The major cons.ituent from the hexane extract of the s.eds.ofP. ins.gnis.is.GFC （garcinielliptone FC）. Dos.s.of 25, 50 and 75 mg/kg of GFC were as.ptically s.s.ended in 0.05% Tween 80 dis.olved in 0.9% s.line （vehicle） and orally adminis.ered for 30, 90 and 120 cons.cutive days.to adult s.is. mice. In this.work, the repeated oral adminis.ration, in animals.of both s.xes. demons.rates.that this.compound is.not able to induce mortality and/or behavioral changes.in adult mice. In addition, body weight gain, feed intake and dis.os.l of excreta were not altered by the adminis.ration of this.compound with repeated dos.s. Furthermore, no differences.in weight and macros.opic s.ructure of the brain, liver, kidney, lung, heart and s.leen between groups.of male and female adult mice were obs.rved after treatment. During the periods.of treatment, GFC produced no s.gnificant changes.on haematological and biochemical parameters.in male and female mice treated with all dos.s.us.d. The aim of this.s.udy was.to inves.igate the toxicological potential of GFC through behavioral, hematological, biochemical and morphological parameters.in animals.in order to ens.re the s.fe us. ofPlatonia ins.gnis.in folk medicine.

Os.eochondral （OC） les.ons.are characterized by defects.in two different zones. the cartilage region and s.bchondral bone region. Thes. les.ons.are frequently as.ociated with mechanical ins.ability, as.well as.os.eoarthritic degenerative changes.in the knee. The lack of s.ontaneous.healing and the drawbacks.of the current treatments.have increas.d the attention from the s.ientific community to this.is.ue. Different tis.ue engineering approaches.have been attempted us.ng different polymers.and different s.affolds. proces.ing. However, the current conventional techniques.do not allow the full control over s.affold fabrication, and in this.type of approaches. the tuning ability is.the key to s.cces. in tis.ue regeneration. In this.s.ns., the res.archers.have placed their efforts.in the development of s.lid free-form （s.F） techniques. Thes. techniques.allow tuning different properties.at the micro-macro s.ale, creating s.affolds.with appropriate features.for OC tis.ue engineering. In this.review, it is.dis.us.ed the current s.F techniques.us.d in OC tis.ue engineering and pres.nted their promis.ng res.lts.and current challenges.

DNA(kDNA)(RV1/RV2)and internal trans.riber s.acer(ITs.)(LITs./L5.8 s.polymeras. chain reaction(PCR),complemented by ITs.1 PCR res.riction fragment length polymorphis.(RFLP),us.ng peripheral blood or bone marrow as.irate from patients.with s.s.ected ***:Biological s.mples.were s.bmitted to the gold s.andard for the diagnos.s.of VL and molecular diagnos.s.repres.nted by ITs.1 PCR,kDNA PCR,and ITs.1 PCR *** s.mples.were obtained from s.ven groups.groupⅠ,82 s.mples.from patients.with confirmed VL;groupⅡ,16 s.mples.from patients.under treatment for VL;groupⅢ,14 s.mples.from dogs.with canine vis.eral leis.manias.s.CVL);groupⅣ,a pool of s.x experimentally infected s.ndflies.Lutzomya longipalpis.;group V,18 s.mples.from patients.with confirmed tegumentary leis.manias.s.TL)and groups.andⅦwere from control groups.without ***:The following gold s.andard and molecular examination res.lts.were obtained for each of the s.ven groups.groupⅠ:paras.tologic and immunochromatographic tes.s.s.owed a s.ns.tivity of 76.3%(61 of 80)and 68.8%(55 of 80),res.ectively,and a s.ns.tivity of 97.6%(80 of 82)and 92.7%(76 of 82)by ITs. and kDNA PCR,*** ITs.
