** new system shows a new combination of resources(natural gas in Stirling and solar energy systems),and the implementation allows doing experiments with different profiles of consumption to have real,non-theoretical,*** control system is self-governing:it connects the different supplies of energy(solar thermal,photovoltaic,Stirling or batteries)depending on the demand,this demand can be changed by simulating any profile:domestic(heat and power),business,low thermal demand,low electricity demand,etc.
