To address the problem of poor wave resistance of existing offshore floating wind turbines,a new type of semisubmersible platform with truncated-cone-type upper pontoons is proposed by combining the characteristics of offshore wind turbine semi-submersible floating platforms.Based on the coupled hydrodynamic,aerodynamic,and mooring force physical fields of FAST,the surge,heave,pitch,and yaw motions responses of the floating wind turbine under different wave heights and periods are obtained,and the mooring line tension responses are also obtained;and compare the dynamic response of the new semi-submersible platform with the OC4-DeepCwind platformat six degrees of freedom.The results show that different wave conditions have obvious effects on the heave and pitch motions of the new floating wind turbine,and fewer effects on the surge and yaw motions;the tensegrity response of the mooring system is more affected by the wave conditions;compared with the OC4-DeepCwind floating wind turbine,the pitch and roll response of the new floating wind turbine has been significantly reduced and has good stability.

The Synergism between Methanogens and Methanotrophs and the Nature of their Contributions to the Seasonal Variation of Methane Fluxes in a Wetland:The Case of Dajiuhu Subalpine Peatland

To obtain the bearing capacity factor of a high loess-filled foundation in Shaanxi Province,China,a serious of numerical calculations on a nonhomogeneous model were conducted using a unified elastoplastic finite difference method.It was found that the bearing capability factor N increases as the friction angle ratio ζ and cohesive force ratio ζ.Furthermore,the bearing capacity of loess-filled foundation can be improved by increasing the degree of density and adding cementation in construction.As an example,during the construction of the high loess-filled foundation,the bearing capacity was improved by making the degree of density come to 0.93.In addition,the width and depth of the slide surface increase as the friction angle ratio ζ and ζ.

Wetland ecosystems are the most important natural methane(CH_(4))sources,whose fluxes periodically fluctuate.Methanogens(methane producers)and methanotrophs(methane consumers)are considered key factors affecting CH_(4)fluxes in wetlands.However,the symbiotic relationship between methanogens and methanotrophs remains unclear.To help close this research gap,we collected and analyzed samples from four soil depths in the Dajiuhu subalpine peatland in January,April,July,and October 2019 and acquired seasonal methane flux data from an eddy covariance(EC)system,and investigated relationships.A phylogenetic molecular ecological networks(pMENs)analysis was used to identify keystone species and the seasonal variations of the co-occurrence patterns of methanogenic and methanotrophic communities.The results indicate that the seasonal variations of the interactions between methanogenic and methanotrophic communities contributed to CH_(4)emissions in wetlands.The keystone species discerned by the network analysis also showed their importance in mediating CH_(4)fluxes.Methane(CH_(4))emissions in wetlands were lowest in spring;during this period,the most complex interactions between microbes were observed,with intense competition among methanogens while methanotrophs demonstrated better cooperation.Reverse patterns manifested themselves in summer when the highest CH_(4)flux was observed.Methanoregula formicica was negatively correlated with CH_(4)fluxes and occupied the largest ecological niches in the spring network.In contrast,both Methanocella arvoryzae and Methylocystaceae demonstrated positive correlations with CH_(4)fluxes and were better adapted to the microbial community in the summer.In addition,soil temperature and nitrogen were regarded as significant environmental factors to CH_(4)fluxes.This study was successful in explaining the seasonal patterns and microbial driving mechanisms of CH_(4)emissions in wetlands.

Proxy ring signature is a proxy signature designed to protect the privacy of the proxy signer. In this paper, we propose a new proxy ring signature based on the Schnorr’s signature. Our scheme combines the idea of the Schnorr’s signature with the method of existing structure of proxy ring signature. In order to improve the performance, we eliminate the use of bilinear pairing operation. We only use the hash function in the signature verification phase. Because of above features, the proxy ring signature scheme we proposed is more efficient in computation. We also prove that our scheme is unforgeable against all kinds of adversaries in the random oracle model.

To better predict the deformation of the high loess-filled foundation,the values of the parameters of each layer in the high loess-filled foundation are obtained using changing modulus-iterative method.Based on the parameters,the deformation of the high loess-filled foundation during construction was calculated using ideal elastoplastic constitutive model and visco-elastoplastic constitutive model.Comparison between predicted and measured results indicates that the values of the parameters are suitable for predicting the deformation of the high loess-filled foundation.

