The Ediacaran to early Cambrian Blovice accretionary complex,Bohemian Massif,hosts abundant chert bodies that formed on an oceanic plate and were involved in subduction beneath the northern margin of *** relationships of cherts to their host,their microstructure and elemental as well as isotopic compositions revealed diverse processes of chert petrogenesis reflecting depositional environment and position on the oceanic *** deep-water cherts formed through a hydrothermal precipitation of silica-rich gels on outer trench swell of the subducted slab with none or only minor addition of terrigenous *** the contrary,the shallow-water cherts formed in lagoons on seamount slopes,and at least some of them represent a product of hydrothermal replacement of former carbonate and/or evaporite *** both chert types,the hydrothermal fluids were of low temperature and continuous pervasive hydrothermal alteration of oceanic crust,together with an elevated Si content in Neoproterozoic seawater,served as the major source of *** the other hand,minor carbon enrichment in chert is mostly linked to variable incorporation of organic matter that was deposited on the *** earth element(REE)systematics of the cherts indicate predominantly oxygenated environment for the shallow-water cherts whereas the deep-water cherts were deposited in diverse redox conditions,depending on their distance from hydrothermal *** these data,we demonstrate that the cherts once formed a part of Ocean Plate Stratigraphy(OPS)now dismembered and mixed with terrigenous siliciclastic material to form OPS mé*** our data with those from the existing literature,we show that cherts can serve as significant markers of OPS since the Archean,recording a complex interplay between seafloor-related volcanic(production of MORB-and OIB-like magmas)and sedimentary processes,hydrothermal activity at mid-ocean ridges and seamount chains as well as at outer slopes o

Finding Chaos in Finnish GDP

The goal of this paper is to analyze the Finnish gross domestic product(GDP) and to find chaos in the Finnish GDP. We chose Finland where data has been available since 1975, because we needed the longest time series possible. At first we estimated the time delay and the embedding dimension, which is needed for the Lyapunov exponent estimation and for the phase space ***, we computed the largest Lyapunov exponent, which is one of the important indicators of chaos. Then we calculated the 0-1 test for chaos. Finally we computed the Hurst exponent by rescaled range analysis and by dispersional analysis. The Hurst exponent is a numerical estimate of the predictability of a time series. In the end, we executed a recurrent analysis and displayed recurrence plots of detrended GDP time series. The results indicated that chaotic behaviors obviously exist in GDP.

Suppose that νω=∏i^2=1ω^i^p/p） and each ωi is a nonnegative function on Rn. In this paper, we show that under some condition on m, Tm is bounded from L^p1（ω1） × L^p2（ω2） to L^p（νω） if p0 〈 p1, p2 〈 ∞ with 1/p = 1/p1 ＋ 1/p2. Moreover,if p0 〉 2n/s and p1 = p0 or p2 = p0, then Tm is bounded from L^p1（ω1） × L^p2（ω2） to L^p,∞（νω）. The weighted end-point L log L type estimate and strong estimate for the commutators of Tm are also given. These were done by considering the boundedness of some related multilinear square functions associated with mild regularity kernels and essentially improving some basic lemmas which have been used before.

Strain-induced formation of a gradient nanostructured surface layer on an ultrahigh strength bearing steel

In the present work, an ultrahigh strength bearing steel（AISI 52100） was subjected to surface mechanical rolling treatment（SMRT） at room temperature. Microstructural observations showed that martensitic laths, twins and cementite particles in the initial microstructure underwent distinct plastic strains and were gradually refined into nanostructures. Consequently, a gradient nanostructured（GNS） surface layer with a mean grain size of -24 nm at the top surface was obtained on the bearing steel, resulting in an increment of -20% in the surface hardness. Analyses based on microstructural evolution, phase constitution and in-depth hardness distribution revealed a mechanically induced formation mechanism of the GNS surface layer. The multiple surface severe plastic deformation under fine lubrication and cooling during SMRT contributed to the formation of a thick hardened surface layer on the bearing steel.

Experimental investigation of hypersonic flight-duplicated shock tunnel characteristics

Hypersonic air-breathing propulsion is one of the key techniques for future aviation and the ground aerodynamic testing for full scale test models with sufficient test time at flight conditions is of fundamental importance for verifying hypersonic air-breathing *** on the backward detonation-driven concept,the hypersonic flight-duplicated shock tunnel(or JF-12 shock tunnel)has been successfully constructed and *** facility is capable of reproducing airflow for Mach numbers ranging from 5 to 9 at an altitude of 25-50 km,with a test duration of more than 100 *** quantify the performance of the shock tunnel,experiments were conducted to investigate the aerodynamic characteristics of the test flows and the effects of several critical techniques that play important roles in the operation of the shock *** stagnation pressure was constant within士5%and the average stagnation pressure varied by less than 0.048%/*** variation of the stagnation pressure in repeated experiments is less than 2.0%,indicating the good repeatability of the wind *** non-uniformity of the Mach number in the core flow field at the nozzle exit was within士2.5%.Additional,a uniform flow field is established upstream of the nozzle *** axial gradients of the flow field are small since the Mach number varies less than 1.7%/*** regarding the ignition technology,diaphragm ruptures,detonation driver capacity,incident shock-wave decay,and tunnel operation mode are also *** findings of this study are not only helpful for operating the shock tunnel,but can also assist the future development of hypersonic wind tunnels.
