Experimental Study on Product Characteristics of Typical Pulverized Coal Preheated by a Self-Preheating Burner

As the major primary energy source in China,coal has been proved to be capable to improve its physical and chemical characteristics by the pretreatment of the self-preheating *** this study,the effects of altering operating conditions including preheating temperature(T_(p))and primary air equivalence ratio(λ_(p))on preheating characteristics of three typical pulverized coal were investigated on a bench-scale test *** high-temperature coal gas compositions along the axis of the riser and at the outlet of the self-preheating burner were measured,and the coal char and coal tar produced in the preheating process were collected and analyzed *** results indicated that with the significant release of volatile and the occurrence of chemical reactions,cracks and micropores emerged on the surface of the particles,making the pore structure on the surface more developed,and T_(p)had the most significant effect on the structure of coal ***,there were evident differences in the corresponding operating conditions when the preheating characteristics of the three typical coal reached *** preheating had the strongest influence on the degree of anthracite *** respect to coal tar,the increase of T_(p)andλ_(p)further promoted its secondary cracking and oxidation,resulting in a decrease in production *** this study,for bituminous coal and lignite,a large amount of coal tar were produced during preheating and the highest production yields could reach 5.74%and 6.15%,*** for anthracite,the production yield was intensely low due to its own coal properties,all below 1.02%.

Machining damage occurs on the surface of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites during processing. In the current simulation model of CFRP, the initial defects on the carbon fiber and the periodic random distribution of the reinforcement phase in the matrix are not considered in detail, which makes the characteristics of the cutting model significantly different from the actual processing conditions. In this paper, a novel three-phase model of carbon fiber/cyanate ester composites is proposed to simulate the machining damage of the composites. The periodic random distribution of the carbon fiber reinforced phase in the matrix was realized using a double perturbation algorithm. To achieve the stochastic distribution of the strength of a single carbon fiber, a novel method that combines the Weibull intensity distribution theory with the Monte Carlo method is presented. The mechanical properties of the cyanate matrix were characterized by fitting the stress-strain curves, and the cohesive zone model was employed to simulate the interface. Based on the model, the machining damage mechanism of the composites was revealed using finite element simulations and by conducting a theoretical analysis. Furthermore, the milling surfaces of the composites were observed using a scanning electron microscope, to verify the accuracy of the simulation results. In this study, the simulations and theoretical analysis of the carbon fiber/cyanate ester composite processing were carried out based on a novel three-phase model, which revealed the material failure and machining damage mechanism more accurately.

The study focused on the effects of the interaction between axial and radial secondary air and the reductive intensity in reduction region on combustion characteristics and NO_(x) emission in a 30 kW preheating combustion *** results revealed that the interaction and reductive intensity influenced the combustion in the down-fired combustor(DFC) and NO_(x) emission *** the temperature distribution,the interaction caused the position of the main combustion region to shift down as R_(2-12)(ratio of axial secondary air flow to radial secondary air flow) decreased or λ_(2)(total secondary air ratio) increased,and there was the interplay between both of their *** R_(3-12)(ratio of first-staged tertiary air flow to second-staged tertiary air flow)increased,the decrease in the reductive intensity also caused the above phenomenon,and the peak temperature increased in this *** the NO_(x) emission,the interaction affected the NO_(x) reduction adversely when λ_(2) or R_(2-12) was higher,and the range of this effect was larger,so that the NO_x emission increased obviously as they *** decrease in the reductive intensity caused the NO_(x) emission increased under the homogeneous reduction mechanism,while was unchanged at a high level under the heterogeneous reduction *** the combustion efficiency,the interaction improved the combustion efficiency as λ_(2) increased when R_(2-12) was lower,while reduced it as λ_(2) increased excessively when R_(2-12) was *** proper decrease in the reductive intensity caused the combustion efficiency increased obviously,while was hardly improved further when the intensity decreased *** this study,the lowest NO_(x) emission was only 41.75 mg/m^(3) without sacrificing the combustion efficiency by optimizing the interaction and reductive intensity.

