Introduction: Hospital Recreation (HR) aims to reduce disasters caused by hospital admission. objectives: To expose the behavior of children in cancer treatment (CA) during HR, and to verify which recreational activities generate the most adherence. Methods: The research is an experimental clinical trial of a non-probabilistic and intentional sample, with a quantitative and qualitative approach. Participants were 43 children (both sexes), with CA, admitted to the Pediatric Hospital oncology Center—PHoC. The mean age of the children in fact was 7.5 years, and the data of mean and standard deviation between parenthood confer with the data of the results found during the research. The study lasted 12 weeks, with 38 sessions lasting 3 hours. Using games of activity: cognitive, manipulative, perceptive, creative and cooperative. Inclusion criteria: 1) being hospitalized in the PHoC, of the city of Natal;2) being released by the medical team to participate in the activities. Children who were on special care in the ICU were excluded from the study. The behavior of the children was evaluated by the observation matrix proposed by Urie Bonfenbrenner, approached by Krebs and Koller. At the end of the research, an interview was made with patients about the HR experience. Results: In the subjects the molecular behavior showed relevance of ~50%, and the cooperative of ~80% in relation to HR, and the cognitive activities showed an adhesion index of ~90%. Conclusion: The participants showed greater adherence in the cognitive activities, and the predominance of the molecular behavior in relation to hospital recreation, highlighting the cooperative behavior among the individuals. In this way, the activities of HR can complement conventional medical treatment.

With the visual illusion of the mirror,Mirror Therapy,models the primary somatosensory cortex,cortical and muscular excitability,stimulating cortical reorganization and sensorimotor *** have shown to be effective in improving motor function in short and medium term,in activities of daily living,in visuospatial neglect and in reducing pain,especially in patients with complex regional pain ***:To report the perception of occupational Therapists regarding the application of Mirror Therapy in professional ***,what factors lead to its application,what are the effects and benefits of the technique,what are its advantages and ***:In the perception of occupational Therapists,the Mirror Therapy technique has the following benefits:significant decrease in pain,improved sensitivity and functionality of the upper limb,unblocking movements in the affected limb,decreased phantom pain;as negative aspects:difficulties in spatial/environmental control,patient's perceptual/cognitive skills,high level of concentration/attention,absence of scientific evidence in neurological ***:For the interviewed occupational Therapists,the Mirror Therapy is a safe and useful technique to be applied in your professional practice that has been showing positive results in the functional recovery of patients,however,it lacks studies that identify the appropriate time to start its application and the explanation of an intervention protocol.

Threats to Independence in Assurance of Sustainability Reports

A growing number of companies are submitting their sustainability reports to an external assurance ***,this fact is raising theoretical questions regarding the independence of the assurance *** this context,the objective of this work is to verify how it is possible to threat the independence in assurance of sustainability *** research is bibliographical and *** sustainability reports were analyzed from 2007 to *** case is the enterprise Vale *** result shows that there was no concomitant execution of audit and assurance services by the company;there are approaches to reporting independence,either in the title or in a specific paragraph;it exists an identification of the recipient,varying between board of directors,shareholders and other interested parties,nevertheless,throughout 2013-2014,there was no *** issued from 2013 to 2016 show that improvements need to be made by the assured *** in these cases is questionable,since the assurer may act as a consultant,which demonstrates management *** audit of the financial statements and assurance services may cause an impression of threats to independence;however,the results did not show it in the analyzed *** researches concerning assurance of sustainability reports independence are recommended.

Microalbuminuria and Kidney Disease Risk in HIV Patients Taking Combined Antiretroviral Therapy

