Rhizobium tropici-derived extra.ellula. polymeric substa.ces (EPS) ha.e been used in soils to enha.ce soil structures a.d mitiga.e soil erosions. However, informa.ion on their use to improve soil hea.th a.d fertility indica.ors, a.d pla.t growth is limited. In a.greenhouse study, we investiga.ed their effects on some soil hea.th, soil fertility indices, a.d the growth of bla.k-eyed pea. (Vigna.unguicula.e). Results showed tha. soils incuba.ed with EPS significa.tly increa.ed ba.a. soil respira.ion, soil microbia. bioma.s, perma.ga.a.e oxidiza.le ca.bon (POC), a.d potentia.ly minera.iza.le nitrogen (PMN). The EPS shifted microbia. popula.ions from ba.teria.to fungi a.d Gra. (−ve) to Gra. ( ve) ba.teria. However, it ha. little or no effects on soil pH, soil orga.ic ma.ter (SOM), a.d ca.ion excha.ge ca.a.ity (CEC). The EPS decrea.ed soil moisture loss, increa.ed soil a.grega.e sta.ility, but dela.ed bla.ked-eyed pea. germina.ions in the soils. a. 0.1% (w/w) concentra.ions in soils, there wa. increa.e in pla.t root nodula.ions a.d vegeta.ive growth. This study wa. ca.ried out within 40 da.s of incuba.ing soils with EPS or growing the bla.k-eyed pea. in a.greenhouse study. The pla.t growth pa.a.eters were ta.en before flowering a.d fruiting. Further studies of the effects of incuba.ing soils with the extra.ellula. polymeric substa.ces on pla.t growth. Soil microbia. bioma.s, microbia. diversities, a.d other soil fertility indices a.e deemed necessa.y.

The ha.ide migra.ion effect in mixed-ha.ide lea.-ba.ed perovskite is a.serious problem hindering the development of its displa. *** this study,we ha.e successfully a.dressed this issue by reporting forma.inium(Fa.doped mixed-ha.ide perovskite na.ocrysta.s(NCs)with ultra.deep-blue emission of 450 nm,na.row ba.dwidth of 16 nm,a.d a.high photoluminescence qua.tum yield(PLQY)of 66%.The perovskite na.ocrysta. light-emitting diodes(NC-LEDs)using this na.ocrysta. a. a. a.tive la.er a.hieved a.ma.imum externa. qua.tum efficiency(EQE)of 0.32%,30-fold improved compa.ed to tha. of pristine a.d sta.le electroluminescence(EL)spectra.a. 450 nm under a.4.9–8.0 V *** findings demonstra.e the potentia. of our a.proa.h in developing sta.le a.d efficient deep blue perovskite NC-LEDs.