The Tiefosi granitic pluton is located 5 km northwest of Xinyang City, northern Dabie Orogen, and was emplaced in the Proterozoic Qinling Group. SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating suggests its crystallization at 436 ± 11 Ma. It is composed of monzogranite and syenogranite containing some amounts of muscovite and few mafic minerals. The rocks are characterized by high and restricted SiO2 content, low FeO, Fe2O3 and MgO contents, high K2O/Na2O ratio, and display high-K calc-alkaline and peraluminous (ACNK>1.1) characteristics. They are generally enriched in large ion lithophile elements (LILE) and depleted in high field strength elements (HFSE). They can be divided into three groups in light of rare earth elements (REE) and trace elements. Group I is moderate in ΣREE and characterized by the absence of Eu anomaly, high (La/Yb)N ratio, and moderate Rb/Sr and Rb/Ba ratios. Group II has moderately negative Eu anomaly, low (La/Yb)N ratio and high ΣREE contents, Rb/Sr and Rb/Ba ratios. Group III displays positive Eu anomaly, moderate (La/Yb)N ratio, and low ΣREE, Rb/Sr and Rb/Ba ratios. The calculated ? Nd(440Ma) values of the rocks vary from ?8.8 to ?9.9 and Nd depleted mantle model ages are about 2.0 Ga, which resemble those of the paragneisses from the Qinling Group. The results indicate that the Tiefosi granite is crust-derived, syn-collisional S-type granite. Generation of Group I was related to low degree melting of the Qinling Group, while Group II was formed by fractionational crystallization of plagioclase from Group I magmas, and Group III resulted possibly from magma mingling with plagioclase cumulates. The Tiefosi granite was formed within crustal level related to the collision between the North China and South China blocks in the Early Paleozoic time.

The Erlangmiao granite intrusion is located in the eastern part of the East Qinling Orogen. The granite contains almost 99 vol.% felsic minerals with accessory garnet, muscovite, biotite, zircon, and Fe-Ti oxide. Garnet is the dominant accessory mineral, shows zoned texture, and is rich in w（FeO）（14.13%--16.09%） and w（MnO）（24.21%--27.44%）. The rocks have high SiO2, alkalis, FeOt/ MgO, TiO2/MgO and low A1203, CaO with w（Na2O）/w（K20）〉 ]. Their Rb, Ga, Ta, Nb, Y, and Yb contents are high and Sr, Ba, Eu, Zr, P, and Ti contents are low. These features indicate that the Erlang- miao granite is a highly evolved metaluminous A-type. Garnet crystallized at the expense of biotite from the MnO-rich evolved melt after fractionation of biotite, plagioclase, K-feldspar, zircon, apatite, and ilmenite. The relatively high initial 878r/S6Sr ratios （0.706--0.708）, low and negative εNd （120 Ma） values （-6.6 to -9.0）, and old Nd model ages （1.5--1.7 Ga） suggest that the rocks were probably formed by partial melting of the Paleoproterozoic granitic gneisses from the basement, with participation of depleted mantle in an extensional setting.

Poor permeation of drugs and“immune-cold”tumor microenvironment in solid tumors are the two major challenges which lead to the inefficient therapeutic efficacy for cancer ***,light-activated penetrable nanoparticles(PEGVAL&DOX&ICG@RNPs)for co-delivery of the chemotherapeutic drug doxorubicin(DOX),the photosensitizer agent indocyanine green(ICG),and the angiotensin II receptor blockers valsartan(VAL)were developed to achieve deep drug penetration and synergistic photo-chemo-immunotherapy of solid *** showed that under the first-wave of laser irradiation,the polyethylene glycol(PEG)hydrophilic layer as an“inert”surface could detach from the nanoparticles,release VAL and expose the arginine-rich peptide modified-cores that can facilitate deep drug penetration via a transcytosis *** exposed to the second-wave of laser irradiation,the synergistic chemo-photo-immunotherapy can be *** expected,in 4T1 tumorbearing mice,PEG-VAL&DOX&ICG@RNPs treatment could effectively inhibit the growth of tumors,down-regulateα-smooth muscle actin expression level of cancer-associated fibroblasts cells in tumors,induce dendritic cells(DCs)maturation,and promote intratumoral infiltration of cytotoxic T ***,combination therapy by PEG-VAL&DOX&ICG@RNPs and anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody can elicit memory T cell response for preventing tumor recurrence and metastasis in *** work provides a promising delivery strategy to overcome the current limitations of nanomedicine for achieving more effective therapeutic index of“immune-cold”solid tumor treatment.

Smart construction of battery-type anodes with high rate and good mechanical properties is significant for advanced sodium ion capacitors(SICs).Herein,a flexible film consisting of MoO_(2) subnanoclusters encapsulated in nitrogen-doped carbon nanofibers(MoO_(2) SCs@N-CNFs)is designed and synthesized via electrospinning toward SICs as *** strong N-Mo interaction guarantees the stable yet uniform dispersion of high loading MoO_(2) SCs(≈40 wt.%)in the flexible carbonaceous *** sub-nanoscale effect of SCs restrains electrode pulverization and improves the Na+diffusion kinetics,rendering better pseudocapacitance-dominated Na+-storage properties than the nanocrystal *** MoO_(2) SCs@N-CNFs paper with mass loadings of 2.2–10.1 mg cm^(−2) can be directly used as free-standing anode for SICs,which exhibit high reversible gravimetric/areal capacities both in liquid and quasi-solid-state *** assembled flexible SICs competitively exhibit exceptional energy density and cycling *** significantly,the sub-nanoscale engineering strategy here is promisingly generalized to future electrode design for other electrochemical energy-related applications and beyond.
