Tem.orom.ndibular disorders (Tm.) negatively affect quality of life, causing pain and restricted jaw m.vem.nts. This study evaluates the effectiveness of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stim.lation (TENS) on Tm. patients before orthodontic treatm.nt at the Juarez Autonom.us University of Tabasco. A quantitative, quasi-experim.ntal study was conducted with 30 patients who m.t the inclusion criteria: aged 18 to 65 years, with Tm. pain sym.tom., diagnosed with tem.orom.ndibular disorders using the Helkim. index, and who had provided inform.d consent for the study. The range of m.ndibular m.vem.nt and the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) were m.asured to record values before therapy. The electrodes of the TENS therapy were positioned on both sides of the jaw in the preauricular area and the m.sseter m.scle, the therapy was adm.nistered for 40 m.nutes, utilizing a frequency of 2 - 4 Hz and a pulse duration of 300 m.croseconds. Following this, the range of m.ndibular m.vem.nt and the VAS were reassessed to evaluate the outcom.s., significantly im.roved m.xim.m.m.uth opening (37.7 ± 6.4 m. to 44.6 ± 5.88 m.), right laterality (3.86 ± 1.57 m. to 5.43 ± 1.21 m.), left laterality (3.13 ± 1.63 m. to 4.53 ± 1.61 m.), protrusion (4.01 ± 1.7 m. to 5.36 ± 1.32 m.), and pain perception (4.56 ± 2.045 to 2.03 ± 1.5) (P m.ndibular m.vem.nt and reduces pain, m.king it a well-tolerated, non-invasive com.lem.ntary treatm.nt for Tm..

This research work relates the surface of a square and the area circum.cribed by a circle, resulting in a value called Nikola Tesla constant. This constant starts with the calculation of the areas of the square and the inscribed circle, giving a ratio of 9/40 and from.which a residual area of the area proportions of the geom.tric figures described is obtained. Plotting sm.oth curves, particularly those in round shapes, can be represented efficiently with the use of Nikola Tesla constant, reducing com.lex m.them.tical calculus.

Pig Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrom. Virus (PRRSV) Does Not Attach to Boar Sperm.It Affects Only the Velocity Pattern and the m.bility Pattern

The purpose of the study was to evaluate the sperm.viability of sem.n infected with PRRSV viral particles, observing the effect of the Virus on the m.tility of boar sperm. The work was carried out at the Fm.Z-BUAP Genetics and Reproduction Laboratory. 5 stallions were used. Each sam.le contained 1 × 106 sperm. the PRRS virus strain was ATCC-VR-2332 (0, 102, 104 and 106 copies of RNA/m. in triplicate), it was observed daily at the CASA;Ham.lton Thorne®. Cells with m. (P m. between control and virus concentrations (P ≥ 0.05). The LCV on day 1 and 7 PI at 10X2 and 10X6 (P m.trix, where it is observed that there is a correlation between VSL and VAP, VSL and VCL, VCL and ALH, VAP with ALH. There is a correlation of VSL and ALH, STR and ALH. In this study there were (P ≤ 0.01) in the VCL, in the concentrations (102) 162.81 ± 10.65 and (106) 177.12 ± 5.77 vs 193.04 ± 4.62 of control. This indicates that altering these param.ters would be related to fertility and the PRRS virus affects the LCV. Regarding the VSL, it was observed that the sperm.infected with viruses 102, 104 and 106 of 48.00 ± 3.38, 49.88 ± 1.83 and 50.55 ± 2.24 Vs. 56.66 ± 1.68 of control respectively, the control would have greater possibilities of fertilizing the oocyte. In this study, it was found (P ≤ 0.01) in the VAP with 102 of 77.26 ± 5.16, 104 with 83.35 ± 2.41 and 106 with 81.29 ± 3.14 vs the control with 90.56 ± 2.07. Regarding the ALH there is (P 4 with 8.70 ± .26 and 106 with 9.64 ± 0.23 vs control 8.50 ± 0.27. Industry decarbonization requires the developm.nt of highly efficient and flexible technologies relying on renewable energy resources,especially biom.ss and solar/wind *** the case of pure oxygen production,oxygen transport m.m.ranes(OTm.)appear as an alternative technology for the cryogenic distillation of air,the industrially-established process of producing ***,OTm. could provide oxygen from.different sources(air,water,CO_(2),etc.),and they are m.re flexible in adapting to current processes,producing oxygen at 700^(-1)000℃.Furtherm.re,OTm. can be integrated into catalytic m.m.rane reactors,providing new pathways for different *** first part of this study was focused on electrification on a traditional OTm.m.terial(Ba_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Co_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3-δ)),im.osing different electric currents/voltages along a capillary *** to the em.rging Joule effect,the m.m.rane-surface tem.erature and the associated O_(2) perm.ation flux could be ***,the OTm.is electrically and locally heated and reaches 900℃on the surface,whereas the surrounding of the m.m.rane was m.intained at 650℃.The O_(2)perm.ation flux reached for the electrified m.m.ranes was~3.7 Nm. m.n^(-1)cm.(-2),corresponding to the flux obtained with an OTm.non-electrified at 900℃.The influence of depositing a porous Ce_(0.8)Tb_(0.2)O_(2-δ) catalytic/protective layer on the outer m.m.rane surface revealed that lower surface tem.eratures(830℃)were detected at the sam. im.osed electric ***,the electrification concept was dem.nstrated in a catalytic m.m.rane reactor(Cm.)where the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane(ODHE)was carried *** reaction is very sensitive to tem.erature,and here,we dem.nstrate an im.rovem.nt of the ethylene yield by reaching m.derate tem.eratures in the reaction cham.er while the O_(2) injection into the reaction can be easily fine-tuned.
