A new evolutional model for institutional field knowledge flow network

Purpose:This paper aims to address the limitations in existing research on the evolution of knowledge flow networks by proposing a meso-level institutional field knowledge flow network evolution model(IKM).The purpose is to simulate the construction process of a knowledge flow network using knowledge organizations as units and to investigate its effectiveness in replicating institutional field knowledge flow networks.Design/Methodology/Approach:The IKM model enhances the preferential attachment and growth observed in scale-free BA networks,while incorporating three adjustment parameters to simulate the selection of connection targets and the types of nodes involved in the network evolution process Using the PageRank algorithm to calculate the significance of nodes within the knowledge flow network.To compare its performance,the BA and DMS models are also employed for simulating the network.Pearson coefficient analysis is conducted on the simulated networks generated by the IKM,BA and DMS models,as well as on the actual network.Findings:The research findings demonstrate that the IKM model outperforms the BA and DMS models in replicating the institutional field knowledge flow network.It provides comprehensive insights into the evolution mechanism of knowledge flow networks in the scientific research realm.The model also exhibits potential applicability to other knowledge networks that involve knowledge organizations as node units.Research Limitations:This study has some limitations.Firstly,it primarily focuses on the evolution of knowledge flow networks within the field of physics,neglecting other fields.Additionally,the analysis is based on a specific set of data,which may limit the generalizability of the findings.Future research could address these limitations by exploring knowledge flow networks in diverse fields and utilizing broader datasets.Practical Implications:The proposed IKM model offers practical implications for the construction and analysis of knowledge flow networks within institutions.It provides a

Selenium nanoparticles(SeNPs)have been demonstrated potential for use in diseases associated with oxidative stress.Functionalized SeNPs with lower toxicity and higher biocompatibility could bring better therapeutic activity and clinical application value.Herein,this work was conducted to investigate the protective effect of Pleurotus tuber-regium polysaccharide-protein complex funtionnalized SeNPs(PTR-SeNPs)against acetaminophen(APAP)-induced oxidative injure in HepG2 cells and C57BL/6J mouse liver.Further elucidation of the underlying molecular mechanism,in particular their modulation of Nrf2 signaling pathway was also performed.The results showed that PTR-SeNPs could significantly ameliorate APAP-induced oxidative injury as evidenced by a range of biochemical analysis,histopathological examination and immunoblotting study.PTR-SeNPs could hosphorylate and activate PKCδ,depress Keap1,and increase nuclear accumulation of Nrf2,resulting in upregulation of GCLC,GCLM,HO-1 and NQO-1 expression.Besides,PTR-SeNPs suppressed the biotransformation of APAP to generate intracellular ROS through CYP 2E1 inhibition,restoring the mitochondrial morphology.Furthermore,the protective effect of PTR-SeNPs against APAP induced hepatotoxicity was weakened as Nrf2 was depleted in vivo,indicating the pivotal role of Nrf2 signaling pathway in PTR-SeNPs mediated hepatoprotective efficacy.Being a potential hepatic protectant,PTR-SeNPs could serve as a new source of selenium supplement for health-promoting and biomedical applications.

Self-powered full-spectrum photodetectors(PDs)offer numerous advantages,such as broad application fields,high precision,efficiency,and multi-functionality,which represent a highly promising and potentially valuable class of detectors for future development.However,insensitive response to solar-blind ultraviolet(UV)and complex and expensive preparation processes greatly limit their performance and practical application.In this study,a self-powered full-spectrum Bi_(2)Se_(3)/a-Ga_(2)O_(3)/p-Si heterojunction PD with high sensitivity for solar-blind UV band prepared by a simple and low-cost two-step synthesis method is presented.Experiments results reveal that the developed PD has an excellent performance,such as high sensitivity from 200 to 850 nm,and a responsivity of 1.38 mA/W as well as a detectivity of 3.22×10^(10) Jones under 254 nm light at zero bias.Additionally,the unencapsulated device displays exceptional stability and imaging capabilities.It is expected that Bi_(2)Se_(3)/a-Ga_(2)O_(3)/p-Si heterojunction PD with a simple and low-cost synthesis method has great potential for self-powered full-spectrum photodetectors.

