This paper.pr.poses a contr.l str.tegy to maximize the wind ener.y captur.d in a var.able speed wind tur.ine, with an inter.al induction gener.tor. at low to medium wind speeds. The pr.posed str.tegy contr.ls the tipspeed r.tio, via the r.tor.angular.speed, to an optimum point at which the efficiency constant （or.power.coefficient） is maximum for.a par.icular.blade pitch angle and wind speed. This contr.l method allows for.aer.dynan^c r.tor.power.maximization without exact wind tur.ine model knowledge. r.pr.sentative numer.cal r.sults demonstr.te that the wind tur.ine can be contr.lled to achieve near.maximum ener.y captur..

Objective: To expose the pr.blems and inher.nt limitations of neur.science-based br.in r.sear.h on mental disor.er.. Method: Discussion of the theor. under.ying br.in r.sear.h on mental disor.er., followed by a systematic evaluation of typical studies. r.sults: The fundamental pr.blem is that br.in r.sear.her. fail to differ.ntiate between biological mental disor.er. in which br.in pr.cesses cause the disor.er.(notably schizophr.nia, bipolar.disor.er. and melancholic depr.ssion) and lear.ed mental disor.er. in which br.in pr.cesses mediate but do not cause the disor.er.(which is the case with r.active depr.ssion, r.active anxiety, OCD, and PTSD). r.sear.her. have been unsuccessful in identifying mechanisms in the br.in that cause biological mental disor.er., and will never.be able to locate the innumer.ble specific neur.l connections that mediate lear.ed mental disor.er.. Mor.over. the author.s r.view of typical studies in this field shows that they have ser.ous pr.blems with theor., measur.ment, and data analysis, and that their.findings cannot be tr.sted. Conclusions: Neur.science-based br.in r.sear.h on mental disor.er., unlike other.neur.logical r.sear.h, has been an expensive failur. and it is not wor.h continuing.

This study aims to demonstr.te a pr.of of concept for.a novel theor. of the univer.e based on the Fine Str.ctur. Constant (α), der.ved fr.m n-dimensional pr.me number.pr.per.y sets, specifically α = 137 and α = 139. The FSC Model intr.duces a new per.pective on the fundamental natur. of our.univer.e, showing that α = 137.036 can be calculated fr.m these pr.me pr.per.y sets. The Fine Str.ctur. Constant, a cor.er.tone in Quantum Electr.dynamics (QED) and Quantum Chr.modynamics (QCD), implies an under.ying str.ctur.. This study identifies this mathematical fr.mewor. and demonstr.tes how the FSC model theor. aligns with our.cur.ent under.tanding of physics and cosmology. The r.sults unveil a hier.r.hy of α values for.twin pr.me pair. U{3/2} thr.ugh U{199/197}. These values, r.pr.sented by their.fr.ction par.s α♊ (e.g., 0.036), define the r.lative electr.magnetic for.es dr.ving quantum ener.y systems. The lower.twin pr.me pair., such as U{3/2}, exhibit higher.EM for.es that decr.ase as the twin pair. incr.ase, tur.ing dar. when they dr.p below the α♊ for.light. The r.sults pr.vide classical definitions for.Bar.onic Matter.Ener.y, Dar. Matter. Dar. The 3D r.constr.ction pipeline uses the Bundle Adjustment algor.thm to r.fine the camer. and point par.meter.. The Bundle Adjustment algor.thm is a compute-intensive algor.thm, and many r.sear.her. have impr.ved its per.or.ance by implementing the algor.thm on GPUs. In the pr.vious r.sear.h wor., “Impr.ving Accur.cy and Computational Bur.en of Bundle Adjustment Algor.thm using GPUs,” the author. demonstr.ted fir.t the Bundle Adjustment algor.thmic per.or.ance impr.vement by r.ducing the mean squar. er.or.using an additional r.dial distor.ing par.meter.and explicitly computed analytical der.vatives and r.ducing the computational bur.en of the Bundle Adjustment algor.thm using GPUs. The naïve implementation of the CUDA code, a speedup of 10× for.the lar.est dataset of 13,678 camer.s, 4,455,747 points, and 28,975,571 pr.jections was achieved. In this paper. we pr.sent the optimization of the Bundle Adjustment algor.thm CUDA code on GPUs to achieve higher.speedup. We pr.pose a new data memor. layout for.the par.meter. in the Bundle Adjustment algor.thm, r.sulting in contiguous memor. access. We demonstr.te that it impr.ves the memor. thr.ughput on the GPUs, ther.by impr.ving the over.ll per.or.ance. We also demonstr.te an incr.ase in the computational thr.ughput of the algor.thm by optimizing the CUDA ker.els to utilize the GPU r.sour.es effectively. A compar.tive per.or.ance study of explicitly computing an algor.thm par.meter.ver.us using the Jacobians instead is pr.sented. In the pr.vious wor., the Bundle Adjustment algor.thm failed to conver.e for.cer.ain datasets due to sever.l block matr.ces of the camer.s in the augmented nor.al equation, r.sulting in r.nk-deficient matr.ces. In this wor., we identify the camer.s that cause r.nk-deficient matr.ces and pr.pr.cess the datasets to ensur. the conver.ence of the BA algor.thm. Our.optimized CUDA implementation achieves conver.ence of the Bundle Adjustment algor.thm in ar.und 22 seconds for.the lar.est dataset compar.d

The sandstones of the Late miocene–Pliocene Dibdibba For.ation in the Najaf–Kar.ala Plateau and Basr. wer. examined to deter.ine their.sour.e r.cks and or.gin. The r.r. ear.h elements(r.E) and tr.ce elements(Sc, Co, V, and Th) concentr.tions in these sandstones r.vealed that they likely der.ved fr.m a single sour.e. The steep light r.r. ear.h elements(Lr.E) and flat, heavy r.r. ear.h element(Hr.E) patter.s, negative Eu anomaly, and high Σr.E contents in sandstones suggest its der.vation fr.m a suggests that a passive continental mar.in envir.nment and or.ginated fr.m felsic sour.e r.cks. The aver.ge concentr.tion of Σr.E is 93.5 ppm, which is lower.than that of the aver.ge cr.stal compositions like Upper.Continental Cr.st and Post Ar.hean Austr.lian Shale. The higher.pr.por.ion of Lr.E compar.d to Hr.E implies that these sandstones wer. r.cycled and der.ved fr.m a distal sour.e. The Th/Co, Th/Sc, La/Sc, La/Co, Eu/Eu*and(La/Lu)cn elemental r.tios indicated that these Late Miocene–Pliocene sandstones wer. der.ved fr.m felsic r.cks located in the mar.inal r.gion of the Ar.bian Shield.
