The mixing effectiveness of the airflow between the inner and outer bypass inlets of a Rear Variable-Area Bypass Injector(RVABI)is the key to the afterburner performance of variable cycle *** paper describes an optimized RVABI design based on an alternating area regulator to improve the velocity/temperature uniformity of the incoming flow at the *** with a classical RVABI,numerical simulations show that the proposed alternating RVABI performs better in terms of thermal mixing efficiency and total pressure loss in different variable cycle engine *** the increasing air contact area between the inner and outer bypass of alternating structure RVABI,and a larger streamwise vortex in the inner bypass inlet due to the proposed alternating lobe structure in the RVABI contribute to the significantly increase of mixing ***,the alternating regulator induces strong streamwise vortex,which helps to improve the airflow mixing with its vortex-induced *** interaction between the streamwise vortex and azimuthal vortex further promises the velocity/temperature uniformity after the *** the increase of alternating lobe’s height ratio,the covering area of the streamwise vortex and the azimuthal vortex is enlarged,which further enhances the thermal mixing efficiency of the *** design gives an insight into the future design and optimization of RVABI.

Angiosperms(flowering plants) are by far the most diverse land plant group with over 300,000 species. The sudden appearance of diverse angiosperms in the fossil record was referred to by Darwin as the “abominable mystery,”hence contributing to the heightened interest in angiosperm evolution. Angiosperms display wide ranges of morphological, physiological,and ecological characters, some of which have probably influenced their species richness. The evolutionary analyses of these characteristics help to address questions of angiosperm diversification and require well resolved phylogeny. Following the great successes of phylogenetic analyses using plastid sequences,dozens to thousands of nuclear genes from next-generation sequencing have been used in angiosperm phylogenomic analyses, providing well resolved phylogenies and new insights into the evolution of angiosperms. In this review we focus on recent nuclear phylogenomic analyses of large angiosperm clades, orders, families,and subdivisions of some families and provide a summarized Nuclear Phylogenetic Tree of Angiosperm Families. The newly established nuclear phylogenetic relationships are highlighted and compared with previous phylogenetic results. The sequenced genomes of Amborella,Nymphaea, Chloranthus, Ceratophyllum, and species of monocots, Magnoliids, and basal eudicots, have facilitated the phylogenomics of relationships among five major angiosperms clades. All but one of the 64 angiosperm orders were included in nuclear phylogenomics with well resolved relationships except the placements of several orders. Most families have been included with robust and highly supported placements, especially for relationships within several large and important orders and ***, we examine the divergence time estimation and biogeographic analyses of angiosperm on the basis of the nuclear phylogenomic frameworks and discuss the differences compared with previous analyses. Because the aerospace-ground Internet no longer relies on deploying infrastructure such as base stations,it has the advantage of all-weather full coverage services that traditional terrestrial networks do not ***,the traditional global navigation satellite system does not support communication *** newly developing aerospace network system is still in the construction stage,and there is no applicable solution *** communication technology is an important method to solve the contradiction between the low battery capacity of the Internet of things(IoT)node and the high energy consumption of *** is the development trend of the ***,the current passive technology based on Wi-Fi and other signals cannot achieve arbitrary communication due to the excitation signal acquisition *** solve the above two major problems,this paper proposes a passive system design for aerospace-ground IoT *** system can use the global navigation signal as excitation signal for backscatter *** the global navigation signal has the characteristics of all-weather and full coverage,this design solves the carrier acquisition problem in previous *** addition,this paper also proposes a low-power signal detection technology that can detect navigation signals with high precision on passive *** evaluate system performance through simulation *** experimental results show that the backscatter system based on global navigation satellite signals can realize efficient communication of IoT nodes.

With the development of intelligent technology,the problem of Li DAR-based localization has played an increasingly important role in the localization of robots in unmanned *** the dense point clouds from the environment requires a large amount of memory,specific and stable structural features,such as pole-like objects in the environment,can serve as the ideal landmarks for localization in unmanned systems,which can effectively reduce the memory usage and mitigate the effects of dynamic environment *** this paper,the authors propose a pole-like objects extraction approach and then,it is applied into the localization system of mobile *** the same experimental conditions,the proposed method can extract more pole-like objects and achieve better long-term localization accuracy than some existing methods in different urban environmental datasets.

Drug transporters are essential players in the transmembrane transport of a wide variety of clinical *** broad substrate spectra and versatile distribution pattern of these membrane proteins infer their pharmacological and clinical *** our accumulating knowledge on the three-dimensional structure of drug transporters,their oligomerization status has become a topic of intense study due to the possible functional roles carried out by such kind of post-translational modification(PTM).In-depth studies of oligomeric complexes formed among drug transporters as well as their interactions with other regulatory proteins can help us better understand the regulatory mechanisms of these membrane proteins,provide clues for the development of novel drugs,and improve the therapeutic *** this review,we describe different oligomerization forms as well as their structural basis of major drug transporters in the ATP-binding cassette and solute carrier superfamilies,summarize our current knowledge on the influence of oligomerization for protein expression level and transport function of these membrane proteins,and discuss the regulatory mechanisms of ***,we highlight the challenges associated with the current oligomerization studies and propose some thoughts on the pharmaceutical application of this important drug transporter PTM.

