Two phases of a DIII-D discharge with and without magnetohydrodynamics （MHD） activity are analysed using ONETWO code. The toroidal momentum flux is extracted from experimental data and compared with the predictions by neoclassical theory, Gyro-Landau fluid transport model （GLF23） and Multi-Mode model （MMM95）. It is found that without MHD activities GLF23 and MMM95 provide a reasonable description while with MHD activity no model alone can fully describe the experimental momentum flux. For the phase with MHD activity a simple model of resonant magnetic drag is tested and it cannot fully explain the plasma slowing down observed in experiment.

We and others have published extensively on the benefits of physical activity(PA),exercise training,and cardiorespiratory fitness(CRF)to decrease the prevalence of cardiovascular diseases(CVDs)and CVD and all-cause morbidity and mortality.^(1-5)Both PA and CRF are important;however,CRF,which is mostly obtained through PA,although there is a genetic component,seems to be even more important than PA for predicting prognosis.^(1,4-6)Certainly,the wealth of data from across the world has indicated that increasing PA to enhance CRF while mitigating sedentary behavior would go a long way to lessen the world-wide obesity epidemic and reduce CVD and all-cause mortality.

This article describes the design and simulation of a pair of antennas on a small PCB with minimal coupling for a massive multiple input sensor network. The two antennas are planar inverted-F antennas （PIFA） that are fed with microstrip feed lines. The critical design factors are minimizing mass while creating ISM band and GPS L1 band antennas and developing data transmission schemes for maximum usage of all communication channels. The designed board is a 60 mm diameter, 0.6 mm thick circular FR4 board that weighs approximately 5 g.

The main aim of this paper is to present humanity and termites as design partners in the creation of a new dimension of ecosystem understanding. The paper by Turner and Soar, Beyond biomimicry： What termites can tell us about realizing the living building＂（2008） opens up a new era in how we think of human habitations, not only on earth, but perhaps on other planets, and using the termite model as the comer stone of innovative engineering. We know that termites are masters of constructing ＇buildings＇ that meet all nutrition, energy, waste disposal needs, shelter, and food sources for many other animals and insects. We need to emulate the symbiotic abilities of termites to survive over time, for we all live on this symbiotic planet, and symbiosis is natural and common.

＂Long Live King Albany!＂： The History of King Lear （1608） and the Revolution in Shakespeare Studies

A revolution in Shakespeare studies over the past three decades asks that we take earlier quarto versions of his plays as fully independent texts. In no case can such a change in our outlook yield more illuminating results than a serious look at the 1608 Quarto version of Shakespeare＇s King Lear. The 1623 Folio version and the ＂conflated＂ modem editions, which combine the ＂best＂ readings of the Quarto and Folio versions, both anoint his godson Edgar, the Earl of Gloucester, as the new king at the end. However, the 1608 Quarto version elevates, not Edgar, but Lear＇s son-in-law, the Duke of Albany, to the kingship at the end. Shakespeare may be telling the same story in texts that seem strikingly similar, but the difference in the endings shifts the center of gravity in both plays, requiring an interpretation that makes sense out this difference. The title page of the 1608 Quarto version of King Lear describes it as a ＂history＂; yet this ＂same＂ King Lear is listed as a ＂tragedy＂ in the 1623 Folio. The difference between those two words is the key to why Shakespeare＇s two versions could have startlingly different outcomes.

Seed development is a complex period of the flowering plant life *** fertilization,the three main regions of the seed,embryo,endosperm and seed coat,undergo a series of developmental processes that result in the production of a mature seed that is developmentally arrested,desiccated,and metabolically *** processes are highly coordinated,both temporally and spatially,to ensure the proper growth and development of the *** transcription factor,LEAFY COTYLEDON1(LEC1),is a central regulator that controls several aspects of embryo and endosperm development,including embryo morphogenesis,photosynthesis,and storage reserve ***,LEC1 regulates distinct sets of genes at different stages of seed *** its critical importance for seed development,an understanding of the mechanisms underlying LECi's multifunctionality is only beginning to be *** studies describe the roles of specific transcription factors and the hormones,gibberellic acid and abscisic acid,in controlling the activity and transcriptional specificity of LEC1 across seed ***,studies indicate that LEC1 acts as a pioneer transcript!on factor to promote epigenetic reprogramming during *** this review,we discuss the mechanisms that enable LEC1 to serve as a central regulator of seed development.
