Background and Aims:Lamivudine(3TC),telbivudine(LdT),entecavir(ETV),adefovir(ADF),and tenofovir(TFV)are drugs used to treat hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection,but specific mutations allow some viruses to become resistant to antiviral drugs or to acquire immune escape *** mutations have not been thoroughly investigated in *** study aimed to estimate the prevalence of HBV antiviral resistance and escape ***:This cross-sectional study analyzed 158 *** DNA was extracted,amplified,and sequenced in serum samples using the spin column method,PCR assay,and sanger’s sequencing,*** genotypes were determined,and HBV mutations were tested using the Geno2pheno ***:overall,68.4%(108/158)of HBV patients were infected with genotype H,followed by G(11.4%,18/158),A2(10.8%,17/158),F1b(6.9.0%,11/158),D(1.9%,3/158),and E(0.6%,1/158),and 5.1%(8/158)had evidence of *** prevalence of resistance mutations was 8.2%(13/158)and the most common combined mutation was rt180M+***,we found the combinations rt180M+rt204V+rt173L(n=2)and rt180M+rt204V+rt202G(n=1)that confer multidrug resistance to 3TC,LdT,and *** mutations were found in genotypes A2(11.8%,2/17),and H(10.2%,11/108),and escape mutations were detected in HBV genotypes A2(11.8%,2/17),H(10.2%,11/108),F1b(9.1%,1/11)and G(5.6%,1/18).Conclusions:The highest prevalence of antiviral resistance mutations or escape mutations was detected in HBV genotypes A2 and *** earliest cases of HBV multidrug resistance were detected in Mexico.

The new lanthanum (Ⅲ) and praseodymium (Ⅲ) complexes of the general formula [Ln(L)3] (Ln=La(Ⅲ) or pr(Ⅲ); LK=potassium salt of dithiocarbazinates) were prepared by both, conventional thermal and by the use of microwave technology. Elemental analyses, electrical conductance, magnetic moment and electronic, infrared, far-infrared, 1H and 13C NMR spectral studies were used to characterize the complexes. The molecular weights of few complexes were determined by FAB-mass spectra. Nephelauxetic ratio, covalency parameter and bonding parameter for these complexes were also calculated. The probable structures of the complexes were proposed. The antifungal and antibacterial activities of the complexes were evaluated. The activities were correlated with the structures of the compounds.

The Coorg Block in southern Peninsular India is one of the oldest crustal blocks on Earth that preserves the evidence for continental crust formation during the Paleo-Mesoarchean through subductionrelated arc magmatism,followed by granulite facies metamorphism in the *** this study,we report for the first time,the'bar codes'of a major Paleoproterozoic Large Igneous province in the Coorg Block through the finding of mafic dyke *** gabbroic dykes from the Coorg Block,dom-inantly composed of plagioclase-pyroxene assemblage,show a restricted range in sio_(2)values of 50.04-51.27 wt.%,and exhibit a sub-alkaline tholeiitic *** rocks show relatively flat LREE and constant HREE patterns and lack obvious Eu *** element modeling suggests that the dyke swarm was fed from a melt that originated at a shallow mantle level in the spinel stability *** grains are rare in the gabbro samples and those separated from two samples yielded 207Pb/206Pb weighted mean dates of 2214±12 Ma and 2221±7 *** grains show magmatic features with depleted LREE and enriched HREE and positive Ce and negative Eu *** grains were dated from five gabbro samples which yielded 207Pb/206Pb weighted mean ages ranging between 2217±7 Ma and 2228±10 *** combined data show a clear age peak at ca.2.2 *** mafic dykes in the Coorg Block show geochemical similarities with ca.2.2 Ga mafic dyke swarms in different regions of the Dharwar and other cratons in Peninsular India and elsewhere on the *** data also support the inference that the global mafic magmatism at ca.2.2 Ga was linked with intracontinental rifting of the Archean cratons through mantle upwelling or plume *** correlate the mafic dyke swarms in the Coorg Block with attempted rifting of the Neoarchean supercontinent Kenorland.

