In recent years,metal halide perovskites have received significant attention as materials for next-generation optoelectronic devices owing to their excellent optoelectronic *** unprecedented rapid evolution in the device performance has been achieved by gaining an advanced understanding of the composition,crystal growth,and defect engineering of *** device performances approach their theoretical limits,effective optical management becomes essential for achieving higher *** this review,we discuss the status and perspectives of nano to micron-scale patterning methods for the optical management of perovskite optoelectronic *** initially discuss the importance of effective light harvesting and light outcoupling via optical ***,the recent progress in various patterning/texturing techniques applied to perovskite optoelectronic devices is summarized by categorizing them into top-down and bottom-up ***,we discuss the perspectives of advanced patterning/texturing technologies for the development and commercialization of perovskite optoelectronic devices.

Phosphorus doped silicon-carbon composite particles were synthesized through a DC arc plasma ***(SiH4) and methane(CH4) were introduced into the reaction chamber as the precursor of silicon and carbon,***(PH3) was used as a phosphorus dopant *** of synthesized particles were carried out by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffractometry(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and bulk resistivity *** properties were investigated by cyclic test and electrochemical voltage spectroscopy(EVS).In the experimental range,phosphorus doped silicon-carbon composite electrode exhibits enhanced cycle performance than intrinsic silicon and phosphorus doped *** can be explained that incorporation of carbon into silicon acts as a buffer matrix and phosphorus doping plays an important role to enhance the conductivity of the electrode,which leads to the improvement of the cycle performance of the cell.

In moths,various enzymes,such as fatty acid synthases,fatty acyl desaturases,and fatty acyl reductases(FARs),are involved in pheromone *** particular,pheromone gland-specific FAR(pgFAR)plays an important role in converting the functional group from carboxylic to alcohol during pheromone biosynthesis.A novel pgFAR of Maruca vitrata,Mvi-pgFAR,was identified through transcriptome sequencing of its pheromone *** investigate the involvement of Mvi-pgFAR in pheromone biosynthesis,Mvi-pgFAR was cloned from the pheromone gland and suppressed by RNA interference(RNAi).Mvi-pgFAR harbored several conserved motifs related to NAD(P)H-binding,N-glycosylation,and adenosine/guanosine triphosphate *** analysis revealed that Mvi-pgFAR with other lepidopteran pgFARs formed an independent ***-pgFAR was specifically expressed only in the pheromone *** real-time polymerase chain reaction showed that the diurnal expression levels of Mvi-pgFAR in the pheromone gland were the highest at 2 h before the *** primarily confirming Mvi-pgFAR suppression by RNAi,(E,E)-10,12-hexadecadienal(E10E12-16:Ald),a major sex pheromone component,was quantified by gas *** Mvi-pgFAR was successfully suppressed,E10E12-16:Ald production was reduced by up to half of that of the control,and the mating rate was subsequently *** results demonstrate that Mvi-pgFAR downregulation can suppress mating behavior by changing the relative sex pheromone component ratio,suggesting that Mvi-pgFAR can be used as a novel control target.

Port site hernia develops through a fascial or peritoneal layer that was inadequate or not repaired. It is a rare complication of laparoscopic surgery which may lead to serious problems. Here,we present a 77-year-old female,diagnosed with a small bowel hernia through a 10-mm port site. We had performed ten cases of laparoscopy-assisted distal gastrectomy before this case. The patient complained of left lower abdominal pain with a palpable mass. Abdominal CT showed an incarcerated small bowel hernia and the patient underwent segmental resection of the strangulated small bowel through a minimally extended port site incision.

Protein biogenesis is a complex process,and complexity is greatly increased in eukaryotic cells through specific targeting of proteins to different *** direct targeting,organellar proteins carry an organelle-specific targeting signal for recognition by organelle-specific import ***,the situation is confusing for transmembrane domain(TMD)-containing signalanchored(SA)proteins of various organelles because TMDs function as an endoplasmic reticulum(ER)targeting *** ER targeting of SA proteins is well understood,how they are targeted to mitochondria and chloroplasts remains ***,we investigated how the targeting specificity of SA proteins is determined for specific targeting to mitochondria and *** targeting requires multiple motifs around and within TMDs:a basic residue and an arginine-rich region flanking the N-and C-termini of TMDs,respectively,and an aromatic residue in the C-terminal side of the TMD that specify mitochondrial targeting in an additive *** motifs play a role in slowing down the elongation speed during translation,thereby ensuring mitochondrial targeting in a cotranslational *** contrast,the absence of any of these motifs individually or together causes at varying degrees chloroplast targeting that occurs in a post-translational manner.