Selenomethionine alleviates chronic heat stress-induced breast muscle injury and poor meat quality in broilers via relieving mitochondrial dysfunction and endoplasmic reticulum stress

In the present study,the chronic heat stress （CHS） broiler model was developed to investigate the potential protection mechanism of organic selenium （selenomethionine,SeMet） on CHS-induced skeletal muscle growth retardation and poor meat quality.Four hundred Arbor Acres male broilers （680±70 g,21 d old） were grouped into 5 treatments with 8 replicates of 10 broilers per replicate.Broilers in the control group were raised in a thermoneutral environment （22±2°C） and fed with a basal diet.The other four treatments were exposed to hyperthermic conditions （33±2°C,24 h in each day） and fed on the basal diet supplied with SeMet at 0.0,0.2,0.4,and 0.6 mg Se/kg,respectively,for 21 d.Results showed that CHS reduced （P<0.05） the growth performance,decreased （P<0.05） the breast muscle weight and impaired the meat quality of breast muscle in broilers.CHS induced protein metabolic disorder in breast muscle,which increased （P<0.05） the expression of caspase 3,caspase 8,caspase 9 and ubiquitin proteasome system related genes,while decreased the protein expression of P-4EBP1.CHS also decreased the antioxidant capacity and induced mitochondrial stress and endoplasmic reticulum （ER） stress in breast muscle,which increased （P<0.05） the ROS levels,decreased the concentration of ATP,increased the protein expression of HSP60 and CLPX,and increased （P<0.05） the expression of ER stress biomarkers.Dietary SeMet supplementation linearly increased （P<0.05） breast muscle Se concentration and exhibited protective effects via up-regulating the expression of the selenotranscriptome and several key selenoproteins,which increased （P<0.05） body weight,improved meat quality,enhanced antioxidant capacity and mitigated mitochondrial stress and ER stress.What's more,SeMet suppressed protein degradation and improved protein biosynthesis though inhibiting the caspase and ubiquitin proteasome system and promoting the mTOR-4EBP1 pathway.In conclusion,dietary SeMet supplementation increases the expression of several key selenoproteins,alleviates mitochondr

Broadband photodetectors with self-driven functions have attracted intensive scientific interest due to their low energy consumption and high optical gain.However,high-performance broadband self-driven photodetectors are still a significant challenge due to the complex fabrication processes,environmental toxicity,high production costs of traditional 3D semiconductor materials and sharply raised contact resistance,severe interfacial recombination of 2D materials and 2D/3D mixed dimension heterojunction.Here,1D p-Te/2D n-Bi_(2)Te_(3) heterojunctions are constructed by the simple and low-cost hydrothermal method.1D p-Te/2D n-Bi_(2)Te_(3) devices are applied in photoelectrochemical(PEC)photodetectors,with their high performance attributed to the good interfacial contacts reducing interface recombination.The device demonstrated a broad wavelength range(365–850 nm)with an Iph/Idark as high as 377.45.The R_(i),D^(*),and external quantum efficiency(EQE)values of the device were as high as 12.07 mA/W,5.87×10^(10) Jones,and 41.05%,respectively,which were significantly better than the performance of the prepared Bi_(2)Te_(3) and Te devices.A comparison of the freshly fabricated device and the device after 30 days showed that 1D p-Te/2D n-Bi_(2)Te_(3) had excellent stability with only 18.08%decay of photocurrent.It is anticipated that this work will provide new emerging material for future design and preparation of a high-performance self-driven broadband photodetector.

