The present paper reports the effective utilization of marble sludge powder(MSP)for the recovery of potash values from waste mica scrap using chlorination roasting-water leaching *** studies indicated the presence of dolomite as the major mineral phase in MSP,whereas muscovite and quartz were observed in the mica *** acid leaching studies suggest a maximum of 22%potash recovery under conditions:4 M H2SO4 acid,particle size of^100μm,stirring speed of 600 r/min,leaching temperature of 75℃,and leaching time of 90 *** chlorination roasting-water leaching process was adopted to achieve the lowest level of 80%-90%potash *** optimum conditions for the recovery of^93%potash from mica(~8.6wt%K2O)requires 900℃ roasting temperature,30 min roasting time,and 1:1:0.75 mass ratio of mica:MSP:*** roasting temperature and amount of NaCl are found to be the most important factors for the recovery *** reaction mechanism suggests the formation of different mineral phases,including sylvite(KCl),wollastonite,kyanite,and enstatite,during roasting,which were confirmed by X-ray diffraction(XRD)analyses and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)*** MSP-blended NaCl additive is more effective for potash recovery compared with the other reported commercial roasting additives.

Understanding the active tectonic processes in the Nandakini Watershed is imperative for evaluating geological hazards and seismic risks,as well as for informing land-use planning and natural resource management strategies in the *** geomorphology serves as a vital tool for characterizing recent tectonic *** research employs GIS techniques to elucidate tectonic activity and its influence on drainage patterns in the Nandakini Watershed,utilizing morphometric parameters derived from SRTM DEM *** indices are employed to assess the tectonic movement within drainage basins,capturing both areal and linear factors such as drainage density,texture,circulatory and bifurcation ratios,and stream length *** linear and areal morphometric indices are categorized into three classes representing varying degrees of active tectonic *** classifications are then utilized to compute the relative active tectonic index(IRAT).In addition,geomorphic parameters include hypsometric integral,stream length-gradient index,normalized steepness index,chi gradient index,and swath *** majority of the studied region is in an extremely high to moderately active tectonic ***-scale faults and thrusts within the basins are closely correlated with these zones that have been *** integrated methodology of GIS-based morphometric analysis and geomorphic study enables the identification of deformed landforms associated with ongoing tectonic ***,these results offer valuable insights for informing watershed management strategies and promoting sustainable land use planning initiatives.

In this research work, atomic and molecular orbitals based analysis has been made to see electronic structure of platinum halides (platinum dichloride, platinum dibromide, platinum diiodide and platinum difluride). The geometry optimization and three dimensional (3D) modeling of the above mentioned species have been made on CAChe pro software. The results show: (i) The involvement of three p atomic orbitals is negligible as their summation values are very low in comparison to d orbital and considerably low with respect to s orbital. (ii) The study well support the Landis concepts of sdn-hybridation (here n = 1) as bond angle and contributions of s-orbital and d-orbital of Pt(II) are maximum with negligible contribution of p-orbitals. (iii) These halides also support the cloud-expanding effect with experimental data and also follow the nephelauxetic effect. The result is in good agreement with experiment results that covalent character increases in the order: PtI2 > PtBr2 > PtCl2 > PtF2. (iv) And thus the study will help to fine tune the existing complexes of these halides.

The properties of dust ion acoustic waves are investigated in an unmagnetized multicomponent plasma system consisting of ion beam, charged positive and negative ions, electrons obeying nonthermal-Tsallis distribution and stationary negatively charged dust grains by the conventional Sagdeev pseudopotential method, through which the condition for existence of several nonlinear structures is analyzed theoretically. The dispersion relation for electrostatic waves is derived and analyzed and an expression of the energy integral equation is obtaJned. It is reported here that our plasma model supports solitions, double layers and supersoliton solutions for certain range of parameters. Finally, the effects of different physical plasma parameters on these nonlinear structures are studied numerically. The present theory should be helpful in understanding the salient features of the electrostatic waves in space and in laboratory plasmas where two distinct groups of ions and non-Maxwellian distributed electrons are present.

Wind energy systems (WESs) based on doubly-fed induction generators (DFIGs) have enormous potential for meeting the future demands related to clean energy. Due to the low inertia and intermittency of power injection, a WES is equipped with a virtual inertial controller (VIC) to support the system during a frequency deviation event. The frequency deviation measured by a phase locked loop (PLL) installed on a point of common coupling (PCC) bus is the input signal to the VIC. However, a VIC with an improper inertial gain could deteriorate the damping of the power system, which may lead to instability. To address this issue, a mathematical formulation for calculating the synchronizing and damping torque coefficients of a WES-integrated single-machine infinite bus (SMIB) system while considering PLL and VIC dynamics is proposed in this paper. In addition, a power system stabilizer (PSS) is designed for wind energy integrated power systems to enhance electromechanical oscillation damping. A small-signal stability assessment is performed using the infinite bus connected to a synchronous generator of higher-order dynamics integrated with a VIC-equipped WES. Finally, the performance and robustness of the proposed PSS is demonstrated through time-domain simulation in SMIB and nine-bus test systems integrated with WES under several case studies.

A series of novel low band gap donor-acceptor （D-A） type organic co-polymers （BT-F-TPA, BT-CZ-TPA and BT-SI-TPA） consisting of electron-deficient acceptor blocks both in main chains （M1） and at the pendant （M2） were polymerized with different electron rich donor （M3-M5） blocks, i.e., 9,9-dihexyl-9H-fluorene, N-alkyl-2,7-carbazole, and 2,6-dithinosilole, respectively, via Suzuki method. These polymers exhibited relatively low band gaps （1.65-1.88 eV） and broad absorption ranges （680-740 nm）. Bulk heterojunction （BHJ） solar cells incorporating these polymers as electron donors, blended with [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester （PC61BM） or [6,6]-phenyl-Cvl-butyric acid methyl ester （PC71BM） as electron-acceptors in different weight ratios were fabricated and tested under 100 mW/cm2 of AM 1.5 with white-light illumination. The photovoltaic device containing donor BT-SI-TPA and acceptor PC71BM in 1：2 weight ratio showed the best power conversion efficiency （PCE） value of 1.88%, with open circuit voltage （Voc） = 0.75 V, short circuit current density （Jsc） = 7.60 mA/cm2, and fill factor （FF） = 33.0%.

The nonlinear features of two-dimensional ion acoustic(IA) solitary and shock structures in a dissipative electron-positron-ion(EPI) quantum plasma are investigated. The dissipation in the system is taken into account by incorporating the kinematic viscosity of ions in plasmas. A quantum hydrodynamic(QHD) model is used to describe the quantum plasma system. The propagation of small but finite amplitude solitons and shocks is governed by the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-Burger(KPB) equation. It is observed that depending on the values of plasma parameters(*** diffraction, positron concentration, viscosity), both compressive and rarefactive solitons and shocks are found to exist. Furthermore, the energy of the soliton is computed and possible solutions of the KPB equation are presented numerically in terms of the monotonic and oscillatory shock profiles