Extensive studies have been performed to describe the phenotypic changes occurring during malignant transformation of the prostate.However,the cell types and associated changes that contribute to the development of prostate diseases and cancer remain elusive,largely due to the heterogeneous composition of prostatic tissues.Here,we conduct a comprehensive evaluation of four human prostate tissues by singlecell RNA sequencing(sc RNA-seq)to analyze their cellular compositions.We identify 18 clusters of cell types,each with distinct gene expression profiles and unique features;of these,one cluster of epithelial cells(Ep)is found to be associated with immune function.In addition,we characterize a special cluster of fibroblasts and aberrant signaling changes associated with prostate cancer(PCa).Moreover,we provide insights into the epithelial changes that occur during the cellular senescence and aging.These results expand our understanding of the unique functional associations between the diverse prostatic cell types and the contributions of specific cell clusters to the malignant transformation of prostate tissues and PCa development.

Compared with the surface,the deep environment has the advantages of allowing“super-quiet and ultra-clean”-geophysical field observation with low vibration noise and little electromagnetic interference,which are conducive to the realization of long-term and high-precision observation of multi-physical fields,thus enabling the solution of a series of geoscience problems.In the Panyidong Coal Mine,where there are extensive underground tunnels at the depth of 848 m below sea level,we carried out the first deep-underground geophysical observations,including radioactivity,gravity,magnetic,magnetotelluric,background vibration and six-component seismic observations.We concluded from these measurements that(1)the background of deep subsurface gravity noise in the long-period frequency band less than 2 Hz is nearly two orders of magnitude weaker than that in the surface observation environment;(2)the underground electric field is obviously weaker than the surface electric field,and the relatively high frequency of the underground field,greater than 1 Hz,is more than two orders of magnitude weaker than that of the surface electric field;the east-west magnetic field underground is approximately the same as that at the surface;the relatively high-frequency north-south magnetic field underground,below 10 Hz,is at least one order of magnitude lower than that at the surface,showing that the underground has a clean electromagnetic environment;(3)in addition to the highfrequency and single-frequency noises introduced by underground human activities,the deep underground space has a significantly lower background vibration noise than the surface,which is very beneficial to the detection of weak earthquake and gravity signals;and(4)the underground roadway support system built with ferromagnetic material interferes the geomagnetic field.We also found that for deep observation in the“ultra-quiet and ultra-clean”environment,the existing geophysical equipment and observation technology have problems of poor adaptability and insufficient

This study aims to enhance the adhesion strength and anti-corrosion performance of the cold galvanizing coating(CGC)applied on the hot-dip galvanized steel(HDG).Polydopamine(PDA)is deposited on the HDG surface with different time ranges and as an interlayer between CGC and HDG through covalent immobilization.The surface morphology and the covalent interaction between PDA/HDG are exhibited by scanning electron microscope(SEM),atomic force microscopy(AFM)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The pull-off adhesion tests before and after neutral slat spry tests show an enhanced dry adhesion strength and less adhesion loss of the hybrid CGC/PDA coated HDG compared with the direct CGC coated HDG.In addition,open circuit potential(OCP)reveals that the corrosion protection performance of the hybrid CGC/PDA coated HDG increases by 200%(up to 201 d)and the corrosion density icorrattaining about 4.45×10^(-7)A/cm^(2).Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)measurements and X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis confirm that the precipitate of the stable chelation formed by PDA and Zn^(2+)between CGC and HDG substrate can also improve the corrosion protection performance.Such a strategy of strengthening adhesion and forming the chelate compound at the HDG surface promises a new route to corrosion protection of CGC on HDG.

To the Editor:Wilms tumor,or nephroblastoma,is the most frequently diagnosed pediatric kidney cancer,accounting for>90%of all renal tumors in children 1–7 years old,and the disease may be related to genetic factors.^([1])As an emerging research spot,the epitranscriptome has been implicated in different RNA modifications in human diseases,including cancers.[2]Methyltransferaselike 1(METTL1),a critical RNA N7-methylguanosine(m7G)methyltransferase,can catalyze the formation of a m7G modification(mostly at nucleotide position 46 in the variable region of transfer RNAs[tRNAs])by complexing with WD repeat domain 4(WDR4).Depending on the different positions,the tRNA m7G modifications have various functions.