Radiative cooling for long-term building energy efficiency:An experimental comparison of seven coatings

Radiative cooling coatings are widely used owing to their excellent cooling performance and energy efficiency.However,there is a lack of comprehensive research on their weather resistance,long-term performance and effects on building load.To fill this research gap,seven coatings were selected for experimental observation and simulation research.The results revealed noticeable differences among different coatings regarding anti-aging properties,cooling performance and building load reduction.Some coatings exhibited yellowing,cracking and peeling after weathering tests,accompanied by a decline in their radiative properties.Long-term tests showed that the cooling performance of all coatings gradually decreased due to natural aging,and the rate of decline was proportional to the weathering of the coatings.Building load simulations revealed the potential effect of coating selection on cooling and heating loads,thereby suggesting that different coatings should be selected based on actual usage scenarios in different climatic zones.

针对IN718镍基合金和316L不锈钢异质金属连接形成的明显界面导致构件整体强度低的问题,采用激光定向能量沉积(Laser directed energy deposition, LDED)工艺制备了IN718和316L直接连接和梯度连接构件。采用扫描电子显微镜(Scanning electronmicroscope,SEM)和电子背散射衍射(Electron backscattered diffraction,EBSD)观测了异质金属直接连接和梯度连接构件的界面处微观组织分布。此外,采用数字图像相关法(Digital image correlation, DIC)原位拉伸技术研究了IN718/316L异质金属直接连接和梯度连接构件的整体强度,以及拉伸过程中界面处的应变规律。结果表明,IN718/316L直接连接构件存在明显界面,界面处微观组织分布存在较大差异;从IN718端至316L端,Fe等元素含量明显升高, Ni和Nb等元素含量明显降低。IN718/316L梯度连接构件无明显的连接界面,沿梯度方向,微观组织由胞状晶向柱状树枝晶转变。抗拉强度与直接连接构件相比提高了约28.77%。采用异质金属梯度连接可有效消除异质金属间的明显界面,实现元素分布渐变,明显提升异质金属的抗拉强度。

油纸绝缘受潮状态的准确评估对于电力设备安全稳定运行至关重要,该文研究并提出了一种以介质响应电流幅值I_(m)随激励电压频率f变化为特征的油纸绝缘受潮评估新方法。试验测试了不同水分含量油纸绝缘样品在频率f为0.01~50 Hz正弦激励电压下的f-I_(m)特性,并对I_(m)按照其最小值进行归一化处理得到f-I^(*)曲线。结果表明:在双对数坐标下,随着受潮程度增加油纸绝缘的f-I^(*)曲线会由干燥时的一条直线逐渐变为一条下凹的曲线。进一步提出将50 Hz处的I^(*)值I^(*)_(@50Hz)作为特征参量,用于量化油纸绝缘水分含量,并在实验室模型和实际油浸式设备上验证了该方法的有效性。与传统利用频域介电谱诊断油纸绝缘受潮的方法相比,该文所提特征参量与水分含量的量化关系受绝缘结构差异和油纸绝缘聚合度变化的影响较小,在设备绝缘结构和老化状态信息缺失的情况下具有更好的普适性。另外,该方法所需测试时间仅约100 s,具有高效、准确和便捷的特点。

围产期奶牛受多方面因素的调控,由于生理、日粮、环境和管理等多重因素的变化,奶牛易发生能量负平衡和免疫抑制,进而引发各种疾病,导致养殖效益下降。本文基于近年来的相关研究,对围产期奶牛在能量、激素、维生素与矿物质、细胞因子等方面的变化规律进行综述。发现这一时期奶牛血糖、胰岛素、脂肪、氨基酸等关键物质呈现出有序而规律性的动态变化,生殖激素和其他激素也表现出显著波动,维生素和矿物质的需求发生显著调整。鉴于这些复杂的生理变化,为围产期奶牛的饲养管理提供合理建议对防控奶牛能量代谢紊乱、改善乳品质量、提高奶牛生产效益至关重要。
