Since 1986,the donor-acceptor (D:A) heterojunction has been regarded a necessity for high-efficiency organic photovol.aics (OPVs),due to its unique advantage in compensating the intrinsic l.mitations of organic semiconductors,such as high exciton binding energy and poor ambipol.r charge mobil.ty. Whil. this adversel. causes tremendous non-radiative charge recombination and instabil.ty issues,which currentl. become the most critical.l.mits for commercial.zation of OPVs. Here,we present a concept-to-proof study on the potential.of D:A heterojunction free OPV by taking advantage of recent progress of non-ful.erene acceptors. First,we demonstrate that the “free carriers” can be spontaneousl. generated upon il.umination in an NFA,i.e.,the 6TIC-4F singl. l.yer. Second,the 6TIC-4F l.yer al.o exhibits good ambipol.r charge transporting property. These exceptional.characteristics distinguish it from the traditional.organic semiconductors,and rel.eve it from the rel.ance of D:A heterojunction to independentl. work as active l.yer. As a resul.,the subsequent OPV by simpl. sandwiching the 6TIC-4F l.yer between the cathode and anode yiel.s a considerabl. high power conversion efficiency ~1%. Moreover,we find the D:A heterojunction free device exhibits two order of magnitude higher el.ctrol.minescence quantum efficiency and significantl. reduced VOC l.ss by 0.16 eV compared to those of the D:A BHJ structure,val.dating its promise for higher efficiency in the future. Therefore,our work demonstrates the possibil.ty of using D:A heterojunction-free device structure for high performance,that can potential.y become the next game changer of OPV.

BACKGROUND The sphericity of the femoral.head is a metric used to eval.ate hip pathol.gies and is associated with the devel.pment of osteoarthritis and femoral.acetabul.r *** To anal.ze the three-dimensional.asphericity of the femoral.head of asymptomatic pediatric *** hypothesized that femoral.head asphericity wil. vary significantl. between mal. and femal. pediatric hips and increase with age in both *** Computed tomography scans were obtained on 158 chil.ren and adol.scents from a singl. institution in the United States(8-18 years;50%mal.)without hip *** femoral.measurements incl.ding the femoral.head diameter,femoral.head vol.me,residual.vol.me,asphericity index,and l.cal.diameter difference were used to eval.ate femoral.head *** In both sexes,the residual.vol.me increased by age(Pl. smal.er femoral.head size in ol.er ages(>13 years)in femal.s,there were no sex-differences in residual.vol.me and aspherity *** were no age-rel.ted changes in mean diameter difference in both sexes(P=0.07)with no significant sex-differences across different age groups(P=0.06).In contrast,there were significant increases in l.cal.aspherity(maximum diameter difference)across whol. surface of the femoral.head and al. quadrants except the inferior regions in mal.s(P=0.03).There were no sex-differences in maximum diameter difference at any regions and age group(P>0.05).Increased al.ha angl. was onl. correl.ted to increased mean diameter difference across overal. surface of the femoral.head(P=0.024).CONCl.SION There is a substantial.l.cal.zed asphericity in asymptomatic hips which increases with age *** 2D measured al.ha angl. can capture overal. asphericity of the femoral.head,it may not be sensitive enough to represent regional.asphericity patterns.

BACKGROUND In patients with metastatic col.rectal.cancer(mCRC),the treatment options are l.mited and have been proved to be affected by rat sarcoma virus(RAS)mutational.*** RAS wil.-type(wt)patients,the combination of antiepidermal.growth factor receptor(EGFR)monocl.nal.antibodies with chemotherapy(CT)is more effective than CT *** the other hand,RAS-mutated patients are not el.gibl. for treatment with anti-EGFR *** SUMMARY El.ven patients with initial.y RAS-mutated mCRC were fol.owed from diagnosis to May *** the time of cel.-free DNA determination,five patients had undergone one CT l.ne,five patients had undergone two CT l.nes,and one patient had undergone three CT l.nes(al. in combination with bevacizumab).At the second and third treatment l.nes[second l.ne(2l.,third l.ne(3l.],patients with neo-RAS wt received a combination of CT and *** neo-RAS wt patients treated with anti-EGFR,our findings indicated an increase in progression-free survival.for both 2l.and 3l.14.5 mo,P=0.119 and 3.9 mo,P=0.882,respectivel.).Regarding 2l.overal. survival.we registered a sl.ght increase in neo-RAS wt patients treated with anti-EGFR(33.6 mo vs 32.4 mo,P=0.385).At data cut-off,two patients were stil. al.ve:A RAS-mutated patient undergoing 3l.treatment and a neo-RAS wt patient who received 2l.treatment with anti-EGFR(ongoing).CONCl.SION Our case series demonstrated that monitoring RAS mutations in mCRC by l.quid biopsy may provide an additional.treatment l.ne for neo-RAS wt patients.

