Since the fault dynamic of droop-controlled inverter is different from synchronous g.nerators (Sg.), protection devices may become invalid, and the fault overcurrent may damag. power electronic devices and threaten the safety of the microg.id. Therefore, it is imperative to conduct a comprehensive fault analysis of the inverter to g.ide the desig. of protection schemes. However, due to the complexity of droop control strateg., existing.literatures have simplified asymmetric fault analysis of droop-controlled inverters to varying.deg.ees. Therefore, accurate fault analysis of a droop-controlled inverter is needed. In this paper, by analyzing.the control system, an accurate fault model is established. Based on this, a calculation method for instantaneous asymmetrical fault current is proposed. In addition, the current components and current characteristics are analyzed. It was determined that fault currents are affected by control loops, fault types, fault distance and nonlinear limiters. In particular, the influences of limiters on the fault model, fault current calculation and fault current characteristics were analyzed. Throug. detailed analysis, it was found that dynamics of the control loop cannot be ig.ored, the fault type and fault distance determine fault current level, and part of the limiters will totally chang. the fault current trend. Finally, calculation and experimental results verify the correctness of the proposed method.

Platelets are small, versatile blood cells that are critical for hemostasis/thrombosis. Local platelet accumulation is a known contributor to proinflammation in various disease states. However, the anti-inflammatory/immunosuppressive potential of platelets has been poorly explored. Here, we uncovered, unexpectedly, desialylated platelets (dPLTs) down-reg.lated immune responses ag.inst both platelet-associated and -independent antig.n challeng.s. Utilizing.multispectral photoacoustic tomog.aphy, we tracked dPLT trafficking.to g.t vasculature and an exclusive Kupffer cell-mediated dPLT clearance in the liver, a process that we identified to be synerg.stically dependent on platelet g.ycoprotein Ibα and hepatic Ashwell–Morell receptor. Mechanistically, Kupffer cell clearance of dPLT potentiated a systemic immunosuppressive state with increased anti-inflammatory cytokines and circulating.CD4+ reg.latory T cells, abolishable by Kupffer cell depletion. Last, in a clinically relevant model of hemophilia A, presensitization with dPLT attenuated anti-factor VIII antibody production after factor VIII ( infusion. As platelet desialylation commonly occurs in daily-ag.d and activated platelets, these finding. open new avenues toward understanding.immune homeostasis and potentiate the therapeutic potential of dPLT and eng.neered dPLT transfusions in controlling.autoimmune and alloimmune diseases.

In 2012, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) practitioners in Australia became nationally-reg.stered allied health professionals in three categ.ries: acupuncturist, Chinese herbal medicine practitioner, and Chinese herbal medicine dispenser. Australia was the first Western country to introduce national reg.stration for Chinese medicine, followed by Portug.l and, recently, New Zealand. The practice of TCM in Australia can be traced back to the beg.nning.of Chinese immig.ation to Australia during.the Victorian g.ld Rush which beg.n in the 1850s. The process which led to national reg.stration commenced in the early 1970s with the establishment of the first acupuncture courses. Decades of g.adual development of courses from unaccredited part-time diplomas to accredited bachelor deg.ees, and the development, by the profession, of national consensus on educational standards were essential elements in the process which led to reg.stration. Professional associations, such as the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association Ltd.(AACMA), also developed a framework of professional selfreg.lation, including.Codes of Ethics, Codes of Conduct, ong.ing.professional development requirements and Infection Control g.idelines, and provided leadership in the development of the profession. After decades of tribalism and division within the TCM profession, the National Academic Standards Committee broug.t almost all stakeholders tog.ther to reach a consensus on the Australian g.idelines for Traditional Chinese Medicine Education which were published by AACMA in 2001. Professional associations also collaborated on joint submissions to the g.vernment in support of reg.stration, which was introduced first in the state of Victoria in 2000, and subsequently became national in 2012. Despite national reg.stration, some barriers still remain, and professional associations continue to lobby the federal g.vernment for inclusion in Medicare, chronic disease manag.ment scheme, and Veterans

BACKg.OUND Cheilectomy of the 1^(st)metatarsophalang.al joint(MTPJ)is one of the most common procedures for the manag.ment of hallux ***,there is no consensus reg.rding.outcomes following.minimally invasive dorsal cheilectomy(MIDC)for the manag.ment of hallux *** To evaluate outcomes following.MIDC for the manag.ment of hallux *** During.November 2023,the PubMed,EMBASE and Cochrane Library databases were systematically reviewed to identify clinical studies examining.outcomes following.MIDC for the manag.ment of hallux *** Six studies were *** total,348 patients(370 feet)underwent MIDC for hallux rig.dus at a weig.ted mean follow-up of 37.9±16.5 *** distribution of patients by Coug.lin and Shurna's classification was recorded in 4 studies as follows:Ⅰ(58 patients,27.1%),Ⅱ(112 patients,52.3%),Ⅲ(44 patients,20.6%).Three studies performed an additional 1^(st)MTPJ arthroscopy and debridement following.*** intra-articular bone debris was observed in 100%of patients in 1 *** weig.ted mean American orthopedic foot and ankle society score improved from a preoperative score of 68.9±3.2 to a postoperative score of *** complication rate was 8.4%,the most common of which was persistent joint pain and ***-two failures(8.7%)were ***-three secondary procedures(8.9%)were performed at a weig.ted mean time of 8.6±3.2 months following.the index *** This systematic review demonstrated improvements in subjective clinical outcomes tog.ther with a moderate complication rate following.MIDC for the manag.ment of hallux rig.dus at short-term follow-up.A moderate reoperation rate at short-term follow-up was *** marked heterog.neity between included studies and paucity of hig. quality comparative studies limits the g.neration of any robust conclusions.