The single-pot production of Pd@Pt core-shell structures is a promising approach as it offers large surface area,catalytic capability,and *** this work,we established a single-pot process to produce Pd@Pt core-shell nanodendrites with tunable composition,shape and size for optimal electrochemical ***@Pt nanodendrites with diverse compositions were synthesized by tuning the ratios of Pd and Pt sources in an aqueous environment using cetyltrimethylammonium chloride,which functioned as both the surfactant and the reducing agent at an elevated temperature(90°C).The synthesized Pd5@Pt5 nanodendrites showed exceptional electrochemical action toward the methanol oxidation reaction related with another compositional Pd@Pt nanodendrites and conventional Pt/C *** addition,Pd5@Pt5 nanodendrites exhibited good CO tolerance owing to their surface features and the synergistic effect among Pt and ***,nanodendrites with a Pt-rich surface provided exceptional catalytic active *** with the conventional Pt/C electrocatalyst,the anodic peak current obtained by Pd5@Pt5 nanodendrites was 3.74 and 2.18 times higher in relations of mass and electrochemical active surface area-normalized current density,*** approach offers an attractive strategy to design electrocatalysts with unique structures and outstanding catalytic performance and stability for electrochemical energy conversion.

Silicon composite of nano-capsule type is newly applied as an active anode material for lithium ion ***2-encapsulated silicon powders were synthesized by a sol-gel reaction with titanium *** nanoparticles were successfully embedded into porous titanium oxide capsules that played as a buffer layer against drastic volume changes of silicon during the charge-discharge cycling,consequently leading to the retardation of the capacity fading of intrinsic silicon *** electrochemical and structural properties of silicon nanocomposites with different surface areas of encapsulating TiO2 layer were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),nitrogen gas adsorption analysis by the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) equation,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and galvanostatic charge-discharge experiments.

Improved corrosion resistance of Mg alloy AZ31B induced by selective evaporation of Mg using large pulsed electron beam irradiation

Large pulsed electron beam(LPEB) irradiation was employed as a surface treatment of magnesium(Mg)alloy AZ31B to enhance its corrosion and wear resistance. Selective evaporation of Mg induced by LPEB irradiation at an energy density of 5J/cm^2 for 40 cycles has led to the formation of an Al-enriched resolidified layer with nano-grained structure consisting of Mg3.1 Al0.9 metastable phase. The formation of such a re-solidified layer after LPEB irradiation has enabled a decrease in corrosion rate of Mg alloy AZ31B in 3.5% NaCl solution. Different equivalent electrical circuit models were proposed to account for the corrosion behavior of untreated Mg alloy AZ31B and those subjected to LPEB irradiation. A decrease in wear depth when compared to that of the untreated alloy suggests an increase in wear resistance of LPEB-irradiated Mg alloy AZ31B. Adhesive wear is the predominant mechanism of untreated Mg alloy AZ31B while abrasive wear mechanism dominates for LPEB-irradiated Mg alloy AZ31B.

Similarity measure construction has been proposed as fault detection of flight test method in order to obtain the primary control surface stuck and the combination stuck of primary *** measures were obtained through analyzing the certainty and uncertainty of fuzzy membership functions,which were designed based on well-known Hamming *** was applied to the fault detection of primary control surface stuck of uninhabited aerial vehicle(UAV).At post-failure control surface,if the UAV is controllable and trimmable using other control surfaces,the UAV is able to fly or return to the safety region through reconfiguration of flight control *** detect the fault,similarity measure computations were carried *** result could be applicable with the real-time parameter estimation *** monitoring the value of coefficients due to the control surface deviation,it becomes aware that the control surface fault occurs or *** control surface stuck position and value were separated by comparing the trim value with the reference *** is the advantage of increasing in reliability without adding sensors or with additional low cost.