objectives: This study proposes to evaluate risk factors for kidney disease in HIV patients treated chronically and correlate with microalbuminuria measurements. Methods: Review charts and analyses of microalbuminuria in subgroup of HIV patients treated at Ceara/Brazil. Results: 149 patients, 69.1% male, mean 38.5 years old, infection mean 86.8 months. Mean Creatinine Clearance 110.2%, Creatinine 0.97, Urea 27.76 mg/dl, CD4+ 600.37 cels/mm3 and detectable viral load 530.59 copies with 61.7% undetectable. Mean Dosages of microalbuminuria/24h 147, 46 ± 820, 45 (N = 48) and microalbuminuria (mg/dl) 32.05 ± 85.25 (N = 43). Kidney Diseases Classification analyses evidenced 6.4% patients in stages ≥3 and 6.2% presented altered Microalbuminuria/24h. Patients using Tenofovir (TDF) 27.27% had Stage 2 and protease inhibitors (PI) had 4.1% in Stage 3. Proteinuria was observed in 5% stage ≥3. Association PI/TDF had 4.1% in Stage 3. No statistical difference between CD4 > or 3 and microalbuminuria/24h > 300 mg (p = 0.69);detectable/undetectable viral load and microalbuminuria/24h (p = 0.63) or stage ≥3 (p = 0.17);relation to Diabetes or arterial hypertension and microalbuminuria 24 h (p = 0.5 and p = 0.21);relation stage ≥3 and microalbuminuria/24h (p = 0.33);relation HIV diagnoses >/onths and stage ≥3 (p = 0.51);or microalbuminuria/24h and TDF (p = 0.4), PI (p = 1), TDF/PI (p = 0.69), Atazanavir (p = 0.4) or Lopinavir/r (p = 1) regimens. There was statistical significance comparing age > or or oalbuminuria/24h (p = 0.55) or microalbuminuria mg/d (p = 0.32). Relating comorbidities risk (Diabetes Mellitus plus Systemic Arterial Hypertension) to Kidney Diseases, it was found that 55.5% patients in Stage 3 or above with comorbidities compared with 15% with comorbidities in lower stages (P = 0.005). objective: This study has the objective to know the cultural activities of the senior citizen and their participation in community life as encouraged by Primary Health Care professionals. Methods: This is a quantitative study that was performed on 130 senior citizens in the city of Santa Cruz, in the Brazil state of Rio Grande do Norte. Results: The participation of senior citizens in groups is very beneficial because it increases their autonomy and self-esteem, socialization, well-being and consequently, which leads to a higher quality of life. However, there were some failures in the promotion of healthy aging and the adoption of strategic activities. Conclusions: Based on this observation, it is expected that this study can provide resources for the primary health care professionals to try to stimulate senior citizens by carrying out cultural activities that value and increase their potential, quality of life and self-esteem and, thus, promote active and healthy aging.

Regarding prognosis, patients with a non-ST elevation acute coronary syndrome(ACS) are a very heterogeneous population, with varying risks of early and long-term adverse events. Early risk stratification at admission seems to be essential for a tailored therapeutic strategy. We sought to compare the prognostic value of three ACS risk scores(RSs) and their ability to predict benefit from myocardial revascularization performed during initial hospitalization. Methods and results: We studied 460 consecutive patients admitted to our coronary care unit with an ACS[age: 63± 11 years, 21.5% female, 55% with myocardial infarction(MI)]. For each patient, the Thrombolysis In Myocardial Infarction(TIMI), Platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa in Unstable agina: Receptor Suppression Using Integrilin(PURSUIT), and Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events(GRACE) RSs were calculated using specific variables collected at admission. Their prognostic value was evaluated by the combined endpoint of death or Ml at 1 year. The best cut-off value for each RS, calculated with receiver operating characteristic curves, was used to assess the impact of myocardial revascularization on the combined incidence of death or MI. Death or MI at 1 year was 15.4% (32 deaths/49 MIs). The best predictive accuracy for death or MI at 1 year was obtained by the GRACE RS(AUC)[area under the curve: 0.715; confidence interval(CI: 0.672- 0.756)] but the performance of the PURSUIT RS(AUC: 0.630; CI: 0.584- 0.674), and TIMI RS(AUC: 0.585; CI: 0.539- 0.631) was also good. We found a statistically significant interaction between the risk stratified by the best cut-off value for the GRACE and PURSUIT RSs and myocardial revascularization, with a better prognosis for the high-risk patients. The high-risk patients represented 36.7, 28.7, and 57.8% of the population, for the GRACE, PURSUIT, and TIMI RSs, respectively. Quality of Service to Users of Primary Health Care:A Study of Evaluation

The quality of service to people in Primary Healthcare (PHC) is linked to the provision of quality service by professionals who integrate this service in the community. Accordingly, this study aims to evaluate the service given by health professionals in primary health care, from the user’s perception. This is an evaluative and quantitative study, conducted with people who use the PHC service. 180 adults are interviewed in the city of Santa Cruz, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The results show that most respondents are women. The average age is of 36.65, median of 34.00 and standard deviation of 11,554. With regards to the quality of service, it ranges from fair to good. When performing correlation between the quality of service and time spent to reach the service, most people say that they spend between 0 and 15 minutes from their house to the healthcare service unit. About reception, respondents reported being satisfied and that the service has been responsible and quality for health monitoring. Thus, it is noted that the user classifies the quality of the service in primary healthcare as regular, showing weaknesses that need to be corrected to prevent damage in service provision in Primary Healthcare.