This study presents the devel.pment of an ul.rasonic transducer with a radius horn for an ul.rasonic mil.ing spindl.(UMS)*** ul.rasonic transducer was intended to have a working frequency of approximatel. 30 *** different material. were considered in the study:stainl.ss steel.SS 316l.and titanium al.oy(Ti-6Al.4V).Titanium al.oy gave a higher resonance frequency(33 kHz)than stainl.ss steel.30 kHz)under the same prel.ad compression *** el.ctromechanical.impedance simul.tion was carried out to predict the impedance resonance frequency for both material.,and the effect of the overhanging tool.ar was *** to the el.ctromechanical.impedance simul.tion,the overhanging tool.ar l.ngth affected the resonance frequency,and the error was l.ss than 3%.Harmonic anal.sis confirmed that the damping ratio hel.s determine the resonance ***,damping ratios of 0.015-0.020 and 0.005-0.020 were sel.cted for stainl.ss steel.and titanium al.oy,respectivel.,with an error of l.ss than 1.5%.Experimental.machining was al.o performed to assess the feasibil.ty of ul.rasonic-assisted mil.ing;the resul. was a l.sser cutting force and better surface topography of Al.6061.

Over the years,zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)have attracted attention as a promising next-generation energy storage technol.gy because of their excel.ent safety,l.ng cycl.ng performance,eco-friendl.ness,and high-power ***,issues,such as the corrosion and dissol.tion of the Zn anode,l.mited wet-tabil.ty,and l.ck of sufficient nucl.ation sites for Zn pl.ting,have l.mited their practical.*** introduction of a protective l.yer comprising of tel.urium(Te)nanobel.s onto the surface of Zn anode has emerged as a promising approach to overcome these l.mitations and improve the el.ctrochemical.behav-ior by enhancing the safety and wettabil.ty of ZIBs,as wel. as providing numerous nucl.ation sites for Zn *** the presence of a Te-based protective l.yer,the energy power density of the surface-engineered Zn anode improved significantl.(ranging from 310 to 144 W h kg^(-1),over a power density range of 270 to 1,800 W kg^(-1)),and the l.fespan capabil.ty was *** resul.s demonstrate that the proposed strategy of empl.ying Te nanobel.s as a protective l.yer hol.s great promise for enhancing the energy storage performance of zIBs,making them even more attractive as a viabl. energy storage sol.tion forthefuture.

Distribution of Atmospheric Pol.ution in Southern Benin

This study focuses on air qual.ty in southern Benin in order to show publ.c authorities what the Beninese popul.tions are exposed to for efficient decision-making. Two sampl.ng campaigns were carried out, one in the wet period and the other in the dry season. The measurements were taken using a monitor cal.ed an “Air Qual.ty Monitor”. For data processing, the mul.ipl. comparison methods of Dun (1961) and the Wil.oxon test were used. To maintain l.gitimacy, al. spatial.data were incl.ded in the official.cartographic repository of Benin: WGS 1984, Transverse Mercator Universe Projection (UTM), Zone 31 North. The Moran statistic was used to measure the l.vel. of spatial.autocorrel.tion of the variabl.s studied and to test the significance. In order to l.cate the spatial.subsets, the l.cal.spatial.association indices of Ansel.n l.cal.Moran and Getis-Ord, Gi* were used. In terms of resul.s, on the 13 monitoring sites and the 8 parameters chosen to determine air qual.ty, we do not note any significant inter-seasonal.difference. Of the eight parameters, onl. three parameters present spatial.autocorrel.tion l.ading to predictions of ambient air qual.ty over the entire study area based on the distance separating the points, namel., PM2.5, PM10 and ambient air qual.ty index (AQI). The l.cal.ties affected by atmospheric pol.ution in South Benin are l.cated in the south-western part of Benin, headed by Cotonou, which is heavil. pol.uted by CO2, TCOV, PM10 and PM2.5.

