AIM: To study the possible association between chronic pancreatitis (CP) and liver cirrhosis (LC) of alcoholic etiology,after excluding any other ***: One hundred and forty consecutive alcoholic patients were subdivided into three groups: CP (n = 53),LC (n = 57),and asymptomatic alcoholic (n = 30).Clinical,biochemical and morphological characteristics,Child-Pugh index,indocyanine green test,and fecal pancreatic elastase-1 test were ***: In patients with cirrhosis,major clinical manifestations of CP such as pancreatic pain and steatorrhea,as well as imaging alterations of CP such as calcifications,duct dilation and pseudocysts were absent; insulin-dependent diabetes was present in 5.3% of cases,and elastase-1 test was altered in only 7%,and severely altered in *** patients with CP,clinical characteristics of cirrhosis such as ascites,encephalopathy and gastrointestinal hemorrhage were present in one case,Child-Pugh grade > A in 5.7%,and altered indocyanine green test in 1.9% *** asymptomatic alcoholism,there was only a non-coincident alteration of elastase-1 test and indocyanine test in 14.8% and 10%,respectively,but other characteristics of cirrhosis or CP were *** inverse correlation (r = -0.746) between elastase-1 test and indocyanine test was found in alcoholic ***: There is a scarce coincidence in clinical and morphological alterations among patients with CP or LC of alcoholic etiology,but an inverse correlation between pancreatic and liver function *** findings support that these alcoholic diseases evolve in a different manner and have different etiopathogenesis.

BACKGROUND Occult hepatitis C virus(HCV) infection(OCI) may be associated with extrahepatic diseases and it is known that the patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD) who are on hemodialysis(HD) present a higher prevalence of this type of infection than the general population, with a worse clinical ***, there are no data in the literature to assess the presence of OCI in patients prior to the initiation of renal replacement therapy(RRT). Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the occurrence and epidemiological aspects of OCI in patients with Predialysis CKD. We hypothesize that this infection could occur before RRT *** To research the status in predialysis patients when HD patients have high prevalence of *** A cross-sectional study was conducted between 2015 and 2017. Adults with creatinine clearance < 60 mL/min·1.73 m^2(predialysis patients) were recruited to the study. Pregnant and postpartum women, patients with glomerulopathies,and patients showing positivity for serological markers of hepatitis B virus(HBV), HCV or human immunodeficiency virus infection were excluded. Patients were diagnosed with OCI according to test results of anti-HCV antibody negativity and HCV RNA positivity in either ultracentrifuged serum or, if serumnegative, in peripheral blood mononuclear *** Among the 91 total patients included in the study, the prevalence of OCI was 16.5%. Among these 15 total OCI patients, 1 was diagnosed by 14 ultracentrifuged serum results and 14 were diagnosed by peripheral blood mononuclear cell results. 研究了不同体积掺量、随机取向的短钢纤维和聚丙烯短纤维对水泥砂浆性能的影响。试验结果表明:加入短钢纤维的水泥砂浆在断裂发生及达到最大荷载时,J积分值随纤维掺量的增加而增加,这是由于纤维的架桥效应提升了砂浆的抗变形能力,使纤维增强砂浆比普通砂浆能够承受更大的荷载。同时,钢纤维的弹性模量远高于砂浆,能够改善纤维增强砂浆的抗压强度和弹性模量。掺入聚丙烯短纤维能够明显改善水泥砂浆的韧性和弯曲强度,但由于聚合物纤维弹性模量较低,使得砂浆的抗压强度降低。

该研究评估缺血性脑卒中后新发血管事件（NVE）的风险以及脑卒中不同亚型的血管风险。连续入选三级脑卒中研究中心（tertiary stroke center）的非致死性脑卒中患者1002例，随访2～5年[（31．0±15．9）月]。NVE根据动脉粥样硬化患者大型多中心注册研究[降低动脉粥样硬化血栓形成的持续健康登记（REACH）]的标准来定义，包括血管性死亡、非致死性脑卒中或心肌梗死、因其他动脉粥样硬化事件导致的住院等。脑卒中不同亚型根据急性脑卒中治疗Org10172试验（SSS-TOAST）的标准进行分型，分为心源性脑卒中、大动脉粥样硬化性脑卒中、小动脉疾病、其他病因引发的缺血性脑卒中、未确定病因的缺血性脑卒中。最终入选748例，162例出现NVE，发生率为0．084／人年。多因素回归分析结果显示，NVE风险与动脉粥样硬化程度（1、2个血管区域受影响）和3种脑卒中亚型[心源性脑卒中（HR2．58，95％CI1．27～5．22）、大动脉粥样硬化性脑卒中（4．17，95％CI2．03～8．56）、其他病因引发的缺血性脑卒中（5．70，95％CI2．49～13．08）]相关。小动脉疾病和未确定病因的脑卒中NVE风险较低。总之，缺血性脑卒中患者NVE风险增加，脑卒中不同亚型的NVE风险不同。
