A dynamic infiltration technique to synthesize nanolayered cathodes for high performance and robust solid oxide fuel cells

Solution infiltration is a popular technique for the surface modification of solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC)***,the synthesis of nanostructured SOFC cathodes by infiltration is a tedious process that often requires several infiltration and high temperature(≥500℃)calcination ***,fabricating large-area nanostructured cathodes via infiltration still requires serious ***,we propose a facile and scalable urea assisted ultrasonic spray infiltration technique for nanofabrication of SOFC *** is demonstrated that by using urea as a precipitating agent,the calcination after each infiltration cycle can be omitted and the next infiltration can be performed just after a drying step(≤100℃).Finally,the precipitates can be converted into a desired catalyst phase in single calcination thus,a nanostructured cathode can be fabricated in a much faster *** is also shown that the low calcination temperature of the cathode(≤900℃)can produce highly durable SOFC performance even without employing a Ce_(0.9)Gd_(0.1)O_(2)(GDC)diffusion barrier layer which provides the ease of SOFC *** coupling with an ultrasonic spray technique,the urea assisted infiltration can be scaled up for any desired cathode ***_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Co_(0.2)Fe_(0.8)O_(3) nanolayered cathode was fabricated and it was characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)*** showed the formation of a nanolayer cathode just after 5 cycles of the urea assisted infiltration while the XRD and TEM confirmed the phase and stoichiometric uniformity of the 100 nm cathode *** effectiveness of the newly developed technique was further verified by the stable operation of a GDC buffer layer free SOFC having an active cathode area of 25 cm^(2) during a 1200 h durability *** research outcomes propose urea assisted ultrasonic spray infiltration as a facile,scalable,and commercially viable method

对机械合金化制备的玻璃工业中用作结构零件的Pt-5%ZrO2(体积分数)的进行表征。通过锆丝电爆炸法制备氧化锆(ZrO2)纳米颗粒(粒径h。普通球磨至48 h时,铂粒径遵循经典的递减趋势,至72 h时观测到颗粒团聚现象。晶粒尺寸演变规律与颗粒尺寸规律相似,48 h后减至50 nm左右。但是,铂晶粒的均方根应变规律相反,一直在增长,直至48 h时得到最大值,然后出现弛豫。粉末球磨48 h后,采用放电等离子体烧结制成块体。根据测量得到烧结体的质量损失表明:合金虽然相对密度较低,但有较好的热稳定性。

Optical emission spectroscopy combined with a Langmuir probe measurement was conducted in inductively coupled rf 13.56 Mhz O2-Ar discharges under the pressures in the range of 1-30 mTorr and the applied rf powers of 200-600 *** Ar content in the gas mixture was varied from 5 % to 80 %.The variation of the intensities of various spectral lines was investigated to predict the concentrations of species of interest in different *** the optical emission actinometry,the dissociation fraction was estimated and the neutral atom density was *** the Langmuir probe,the electron energy probability function（EEPF）,the electron density and the electron temperature were *** methods of the evaluation of the probe I-V data were utilized and *** effects of power,pressure,and Ar content on the plasma parameters and dissociation were *** was found that the dissociation fraction increases with the power and the Ar *** electron density was found to increase with the Ar content and with the power while the electron temperature decreased with these control *** characteristics of the E-h mode transition were also *** the control parameters varying,the changes of the transition threshold power and the electron energy distribution function（EEDF） are explored.