BACKGROUND Surgical resection and liver transplantation(LT)are the most effective curative options for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,few patients with huge HCC(>10 cm in diameter),especially those with portal vein tumor thrombus(PVTT),can receive these *** internal radiation therapy(SIRT)can be used as a conversion therapy for them because it has the dual benefit of shrinking tumors and increasing residual hepatic ***,in patients with huge HCC,high lung absorbed dose often prevents them from receiving *** SUMMARY A 35-year-old man was admitted because of emaciation and pain in the hepatic region for about 1 *** computed tomography scan showed a 20.2 cm×19.8 cm tumor located in the right lobe–left medial lobes with right portal vein and right hepatic vein *** the pathological type of HCC was confirmed by biopsy,two conversions were *** first one was drug-eluting bead transarterial chemoembolization plus hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy and lenvatinib and sintilimab,converted to SIRT,and the second one was sequential SIRT with continued systemic *** tumor size significantly decreased from 20.2 cm×19.8 cm to 16.2 cm×13.8 cm,then sequentially to 7.8 cm×6.8 *** the meantime,the ratio of spared volume to total liver volume increased gradually from 34.4%to 55.7%,then to 62.9%.Furthermore,there was visualization of the portal vein,indicating regression of the tumor ***,owing to the new tumor in the left lateral lobe,the patient underwent LT instead of resection without major *** Patients with inoperable huge HCC with PVTT could be converted to SIRT first and accept surgery sequentially.

In this editorial,we comment on the article published by Agatsuma et al in a recent issue of the World J Gastroenterol(2024;30:1368-1376).We firmly concur with Agatsuma et al regarding the vital significance of colorectal cancer(CRC)screening as a public health strategy to diminish disease *** exposed to risk factors for CRC,those with comorbid conditions,and those with limited health literacy should undergo ***,we believe that more regular screenings should be accompanied by a greater focus on primary prevention(PP)of *** remains a significant global health challenge,and its incidence is strongly linked to age,lifestyle,and socioeconomic *** is particularly noteworthy that the majority of CRC patients are diagnosed outside of established screening pathways and frequently at an advanced stage of the disease,and the majority of patients possess inadequate or even nonexistent knowledge regarding CRC,which significantly impacts the prognosis and imposes a substantial economic *** study revealed that CRC identified during hospital visits for comorbid conditions was typically diagnosed at an earlier stage than detected via symptomatic ***,early incidental detection of CRC aligns closely with the timing of discovery through routine cancer *** suggests that by adopting more inclusive screening protocols that combine opportunistic testing with traditional screening methods,health care systems can create a more comprehensive safety net for individuals at risk of ***,before maximizing the health benefits of screening programs,it is essential to make additional efforts prior to screening,such as raising awareness via public education,risk assessment,and personalized recommendations,enhancing the knowledge and skills of health care professionals,optimizing the accessibility and convenience of screening processes,ensuring the quality and safety of screening services,strengthening follow-up and su

The dynamic remodeling of the cytoskeletal network of vimentin intermediate filaments supports various cellular functions,including cell morphology,elasticity,migration,organelle localization,and resistance against mechanical or pathological *** available chemicals targeting vimentin predominantly induce network reorganization and shrinkage around the *** tools for long-term manipulation of vimentin network dispersion in living cells are still lacking,limiting in-depth studies on vimentin function and potential therapeutic ***,we verified that a commercially available small molecule,trametinib,is capable of inducing spatial spreading of the cellular vimentin network without affecting its transcriptional or Translational *** evidence confirmed its low cytotoxicity and similar effects on different cell ***,Trametinib has no impact on the other two cytoskeletal systems,actin filaments and the microtubule ***,Trametinib regulates vimentin network dispersion rapidly and efficiently,with effects persisting for up to 48 h after drug *** also ruled out the possibility that Trametinib directly affects the phosphorylation level of *** summary,we identified an unprecedented regulator Trametinib,which is capable of spreading the vimentin network toward the cell periphery,and thus complemented the existing repertoire of vimentin remodeling drugs in the field of cytoskeletal research.

In recent years,the research field of data collection under local differential privacy(LDP)has expanded its focus fromelementary data types to includemore complex structural data,such as set-value and graph ***,our comprehensive review of existing literature reveals that there needs to be more studies that engage with key-value data *** studies would simultaneously collect the frequencies of keys and the mean of values associated with each ***,the allocation of the privacy budget between the frequencies of keys and the means of values for each key does not yield an optimal utility *** the importance of obtaining accurate key frequencies and mean estimations for key-value data collection,this paper presents a novel framework:the Key-Strategy Framework forKey-ValueDataCollection under ***,theKey-StrategyUnary Encoding(KS-UE)strategy is proposed within non-interactive frameworks for the purpose of privacy budget allocation to achieve precise key frequencies;subsequently,the Key-Strategy Generalized Randomized Response(KS-GRR)strategy is introduced for interactive frameworks to enhance the efficiency of collecting frequent keys through group-anditeration *** strategies are adapted for scenarios in which users possess either a single or multiple key-value ***,we demonstrate that the variance of KS-UE is lower than that of existing *** claims are substantiated through extensive experimental evaluation on real-world datasets,confirming the effectiveness and efficiency of the KS-UE and KS-GRR strategies.