The sergipano orogenic system(sos)in southern Borborema province(NE Brazil)hosts voluminous Neoproterozoic plutonism related to the Brasiliano/Pan-African *** paper presents comprehensive whole-rock geochemical data,titanite U-Pb ages,and the first combined zircon U-Pb and Lu-Hf isotope results for plutonic rocks from the MacururéDomain to constrain their sources,petrogenesis,and tectonic *** magmatic episodes are recognized and record the evolutionary stages of the orogen.(i)Early-collisional magmatism(643–628 Ma)comprises gabbros and diorites with minor tonalites characterized by well-developed tectonic foliation and evidence of solid-state *** rocks are magnesian,high-K calc-alkaline,LILE-and LREE-enriched and provide subchondriticε_(Hf)(t)values(6.5 to4.7)and orosirian Hf-T^(C)_(DM)model ages(1.83–1.94 Ga).such features indicate derivation from a lithospheric mantle source metasomatized by incorporating crustal components through subduction processes prior to magma generation,possibly related to the Rhyacian orogeny(2.20–1.96 Ga).Extensive mixing/mingling between basaltic and crust-derived magmas took place at lower crustal depths,producing coeval hybrid diorites and quartz-diorites.(ii)syn-collisional magmatism(630–624 Ma)encompasses biotite-and muscovite-bearing granodiorites and monzogranites,preserving their structures parallel to the schistosity of the country *** rocks are leucocratic,weakly metaluminous to peraluminous,and contain abundant surmicaceous *** features and geochemical composition suggest an origin related to the partial melting of graywacke protoliths with a subordinate igneous component.(iii)Late-collisional magmatism(625–600 Ma)includes undeformed and isotropic monzonites and granodiorites,which truncate the regional *** rocks are consistently metaluminous and magnesian,showing affinities with the high-K calc-alkaline to shoshonite *** element modeling with su

A major concern from the scientific community has been raised since evidence of Bisphenol A(BP-A)can leach out from the products where they are incorporated as well as its endocrine disrupting effects observed in animals and ***-A and several related chemicals such as Bisphenol AP(BP-AP),Bisphenol B(BPeB),Bisphenol s(BPes),Bisphenol AF(BP-AF),Bisphenol(BPeP),Bisphenol Z(BP-Z)were analyzed in this ***-A and BP-s were the only bisphenols detected in the samples analyzed in this *** median(range;mean)concentrations of BP-A found in this study was 321 ng/g(11-200932;4893 ng/g).The analysis was carried out by sonicating 0.1 g of a cryo-milled sample aliquot in methanol followed by UPLC-Ms/Ms *** concentrations of BP-A were found in several products labeled as BP-A free such as nursing bottles which are particularly problematic from the children's exposure point of *** study presents the first reliable bisphenols in children's toys and baby products commercialized in the Middle *** is,however,a need to continue monitoring these compounds,especially in low-cost toys,and the so-called BP-A-free products,which appear to have high levels of target contaminants and can pose an exposure risk for infants and children in the region.

A new enone (CH 3Co C( p No 2C 6H 4Coo)=CH s C 6H 4( p Br) 5, C 17 H 12 NBro 5s, M r =422.25) was synthesized and its crystal structure was determined by X ray diffraction method. The crystal belongs to the monoclinic system, space group P2 1/c with a=6.4121(9), b=12.804(1), c=20.998(2) , β=94.884(9)°, V=1717.1(3) 3, Z=4, D c =1.633 g/cm 3, μ (Mo Kα )=2.542 mm -1 , F( 000)=848. Final R =0.0428 and wR =0.0916 for 3335 reflections with I>2σ(I) . The title compound exists as Z isomer with p bromothiophenolate and o nitrobenzoate groups cis arranged around asymmetrical centre. This observation suggests that the substitution of thiophenolate for bromine is a stereoselective step.

BACKGRoUND primary hepatic leiomyosarcoma is a very rare entity that originates from smooth *** diagnosis requires a high degree of suspicion due to atypical clinical presentation and non-specific imaging *** sUMMARY We report the case of a 42-year-old man,with no relevant past medical history,accidentally diagnosed with a nodular liver lesion on a routine abdominal *** function tests and hematology parameters as well as tumor markers were normal.A contrast-enhanced abdominal computed tomography scan revealed a heterogenous hepatic lesion measuring 40 mm 30 mm,adjacent to the left branch of the portal vein and the round *** to the unclear diagnosis,the patient underwent surgical *** and immunohistochemical examinations confirmed complete(R0)resection of a hepatic *** patient remains without any signs of tumor recurrence for more than 2 *** We report a rare case of accidentally diagnosed primary hepatic leiomyosarcoma originating from the portal vein or the round *** this tumor has aggressive metastatic potential,a tumor-free resection margin is essential to improve survival.
