The paper develops and employs analytical-numerical solution method for the study of the time-harmonic dynamic stress field in the system consisting of the hollow cylinder and surrounding elastic medium under the non-axisymmetric forced vibration of this *** is assumed that in the interior of the hollow cylinder the point-located with respect to the cylinder axis,non-axisymmetric with respect to the circumferential direction and uniformly distributed time-harmonic forces *** boundary value problem is solved by employing of the exponential Fourier transformation with respect to the axial coordinate and by employing of the Fourier series expansion of these *** results on the frequency response of the interface normal stresses are presented and discussed.

In this paper, we first formulate a second-order multiobjective symmetric primal-dual pair over arbitrary cones by introducing two different functions f ： R^n × R^m → Rk and g ： R^n × R^m → R^l in each k-objectives as well as l-constraints. Further, appropriate duality relations are established under second-order（F, α, ρ, d）-convexity assumptions. A nontrivial example which is second-order（F, α, ρ, d）-convex but not secondorder convex/F-convex is also illustrated. Moreover, a second-order minimax mixed integer dual programs is formulated and a duality theorem is established using second-order（F, α, ρ, d）-convexity assumptions. A self duality theorem is also obtained by assuming the functions involved to be skew-symmetric.

Methoprene （an analogue of juvenile hormone） application and feeding on a protein diet is known to enhance male melon fly, Bactrocera cucurbitae Coquillett （diptera： Tephritidae）, mating success. In this study, we investigated the effect of these treatments on male B. cucurbitae＇s ability to inhibit female remating. While 14-d-old females were fed on protein diet, 6-d-old males were exposed to one of the following treatments：（i） topical application of methoprene and fed on a protein diet; （ii） no methoprene but fed on a protein diet; （iii） methoprene and sugar-fed only; and （iv） sugar-fed, 14-d-old males acted as controls. Treatments had no effect on a male＇s ability to depress the female remating receptivity in comparison to the control. Females mated with protein-deprived males showed higher remating receptivity than females first mated with protein-fed males. Methoprene and protein diet interaction had a positive effect on male mating success during the first and second mating of females. Significantly more females first mated with sugar-fed males remated with protein-fed males and females first mated with methoprene treated and protein-fed males were more likely to remate with similarly treated males. Females mating latency （time to start mating） was significantly shorter with protein-fed males, and mating duration was significantly longer with protein-fed males compared with protein-deprived males. These results are discussed in the context of methoprene and/or dietary protein as prerelease treatment of sterile males in area-wide control of melon fly integrating the sterile insect technique （SIT）.

despite their potential for providing important information for paleobiogeography,studies using ostracod assemblages compiled from global datasets have been scarce so *** this study,the paleogeographic implications of the relationship between different ostracod assemblages are analyzed and discussed for the Albian and *** compiled an ostracod dataset at the genus level,with 168 genera for the Albian and 174 for the Cenomanian,to which different multivariate statistical methods of grouping were *** affinity between different ostracod assemblages from different regions allowed for the delineation of 30 operational geographic units(OGUs)for the Albian,and 32 OGUs for the Cenomanian,grouped in three paleobiogeographic units(PBUs;Megatethys,Persia,and Austral)and one sub-unit(PBSU;Maghreb associated to the Megatethys).The Maghreb PBSU showed minor changes between the Albian and *** relationship among the OGUs grouped in each PBU is related to different factors,such as eustatic sea level events,similar climatic zones,and marine current circulation patterns.A relationship was observed between the Gabon and Nigeria OGUs with the Persia PBU,which suggests a direct east—west connection between them during the *** affinity observed in the Austral PBU between the South American,South African,and Australian regions during the Albian can be explained by their relative geographic isolation due to the Walvis Ridge *** eventual flooding of this barrier led to the relationship observed between the SE Brazilian and Bolivian regions with the Austral ***,the data also suggested that the separation of the Indian subcontinent from the Austral PBU took place during the Cenomanian.

Recent studies have shown that global translational reprogramming is an early activation event in pattern-triggered immunity,when plants recognize microbe-associated molecular ***,it is not fully known whether translational regulation also occurs in subsequent immune responses,such as effector-triggered immunity(ETI).In this study,we performed genome-wide ribosome profiling in Arabidopsis upon RPS2-mediated ETI activation and discovered that specific groups of genes were translationally regulated,mostly in coordination with *** genes encode enzymes involved in aromatic amino acid,phenylpropanoid,camalexin,and sphingolipid *** functional significance of these components in ETI was confirmed by genetic and biochemical *** findings provide new insights into diverse translational regulation of plant immune responses and demonstrate that translational coordination of metabolic gene expression is an important strategy for ETI.

AIM To assess whether higher sensitivity of colonic epithelium to hypoxia at the serosal side is associated with oxygen transfer *** Rats were fed either with normal chow or a lowsodium diet. Tissues were mounted as flat sheets in a modified, airtight Ussing chamber with oxygen meters in each hemichamber. Mucosal samples from normal diet animals were studied under control conditions, in low-chloride solution and after adding chloride secretion inhibitors and chloride secretagogues. Samples from sodium-deprived rats were studied before and after ouabain addition. In separate experiments, the correlation between short-circuit current and oxygen consumption was analyzed. Finally, hypoxia was induced in one hemichamber to assess the relationship between its oxygen content and the oxygen pressure differencebetween both hemichambers. RESULTS In all studied conditions, oxygen consumption was larger in the serosal hemichamber than in the mucosal one(P = 0.0025 to P d significant correlation with both total oxygen consumption(r = 0.765; P = 0.009) in normoxia and oxygen consumption in the serosal hemichamber(r = 0.754; P = 0.011) during mucosal hypoxia, but not with oxygen consumption in the mucosal hemichamber. When hypoxia was induced in the mucosal hemichamber, an oxygen pressure difference of 13 k Pa with the serosal hemichamber was enough to keep its oxygen content constant. However, when hypoxia was induced in the serosal hemichamber, the oxygen pressure difference with the mucosal hemichamber necessary to keep its oxygen content constant was 40 k Pa(P dily available to support short-circuit current. This may be partly due to a rectifying behavior of transepithelial oxygen transfer.

Background:A key step in gene expression is the recognition of the stop codon to terminate translation at the correct ***,it has been observed that ribosomes can misinterpret the stop codon and continue the translation in the 3′UTR *** phenomenon is called stop codon read-through(SCR).It has been suggested that these events would occur on a programmed basis,but the underlying mechanisms are still not well ***:Here,we present a strategy for the comprehensive identification of SCR events in the drosophila melanogaster transcriptome by evaluating the ribosomal density *** associated ribosomal leak rate was estimated for every event identified.A statistical characterization of the frequency of nucleotide use in the proximal region to the stop codon in the sequences associated to SCR events was ***:The results show that the nucleotide usage pattern in transcripts with the UGA codon is different from the pattern for those transcripts ending in the UAA codon,suggesting the existence of at least two mechanisms that could alter the translational termination ***,a linear regression models for each of the three stop codons was developed,and we show that the models using the nucleotides at informative positions outperforms those models that consider the entire sequence context to the stop ***:We report that distal nucleotides can affect the SCR rate in a stop-codon dependent manner.
