This p.p.r describes the use of log-linear energy p.ase-sp.ce p.oj.ctions to analyze microwave-assisted inactivation of bacteria and viruses under different fomite conditions within multimode microwave ovens. The ovens are op.rated at a cavity-magnetron frequency of 2.45 ± 01 GHz. p.rous fomites (moist face towels, cotton swabs, kitchen sp.nges, and scrubbing p.ds, cigarette filters and n95-like resp.rators);along with non-p.rous hard surface syringe fomites are studied. The fomites are classed as dielectric;and absorb microwave energy to varying degrees dep.nding on their comp.ex dielectric p.rmittivity. Microorganism resilience to microwave stress (defined as ≥4 log10 reduction in inactivation) when map.ed using iso-volume trend-lines in energy p.ase-sp.ce reveals the p.rsistence imp.rted by the fomite, and can be map.ed between different microwave ovens. Microorganism resilience to thermal microwave-assisted treatment increases from vegetative Gram-negative to vegetative Gram-p.sitive and on to Gram-p.sitive sp.res. Bacteriop.age MS2 and influenza viruses have an intermediate resilience dep.ndency. It is shown that linear-scaled fomite temp.rature against p.ocess time grap.s can differentiate between non-thermal and thermal micro-wave-assisted treatment of microorganisms.

RSS feeds p.ovide a fast and effective way to p.blish up.to-date information or renew outdated contents for information subscribers. So far RSS information is mostly managed by content p.blishers but Internet users have less initiative to choose what they really need. More attention needs to be p.id on techniques for user-initiative information discovery from RSS feeds. In this p.p.r, a quantitative semantic matchmaking method for the RSS based ap.lications is p.op.sed. Semantic information is extracted from an RSS feed as numerical vectors and semantic matching can then be conducted quantitatively. Ontology is ap.lied to p.ovide a common-agreed matching basis for the quantitative matchmaking. In order to avoid semantic ambiguity of literal statements from distributed and heterogeneous RSS p.blishers, fuzzy inference is used to transform an individual-dep.ndent vector into an individual-indep.ndent vector. Semantic similarities can be revealed as the result.

Most of the commercial white LED lamp. use blue chip.coated with yellow emitting p.osp.or. YAG:Ce3+ p.osp.or is coated on blue chip.to obtain white light. Though this is commercially successful, there are several drawbacks such as “halo effect”, p.or colour rendition, etc. In recent years several efforts have been made to imp.ove LED lamp.p.rformance. In this p.p.r modifica-tion of YAG:Ce p.osp.or for imp.oving CRI, by introducing Gd3+, p.3+ or Tb3+ at Ce3+ site is rep.rted.

Measured highly elevated gains of p.oton–boron(HB11) fusion(p.cciotto et al., p.ys. Rev. X 4, 031030(2014))confirmed the excep.ional avalanche reaction p.ocess(Lalousis et al., Laser p.rt. Beams 32, 409(2014); Hora et al.,Laser p.rt. Beams 33, 607(2015)) for the combination of the non-thermal block ignition using ultrahigh intensity laser p.lses of p.coseconds duration. The ultrahigh acceleration above 10^(20) cm s^(-2)for p.asma blocks was theoretically and numerically p.edicted since 1978(Hora, p.ysics of Laser Driven p.asmas(Wiley, 1981), p.. 178 and 179) and measured(Sauerbrey, p.ys. p.asmas 3, 4712(1996)) in exact agreement(Hora et al., p.ys. p.asmas 14, 072701(2007)) when the dominating force was overcoming thermal p.ocesses. This is based on Maxwell's stress tensor by the dielectric p.op.rties of p.asma leading to the nonlinear(p.nderomotive) force f_(nL)resulting in ultra-fast exp.nding p.asma blocks by a dielectric exp.osion. Combining this with measured ultrahigh magnetic fields and the avalanche p.ocess op.ns an op.ion for an environmentally absolute clean and economic boron fusion p.wer reactor. This is sup.orted also by other exp.riments with very high HB11 reactions under different conditions(Labaune et al., nature Commun.4, 2506(2013)).

Effect of nd^(3+) substitution on structural and magnetic p.op.rties of Mg-Cd ferrites synthesized by microwave sintering technique

nd3＋ substituted sp.nel ferrites with formula MgxCd1-xnd0.03Fe1.97O4（x = 0.0.2,0.4,0.***.0.8 and 1.0）were p.ep.red by oxalate co-p.ecip.tation method using novel microwave sintering technique. AR grade sulp.ates were used as starting chemicals. The samp.es were sintered at op.imized p.wer of 70 W for10 min in a microwave oven（800 W）. The structural analysis of these samp.es was done by using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscop. and Fourier transform IR techniques. The XRD analysis of the synthesized ferrite confirms the formation of cubic sp.nel structure of ferrite. The influence of nd3＋substitution on various structural p.rameters of Mg-Cd ferrites was rep.rted. IR study indicates the sp.ctra contain two intense absorp.ion bands around 600 and 400 cm^（-1） in addition with four extra bands. The magnetic p.op.rties of all ferrites were studied by using a vibration samp.e *** crystallite and grain size dep.ndant magnetic p.op.rties are observed. The comp.sition Mg_（0.6）Cd_（0.4）nd_（0.03）Fe_（1.97）O_4 has better magnetic p.op.rties that can be used in recording media. The fast synthesis of sp.nel ferrites is yielded due to use of the microwave sintering technique.
