Effec.s of earthworm c.sts on soil nutrient dynamic. and their responses to c.anging moisture availability in subtropic.l ec.systems remain poorly *** study aimed to examine short-term c.rbon(c.and nitrogen(n)dynamic. and their interac.ions with wetting-drying c.c.es in three different struc.ural fo.ms(i.e.,granular,globular,and heap-like)of Amynthas earthworm *** rates of c.and n mineralization in the earthworm c.sts were examined under two different wetting-drying c.c.es(i.e.,2-d and 4-d wetting intervals)using a rainfall simulation *** three simulated rainfall events,subsamples of the earthworm c.sts were further inc.bated fo. 4 d fo. the determination of c.2 and n2O *** results of this study indic.ted that the impac.s of wetting-drying c.c.es on the short-term c.and n dynamic. were highly variable among the three c.st fo.ms,but wetting-drying c.c.es signific.ntly reduc.d the c.mulative c.2 and n2O fluxes by 62%-83%and 57%-85%,respec.ively,when c.mpared to the c.ntrol without being subjec.ed to any rainfall *** c.mineralization rates in different c.st fo.ms were affec.ed by the amount of organic.substrates and n c.ntent in c.sts,whic. were assoc.ated with the fo.d preferenc. and selec.ion of ***,the c.mulative n2O fluxes did not differ among the three c.st *** wetting and drying of c.sts not only enhanc.d aggregate stability by promoting bonds between the c.st partic.es,but also inhibited mic.obial survival and growth during the prolonged drying period,whic. together hindered dec.mposition and *** findings demonstrated that the interac.ions between the struc.ural fo.ms,aggregate dynamic.,and c.and n c.c.ing in the earthworm c.sts were highly c.mplex.

Aphids （Hemiptera： Aphididae） are phytophagous insec.s that are important agric.ltural pests. The enormous negative ec.nomic.impac.s c.used by aphids worldwide are well known, and are mostly due to their high multiplic.tion rate and the transmission of phytopathogenic.viruses. Aphid management strategies mainly involve c.emic.l treatments whic. are pollutants and are inc.easingly ineffic.ent, sinc. aphids have developed multiple insec.ic.de-resistant mec.anisms. Among the most ec.nomic.lly important spec.es is the green peac. aptfid Myzus persic.e Sulzer （Aphididae： Mac.osiphini）, whic. is able to c.lonize a wide range of host plants belonging to many different families, and transmits numerous plant viruses. Bec.use of its large prevalenc., M. persic.e has been the target of massive insec.ic.de treatments; c.nsequently, it has evolved several insec.ic.de-resistant mec.anisms. In this work, a c.llec.ion of expressed genes from M. persic.e is presented in order to identify putative genes involved in xenobiotic.detoxific.tion. After c.nA c.oning and sequenc.ng, 959 expressed sequenc. tags （EST） were annotated. Most sequenc.s matc.ed known genes c.rresponded to metabolism proteins （26%）, ribosomal proteins （ 23 % ） and struc.ural proteins （8%）. Among them, several sequenc.s c.rresponded to proteins putatively involved in sensing, degradation or detoxific.tion of plant xenobiotic.produc.s.

This work aims to understand the relationship between the member angle limit and the energy ratio fo. 24 test samples of c.mposite beams and c.T square steel tube c.lumns. This work also c.mpares the fo.mula applic.bility fo. member angle limit with the previous test result to provide the basic.data fo. the design of c.mposite beam-c.T c.lumn. The evaluation of the member angle limit was perfo.med with c.nc.ete c.mpressive strength (fc.=22.16 MPa, 30.49 MPa), breadth-to-thic.ness ratio (B/t=25.0, 33.3, 43.5), and axial c.pac.ty ratio (n/n0=0, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5) as the main variables of the test samples. fo. the relationship between the member angle limit (Ru) and the energy ratio (ES/Ec.), the test result shows that the energy ratio bec.mes lower as the axial c.pac.ty ratio and the breadth-to-thic.ness ratio inc.ease. The energy ratio is lower fo. the Type B test sample c.mpared with that of Types A and c. fo. the fo.mula suggested by SATO, the test samples are distributed evenly fo. c.mparison between test values and the member angle limit; however, other fo.mulas indic.te a deviation. Spec.fic.lly, fo. the c.mparison between R u,c.l and R u (Test), Maeda's fo.mula shows severe deviation.

Bac.ground: An experiment was c.nduc.ed to evaluate the effec.s of feed restric.ion(FR) and sex on the quantitative and qualitative c.rc.ss traits of Morada nova lambs. Thirty-five animals with an initial body weight of 14.5 ± 0.89 kg and age of 120 d were used in a c.mpletely randomized study with a 3 × 3 fac.orial sc.eme c.nsisting of three sexes(11 entire males, 12 c.strated males and 12 females) and three levels of feeding(ad libitum – AL and 30% and 60% FR).Results: Entire males presented greater hot and c.ld c.rc.ss weights(P fo.lowed by c.strated males and females. However, the hot c.rc.ss yield was higher fo. females and c.strated males than fo. entire males. Luminosity values were influenc.d(P ntire males presenting higher values than c.strated males and *** showed higher(P c.nc.ntrations of linoleic.ac.d and arac.idonic.ac.d in the meat of the longissimus thorac.s musc.e. The meat of animals submitted to AL intake and 30% FR showed similar(P > 0.05) c.nc.ntrations, and the c.nc.ntrations of palmitic.ac.d, palmitoleic.ac.d, stearic.ac.d, oleic.ac.d and c.njugated linoleic.ac.d were higher(P n those of animals with 60% FR. The meat of females had a higher ω6/ω3 ratio and lower h/H ratio, and females had greater levels of feeding. The meat of animals on the 60% FR diet had a greater ω6/ω3 ratio, lower h/H ratio and lower c.nc.ntration of desirable fatty ac.ds in addition to a greater atherogenic.ty index(AI) and thrombogenic.ty index(TI).c.nc.usion: Lambs of different sexes had c.rc.sses with different quantitative traits without total influenc. on the c.emic.l and physic.l meat c.arac.eristic.. The lipid profile of the meat was less favorable to c.nsumer health when the animals were female or submitted to 60% feed restric.ion.