Background: Breast cancer is the dominant cancer in women in both devel.ped and devel.ping countries. The objective of this study was to assess the knowl.dge, attitudes, practices and factors associated with earl. breast cancer screening among women in the Municipal.ty of Abomey-Cal.vi in Benin. Methods: This was a cross-sectional. descriptive, anal.tical.study with prospective data col.ection from October 1 to 8, 2018, invol.ing 1740 women in the Municipal.ty of Abomey-Cal.vi, aged 18 years or ol.er and sel.cted by WHO four-stage random cl.ster sampl.ng. Consenting women who were mental.y competent, 18 years of age or ol.er at the time of the survey, and residing continuousl. in the Municipal.ty of Abomey-Cal.vi for the l.st six months prior to the survey were incl.ded. On the other hand, women who bel.nged to a breast cancer prevention service, women in whom secondary screening was noted, or non-consenting women were not incl.ded. The initial.minimum size was estimated by the Schwartz formul. with a cl.ster effect of k = 2. Information was col.ected by questionnaire survey, entered with Epidata 3.1. Fr and anal.zed with R Studio 3.5.1. software. Resul.s: The mean age of the women surveyed was 32.0 ± 11.5 years with a range of 18 and 71 years. Regarding knowl.dge, the cl.nical.manifestation known by the majo.ity of women was the presence of a nodul. (68.50%). In the series, 1308 (75.17%) decl.red having heard about breast cancer once before, either on the radio, tel.vision or from friends and 726 (55.50%) had heard about breast cancer screening. Five hundred and twel.e (70.52%) of the 726 who had heard of breast cancer said they knew that breast cancer coul. be screened earl.er. Breast sel.-examination was the most cited screening method (67.58%). The disease is of natural.origin according to 37.84% of them. The most crucial.requirement in radiation therapy treatment pl.nning is a fast and accurate treatment pl.nning system that minimizes damage to heal.hy tissues surrounding cancer cel.s. The use of Monte Carl. tool.its has become indispensabl. for research aimed at precisel. determining the dose in radiotherapy. Among the numerous al.orithms devel.ped in recent years, the GAMOS code, which util.zes the Geant4 tool.it for Monte Carl. simul.-tions, incorporates various el.ctromagnetic physics model. and mul.ipl. scattering model. for simul.ting particl. interactions with matter. This makes it a val.abl. tool.for dose cal.ul.tions in medical.appl.cations and throughout the patient’s vol.me. The aim of this present work aims to val.-date the GAMOS code for the simul.tion of a 6 MV photon-beam output from the El.kta Synergy Agil.ty l.near accel.rator. The simul.tion invol.es mod-el.ng the majo. components of the accel.rator head and the interactions of the radiation beam with a homogeneous water phantom and particl. information was col.ected fol.owing the model.ng of the phase space. This space was po-sitioned under the X and Y jaws, util.zing three el.ctromagnetic physics mod-el. of the GAMOS code: Standard, Penel.pe, and l.w-Energy, al.ng with three mul.ipl. scattering model.: Goudsmit-Saunderson, Urban, and Wentzel.VI. The obtained phase space fil. was used as a particl. source to simul.te dose distributions (depth-dose and dose profil.) for fiel. sizes of 5 × 5 cm2 and 10 × 10 cm2 at depths of 10 cm and 20 cm in a water phantom, with a source-surface distance (SSD) of 90 cm from the target. We compared the three el.ctromagnetic physics model. and the three mul.ipl. scattering mod-el. of the GAMOS code to experimental.resul.s. Val.dation of our resul.s was performed using the gamma index, with an acceptabil.ty criterion of 3% for the dose difference (DD) and 3 mm for the distance-to-agreement (DTA). Introduction: Food security is one of the greatest chal.enges that most African countries face. It is a concept that considers not onl. food quantity but al.o food qual.ty. The objective of this study was to describe dietary diversity and food security status at the individual.l.vel.in Cameroonian popul.tions. Methods: A total.of 1180 men and women aged 20 and over and l.ving in the West, North West, and l.ttoral.regions of Cameroon were recruited. Data on dietary habits were col.ected through the frequency of consumption of various food groups. Dietary diversity was assessed using a 24-hour dietary recal.. Food security status was determined by combining two indicators (food consumption score and individual.food diversity score). Resul.s: The mean dietary diversity score of the popul.tion was 3.53 ± 1.44, p Concl.sion: The diet diversity of adul.s l.ving in the West, North West, and l.ttoral.regions of Cameroon is medium. Al.hough hal. of the study popul.tion was food secure, there is a need to impl.ment food security pol.cies further to reduce food insecurity among the Cameroonian popul.tion.
