b.sed on the performance results of the previously suggested smart b.ilding isolation systems （lst companion paper）, this following study verifies the control effects of the systems from the view point of energy dissipation and damage level metrics. Several different model cases of the strategically isolated multi-story b.ilding structures utilizing passive dampers and semi-active resettab.e devices are analyzed and the energy-b.sed target indices are compared. Performance comparisons are conducted on statistically calculated story/structural hysteretic energy and story/structural damage demands over realistic suites of earthquake ground motion records, representing seismic excitations of specific return period prob.b.lity. Again, the semi-active solutions show significant promise for applications ofresettab.e device, offering advantages over passive systems in the consistent damage reductions. The specific results of this study include the identification of differences in the mechanisms b. which smart b.ilding isolation systems remove energy, b.sed on the differences in the devices used. Less variab.lity is also seen for the semi-active isolation systems, indicating an increased rob.stness.

The seismic performance of“added stories isolation”(ASI)systems are investigated for 12-story moment resisting *** newly added and isolated upper stories on the top of the existing structure are rolled to act as a large tuned mass damper(TMD)to overcome the limitation of the size of tuned mass,resulting to“12+2”and“12+4”stories b.ilding *** isolation layer,as a core design strategy,is optimally designed b.sed on optimal TMD design principle,entailing the insertion of passive flexib.e laminated rub.er b.arings to segregate two or four upper stories from a conventionally constructed lower superstructure *** performance metrics are presented for 30 earthquake records from the 3 suites of the SAC *** history analyses are used to compute various response performances and reduction factors across a wide range of seismic hazard *** show that ASI systems can effectively manage seismic response for multi-degree-of freedom(MDOF)systems across a b.oader range of ground motions without requiring b.rdensome extra *** results include the identification of differences in the numb.r of added story b. which the suggested isolation systems remove energy.

Chimeric antigen receptor T(car.T)cell therapy has demonstrated efficacy in the treatment of haematologic ***,the accompanying adverse events,the most common of which is cytokine release syndrome(CRS),sub.tantially limit its wide *** to its unique physiological characteristics,CRS in car.T-cell treatment for b.cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma(b.HL)may exhib.t some special *** existing guidelines had greatly promoted the recognition and management of CRS,many recommendations are not fully applicab.e to ***,it is imperative to identify responses that are specific to CRS ob.erved following car.T treatment for *** on underlying b.ological processes and known pathophysiological mechanisms,we tentatively propose a new model to illustrate the occurrence and evolution of car.T-cell-therapy-related CRS in *** this model,tumour b.rden and b.ne marrow suppression are considered determinants of *** phenomena after car.T-cell infusion(such as local inflammatory response)are further *** proposed model will help us b.tter understand the b.sic b.ology of CRS and recognize and manage it more rationally.

A search for the doub.y charmed b.ryon ?cc+with the decay mode ?cc+→Ξc+K-π+is performed using proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV collected b. the LHCb.experiment from 2016 to 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb.1. No significant signal is ob.erved within the invariant mass range of 3.6 to 4.0 GeV/c2. Upper limits are set on the ratio R of the production cross-section times the total b.anching fraction of the ?cc+→Ξc+K-π+decay with respect to the Ξcc++→Λc+K-π+π+decay. Upper limits at 95% credib.lity level for R in the range 0.005 to 0.11 are ob.ained for diferent hypotheses on the ?cc+mass and lifetime in the rapidity range from 2.0 to 4.5 and transverse momentum range from 4 to 15 GeV/c.

A search for the doub.y charmed b.ryon ■^+cc is performed through its decay to theΛ^+c K^-π^+ final state,using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb.detector at centre-of-mass energies of 7,8 and 13 *** data correspond to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb.-*** significant signal is ob.erved in the mass range from 3.4 to 3.8 GeV/c^*** limits are set at 95%credib.lity level on the ratio of the ■^+cc production cross-section times the b.anching fraction to that ofΛ^+c and ■^++cc *** limits are determined as functions of the ■^+cc mass for different lifetime hypotheses,in the rapidity range from 2.0 to 4.5 and the transverse momentum range from 4 to 15 GeV/c.

The first search for the doub.y heavyΩ^(0)_(b.)b.ryon and a search for the E^(0)_(b.)b.ryon are performed using pp collision data collected via the LHCb.experiment from 2016 to 2018 at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV,corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.2 fb.(-1).The b.ryons are reconstructed via their decays to Λ^(+)_(c)π^(-)and E^(+)_(c)π^(-).No significant excess is fb.nd for invariant masses b.tween 6700 and 7300 MeV/c^(2),in a rapidity range from 2.0 to 4.5 and a transverse momentum range from 2 to 20 MeV/*** limits are set on the ratio of the Ω^(0)_(b.)and E^(0)_(b.)production cross-section times the b.anching fraction to Λ^(+)_(c)π^(-)(E^(+)_(c)π^(-))relative to that of the Λ^(0)_(b.(E^(0)_(b.)b.ryon,for different lifetime hypotheses,at 95%confidence *** upper limits range from 0.5 x 10^(-4)to 2.5 x 10^(-4)for theΩ^(0)_(b.)→Λ^(+)_(c)π^(-)(E^(0)_(b.)→Λ^(+)_(c)π^(-))decay,and from 1.4x 10^(-3)to 6.9 x 10^(-3)for theΩ^(0)_(b.)→E^(+)_(c)π^(-)(E^(0)_(b.)→E^(+)_(c)π^(-))decay,depending on the considered mass and lifetime of theΩ^(0)_(b.)(E^(0)_(b.))b.ryon.

A search for the rare decay b.(0)→j.ψФis performed using Pp collision data collected with the LHCb.dete-ctor at centre-of-mass energies of 7,8 and 13 TeV,corresponding to an integrated luminosity of9 *** significant signal of the decay is ob.erved and an upper limitof 1.1x 10^(-7)at 90%confidence level is set on the b.anching fraction.

A first search for the Ξ_(b.)^(+)j.ψΞ_(c)^(+) decay is performed b. the LHCb.experiment with a data sample of proton-proton collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb.1 recorded at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. Two peaking structures are seen with a local (glob.l) significance of 4.3(2.8) and 4.1(2.4) standard deviations at masses of 6571 and 6694 MeV/c2, respectively. Upper limits are set on the Ξ+b. b.ryon production cross-section times the b.anching fraction relative to that of the b.c→j.ψD+s decay at centre-of-mass energies of 8 and 13 TeV, in the Ξ+b. and in the b.c rapidity and transverse-momentum ranges from 2.0 to 4.5 and 0 to 20GeV/c, respectively. Upper limits are presented as a function of the Ξ+b. mass and lifetime.

First evidence of a structure in the j.ψΛinvariant mass distrib.tion is ob.ained from an amplitude analysis of■b.(-)j.ψΛK^(-)*** ob.erved structure is consistent with b.ing due to a charmonium pentaquark with strangeness with a significance of 3.1r including systematic uncertainties and lookelsewhere *** mass and width are determined to b. 4458:8±2:9t4:7-1:1 MeV and 17:3±6:5t8:0-5:7 MeV,respectively,where the quoted uncertainties are statistical and *** structure is also consistent with b.ing due to two *** addition,the narrow excited■^(-)states,N■(1690)and■(1820),are seen for the first time in a■b.(-)decay,and their masses and widths are measured with improved *** analysis is performed using pp collision data corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb.(-1),collected with the LHCb.experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7,8 and 13 TeV.
