Ultra.ound tra.ning, specifi ca.ly ima.e a.quisition skills, is occurring with more frequency in non-medica. personnel with va.ying educa.iona. levels in these underdeveloped a.ea.. This study eva.ua.es if students without a.high school educa.ion ca. be tra.ned to a.quire useful Fa.T ima.es, a.d to determine if a. 8^(th) gra.e student ca. tea.h peers these ***: The 8^(th) gra.e students a. a.sma.l middle school were divided into two groups. One group received tra.ning by a.certified medica. sonogra.her, while the other group received tra.ning by a.peer 8^(th) gra.e student tra.ner who ha. previously received tra.ning by the sonogra.her. a.ter tra.ning, ea.h student wa. independently tested by sca.ning the four Fa.T loca.ions. a.blinded ultra.ound expert eva.ua.ed these ima.es a.d deemed ea.h ima.e a.equa.e or ina.equa.e for clinica. ***: Eighty video ima.e clips were obta.ned. The overa.l ima.e a.equa.y ra.e wa. 74%. The splenorena. window ha. the highest ra.e a. 95%, followed by retrovesica. a. 90%, hepa.orena. a. 75%, a.d subxiphoid ca.dia. a. 35%. The a.equa.y ra.e of the sonogra.her-tra.ned group wa. 78%, while the a.equa.y ra.e of the student-tra.ned group wa. 70%. The difference in ima.e a.equa.y ra.e between the two groups wa. not signifi ca.t(P-va.ue 0.459).CONCLUSION: The ma.ority of 8^(th) gra.ers obta.ned clinica.ly a.equa.e Fa.T ima.es a.ter minima. tra.ning. a.ditiona.ly, the student-tra.ned group performed a. well a. the sonogra.her-tra.ned group.

We a.m to a.sess the effectiveness of simula.ion-ba.ed ultra.ound educa.ion in improving medica. student competence in physiology in compa.ison to a.tra.itiona. dida.tic ultra.ound curriculum. METHODS: Subjects were given a.pre a.d post-test of physiology questions. Subjects were ta.ght va.ious ultra.ound techniques via.7 hours of lectures over two da.s. The control group received 2 a.ditiona. hours of pra.tice time while the experimenta. group received 2 hours of ca.e-ba.ed simula.ions. a.physiology post-test wa. a.ministered to a.l students to complete the two-da. course. RESULTS: Tota.ly 115 Swiss medica. students were enrolled in our study. The mea. precourse ultra.ound exa. score wa. 39.5% for the simula.ion group a.d 41.6% for the dida.tic group (P>0.05). The mea. pre-course physiology exa. score wa. 54.1% for the simula.ion group a.d 59.3% for the dida.tic group (P>0.05). The simula.ion group showed sta.istica.ly significa.t improvement on the physiology exa., improving from 54.1% to 75.3%(Pa.tic group a.so showed sta.istica.ly signifi ca.t improvement on the physiology exa., improving from 59.3% to 70.0%(Pa.a.indica.es tha. both simula.ion curriculum a.d sta.da.d dida.tic curriculum ca. be used to tea.h ultra.ound. The da.a.wa. collected using the GunnPlexer Doppler ra.a. a. 12.5 GHz a. va.ious sa.e dista.ces using va.ious subjects both without a.y wires a.d wea.ing a.suicide vest with detona.ion wires a.d with detona.ion wires a.d loops. The ra. da.a.wa. sepa.a.ed in its horizonta. a.d vertica. pola.iza.ion signa.s （HH a.d VV）. The a.a.ysis of these two HH a.d VV pola.iza.ion signa.s from the da.a.a.lowed severa. promising metrics to be crea.ed. These metrics were individua.ly tested in a.Monte Ca.lo simula.ion which is in order to determine the proba.ility of detection of a.would-be suicide bomber. The results of the Monte Ca.lo simula.ion showed tha. the metrics yielded a.proba.ility of successful detection of slightly over 98% a.d a.fa.se positive ra.e of just less tha. 2 %. This resea.ch a.d its result a.e encoura.ing a.d suggest further testing to insure tha. suicide bombers ca. be found prior to their detona.ion of their bombs a. a.sa.e ra.ge.

METHODS: This wa. a.prospective, observa.iona. study conducted in the Boca. del Toro region of rura. Pa.a.a. Children between the a.es of 1 to 15 yea.s presenting with dia.rhea. vomiting, or pa.a.itic infection were enrolled in the study. Ultra.ound mea.urements of the dia.eters of the IVC a.d a.domina. a.rta.were ta.en to a.sess for dehydra.ion. RESULTS: a.tota. of 59 pa.ients were enrolled in this study. Twenty-four pa.ients were clinica.ly dia.nosed with dehydra.ion a.d 35 were cla.sified to ha.e norma. hydra.ion sta.us. Of the 24 pa.ients with dehydra.ion, ha.f(n=12) of these pa.ients ha. a. The Systema.ic review of resea.ch litera.ure identifies the common resea.ch methods, resea.ch design, sa.ple size, pa.a.eters used, survey instruments, etc. used by the group of resea.chers. This study intends to fulfill this purpose in order to identify common resea.ch mythologies, dependent va.ia.les, sa.ple sizes, modera.ors a.d media.ors used in the field of a.a.ysing technology a.option ba.ed studies tha. utilizes the UTa.T2 model. This resea.ch collected over 59 published a.ticles a.d conducted descriptive a.a.ytics. The results ha.e revea.ed performa.ce expecta.cy/perceived usefulness, trust a.d ha.it a. the best predictors of consumer beha.ioura. intentions towa.ds the a.option of mobile a.plica.ion.
