The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the urgent need to s.rengthen public health *** res.ons.,the United Nations.Dis.s.er Ris. Reduction(UNDRR) Public Health s.s.em Res.lience s.orecard(s.orecard) was.applied in works.ops.acros. multiple *** aim of our res.arch was.to explore the works.op findings.to develop priority s.rategies.for s.rengthening public health s.s.em *** conducted a works.op from 14 to 16 March 2023,at the UNDRR Global Education and Training Ins.itute in Incheon,Republic of Korea.A s.quential modified Delphi method was.utilized to develop a s.t of prioritized res.lience *** were drawn from 70 s.rategies.identified from 13 dis.inct works.ops.in eight *** two s.rveys.23 s.rategies.were *** received ratings.of "High" or Very High" from89% of *** related to the inclus.on of public health ris.s.in emergency plans.integrating multidis.iplinary teams.into public health,enabling local trans.ort mechanis.s.and improving the ability to manage an influx of *** s.orecard provides.an adaptable framework to identify and prioritize s.rategies.for s.rengthening public health s.s.em *** leveraging this.methodology,our s.udy demons.rated how res.lience s.rategies.could inform dis.s.er ris. reduction funding,policies.and actions.

Objective:To explore the practice of PM&R in s.bs.haran Africa and ***:Medline s.arches.members.ip data s.arches.fax s.rvey of medical s.hools.Internet s.arches.and interviews.with ***:The continents.are dis.imilar in terms.of climate and *** both Antarctica and s.bs.haran Africa have no PM&R training programs.no profes.ional organizations.no s.ecialty board requirements.and no practicing phys.cians.in the *** there is.no known dis.bled child on Antarctica and adults.are airlifted to world-clas. health care,the cons.quences.of this.deficit are minimal *** the 788,000,000 permanent res.dents.of s.bs.haran Africa including approximately 78 million pers.ns.with dis.bility are left ***:Antarctica is.doing *** is.in a *** medical s.hools.hos.itals.doctors.and pers.ns.with dis.bility;along with foreign volunteers.aid groups.and policymakers.can impact the *** government-s.ecifically national minis.ries.of health-is.ultimately res.ons.ble for the health and wellbeing of citizens.

Penile rehabilitation following pros.ate cancer treatment： review of current literature

Radical pros.atectomy （RP） and radiotherapy （RT） are highly effective in improving pros.ate cancer s.rvival. However, both have a detrimental effect on erectile function （EF）. Penile rehabilitation cons.s.s.of unders.anding the mechanis.s.that caus. erectile dys.unction （ED） and utilizing pharmacologic agents. devices.or interventions.to promote male s.xual function. For the pas. decade, many res.archers.have purs.ed to define effective treatment modalities.to improve ED after pros.ate cancer treatment. Des.ite the unders.anding of the mechanis.s.and well-es.ablis.ed rationale for pos.pros.ate treatment penile rehabilitation, there is.s.ill no cons.ns.s.regarding effective rehabilitation programs. This.article reviews.a contemporary s.ries.of trials.that as.es. penile rehabilitation and explore treatment modalities.that might play a role in the future. Publis.ed data and trials.related to penile rehabilitation after RP and RT were reviewed and pres.nted. Although recent trials.have s.own that mos. therapies.are well-tolerated and aid in s.me degree on EF recovery, we penile rehabilitation algorithm. However, advancements.in options.for penile rehabilitation. currently do not have tangible evidence to recommend an irrefutable res.arch and technology will ultimately create and refine management

Pancreatic s.hincterotomy s.rves.as.the corners.one of endos.opic therapy of the pancreas. His.orically, its.indications.have been les. well-defined than thos. of endos.opic biliary s.hincterotomy, yet it plays.a definite and us.ful role in dis.as.s.s.ch as.chronic pancreatitis.and pancreatic-type s.hincter of Oddi dys.unction. In the appropriate s.tting, it may be us.d as.a s.ngle therapeutic maneuver, or in conjunction with other endos.opic techniques.s.ch as.pancreatic s.one extraction or s.ent placement. The current s.andard of practice utilizes.two different methods.of performing pancreatic s.hincterotomy: a pull-type s.hincterotome technique without prior s.ent placement, and a needle-knife s.hincterotome technique over an exis.ing s.ent. The complications.as.ociated with pancreatic s.hincterotomy are many, although acute pancreatitis.appears.to be the mos. common and the mos. s.rious.of the early complications. As.s.ch, it continues.to be res.rved for thos. endos.opis.s.who perform a relatively high-volume of therapeutic pancreaticobiliary endos.opic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography.

Validation and reproducibility of the Heidelberg Edge Perimeter in the detection of glaucomatous.vis.al field defects

AIM: To validate the ability of the Heidelberg Edge Perimeter(HEP) in detecting glaucomatous.vis.al field(VF) defects.compared to the Octopus.Vis.al Field(OVF) Analyzer and to determine the tes.-retes. repeatability of both ***: This.pros.ective, cros.-s.ctional s.udy was.conducted at Wills.Eye Hos.ital, Philadelphia, PA. Glaucoma s.bjects.and unaffected controls.underwent VF tes.ing us.ng HEP s.andard automated perimetry(s.P) Ⅲ 30-2 Adaptive s.aircas. Thres.olding Algorithm(As.A) FAs. protocol and OVF G-TOP white-on-white s.rategy. Tes.ing order was.randomized. Pears.n's.correlation coefficient was.calculated for both mean deviation(md) and pattern s.andard deviation/s.uare root of los. of variance(Ps./s.LV). Receiver operating characteris.ic(ROC) curves.were us.d to determine the diagnos.ic abilities.of both modalities. Glaucoma s.bjects.returned for repeat tes.ing and intraclas. correlation coefficients.ICCs. were calculated to as.es. tes.-retes. repeatability. REs.LTs. s.venty-nine s.bjects.with glaucoma and 36 unaffected controls.were enrolled. HEP and OVF were s.gnificantly correlated for both md(r=-0.84; Ps./s.LV(r=0.79; Ps.under the ROC curves.AUCs. were als. comparable between HEP and OVF for both md(0.74 and 0.79, res.ectively; P=0.26) and Ps./s. V(0.74 and 0.82; P=0.08). ICC was.high for both HEP (0.96 for md, 0.95 for Ps./s.LV) and OVF(0.82 and 0.88, res.ectively). Mean tes. duration(min) was.s.gnificantly s.orter for OVF(2.63) compared to HEP(5.15; Ps.ON: HEP and OVF s.ow s.rong correlation for both md and Ps./s.LV, and have s.milar validity for detecting glaucoma. The tes.-retes. repeatability is.high for both HEP and OVF, however the average tes.ing duration of HEP is.s.gnificantly longer than that of OVF.
