High spin states in neutron-rich ^(106)Tc nucleus

The high spin states of the neutron-rich odd-odd 106Tc nucleus have been reinvestigated by observing prompt γ-rays from the spontaneous fission of 252Cf. A previously known collective band is confirmed and expanded, and a new collective band is newly identified. Several levels in previous report in 106Tc are reexamined and they belong to the members of a band in 107Tc. The total Routhian surface (TRS) calculations show that the 106Tc has triaxial shape. The spins and parities as well as the configurations for these bands have been tentatively assigned according to the analysis of the angular momentum alignments.

background Although the Head Positioning in acute Stroke Trial(HeadPoST)showed no effect of the flat head position(FP;vs sitting up head position(sup))on functional outcome,we hypothesised that it could still offer benefits if commenced early in those with acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)of at least moderate *** Subgroup analysis of HeadPoST in participants with National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)scores≥7,≥10 and≥14,randomised to FP or sup<4.5 hours of AIS onset on functional outcomes defined by a shift in scores on the modified Rankin scale(mRS)and death/disability(mRS scores 3-6),and any cardiovascular serious adverse *** regression analyses were undertaken adjusted for study design and baseline risk *** There was no significant differential treatment effect in patient subgroups defined by increasing baseline NIHSS scores:adjusted OR and 95%CI for ordinal shift and binary(3-6)mRS scores:for NIHSS≥7(n=867)0.92(0.67 to 1.25)and 0.74(0.52 to 1.04);NIHSS≥10(n=606)0.80(0.58 to 1.10)and 0.77(0.49 to 1.19);NIHSS≥14(n=378)0.82(0.54 to 1.24)and 1.22(0.69 to 2.14).Conclusions Early FP had no significant effect in patients with moderate-severe AIS.

Levels in the neutron-rich 109Ru have been studied by observing the prompt γ-rays following the spontaneous fission fragments of 252Cf. The ground state band and the negative parity bands have been confirmed and extended. A positive parity band with the band head level at 332.5 keV is newly identified and suggested as a single-neutron excitation band built on the 7/2+[404] Nilsson orbital. Some structural characteristics of these bands are discussed.

A new ^11Be（p,d） transfer reaction experiment is performed in inverse kinematics with a radioactive11 Be beam at26.9 MeV. Three low-lying states, namely the 0＋ground state, the 2^＋ state at Ex = 3.37 MeV, and the multiplet at around 6 MeV in10 Be, are populated by this one-neutron transfer reaction. These three states in10 Be are clearly discriminated from the -value spectrum, which is rebuilt from energies and angles of the recoil deuterons in coincidence with10 Be. A spectroscopic factor for each state is extracted by comparing the experimental differential cross sections to the theoretical calculation results using the finite range adiabatic distorted wave approximation method with different global nucleon-nucleus potentials. It is found that the newly extracted spectroscopic factors for the 0＋and 2＋states are consistent with the previous ones, but the factor for the multiplet is smaller than the value in the reference, and the possible reason is discussed.

人类第9号染色体短臂不到40kb的座位发现了多肿瘤抑制基因(Multiple Tumor sup-Pressor1和2,MTS1和MTS2)。它们分别编码两种蛋白:前者叫做P16蛋白,抑制依赖细胞周期素激酶 4(Cyclin-dependent Kinase 4,CdK4)。后者比P16小20多个残基,功能推测与P16相近。MTS1基因与p^(53)相比,它在75％的各种癌细胞中发生缺失;而p^(53)基因的缺失率在各种癌细胞中为50％。P^(16)到目前为止发现的第一个直接控制细胞增殖周期的细胞固有蛋白,而P^(53)控制细胞增殖周期要通过P^(21)发挥抑制作用。
