While most previous research in social psychology shows benefits of individuals’consistency in personality across different social roles,the current study brings the concept of cross-role trait consistency to the context of management and examines its dark *** from 197 couples showed that an employee’s work overload was positively associated with his/her spouse’s perception of how much the employee’s work interfered with family *** relationship was mediated by the employee’s job *** importantly,this mediating relationship was moderated by the employee’s cross-role trait *** findings indicate that work overload may affect spouses’perception of employees’work-to-family conflict through job burnout,with the transmission of burnout on work-to-family conflict stronger among employees high in cross-role trait ***,cross-role trait consistency appears to strengthen negative spillover and crossover from work to *** and practical implications are discussed.

A pyrolysis experiment was carried out on a Dongying Depression kerogen sample to separate the resin from the oil. Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FT-ICR MS) with a positive-ion detector was used to detect the relative proportional changes in the compounds of the resin. During the whole pyrolysis experiment, the relative ratio of resin exceed 10% of the soluble component at each temperature point. Five compounds were detected from the resin: n1, n1O1, n1O_(2), O1, and O_(2). To research the changes in the proportions of the compounds during pyrolysis clearly, these five compounds were divided into three classes: n1, n1Ox, and Ox. The n1 class has the largest proportion in resin at the beginning of the pyrolysis, while Ox class has the least proportion. And the relationship between the number and the molecular mass of three classes compound was researched. With increasing maturity, the proportion of n1 and the n1Ox class decreased rapidly, while the Ox class increased slowly. Through researching these resin compounds, it was found that an inversion in the proportions of above three compounds appeared at the end of the oil window. At the same time, we found that the DBE and carbon number of resin compounds have changed obviously during the pyrolysis: the DBE increased, while the carbon number decreased significantly. And the details of the change of each compound have been researched. This research extends our knowledge of judging the maturity of crude oil during the pyrolysis through the characteristics of compounds in resin and provides the new index based on resin for the evaluation of thermal evolution stage and hydrocarbon generation capacity of source rocks.

Research on the Fe-silicon nitride material self-producing n_2 at high temperature

The Fe silicon nitride synthesized by flashing combustion process was studied to determine the reaction temperature between Fe and silicon nitride, the account of n2 given out in the course of the reaction, and the change of the microstructure during calcination. The results showed that at 1127.2℃ the Fe-silicon nitride self-reacts and releases n2 and under 101.3 kPa the volume of n2 given out in the course of the reaction is 20 times more than that of the starting material. n2 is produced quickly, and completes in several decade seconds. With the producing of n2, the structure of Silicon nitride around Fe becomes loose and porous, or cracks are formed by the reaction between Fe and silicon nitride. So if it is made use of that Fe-silicon nitride self-producing n2 at the high temperature, the performance of the material on a base of Fe-silicon nitride could be greatly improved.

Detection of nitrogen-overfertilized rice plants with leaf positional difference in hyperspectral vegetation index

The main objective of this work was to compare the applicability of the single leaf(the uppermost leaf L1 and the third uppermost leaf L3) modified simple ratio(mSR705 index) and the leaf positional difference in the vegetation index between L1 and L3(mSR705L1-mSR705L3) in detecting nitrogen(n)-overfertilized rice plants.A field experiment consisting of three rice genotypes and five n fertilization levels(0,75,180,285,and 390 kg n/ha) was conducted at Xiaoshan,Hangzhou,Zhejiang Province,China in *** hyperspectral reflectance(350-2500 nm) and the chlorophyll concentration(ChlC) of L1 and L3 were measured at different *** mSR705L1 and mSR705L3 indices appeared not to be highly sensitive to the n rates,especially when the n rate was high(above 180 kg n/ha).The mean mSR705L1-mSR705L3 across the genotypes increased significantly(Pnsiderably from 180 to 285 kg n/ha treatment and from 285 to 390 kg n/ha treatment at all the ***,use of the difference(mSR705L1-mSR705L3) greatly reduced the influence of the stages and genotypes in assessing the n status with re-flectance *** results of this study show that the n-overfertilized rice plants can be effectively detected with the leaf positional difference in the mSR705 index.

In this paper, we consider a change point model allowing at most one change, X($\tfrac{i}{n}$\tfrac{i}{n}) = f($\tfrac{i}{n}$\tfrac{i}{n}) + e($\tfrac{i}{n}$\tfrac{i}{n}), where f(t) = α + θ $I_{(t_0 ,1)} $I_{(t_0 ,1)} (t), 0 ≤ t ≤ 1, {e($\tfrac{1}{n}$\tfrac{1}{n}), ..., e($\tfrac{n}{n}$\tfrac{n}{n})} is a sequence of i.i.d. random variables distributed as e with 0 being the median of e. For this change point model, hypothesis test problem about the change-point t0 is studied and a test statistic is constructed. Furthermore, a nonparametric estimator of t0 is proposed and shown to be strongly consistent. Finally, we give an estimator of jump θ and obtain it’s asymptotic property. Performance of the proposed approach is investigated by extensive simulation studies.

Two homologous series of bent-shaped molecules composed of low bent-angle naphthalene central core and long alkoxy tail or alkylthio tail, n（1,7）-n-OPIMB and n（1,7）-n-SP1MB （n = 20, 22）, respectively, were synthesized. The mesomorphic properties were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry （DSC）, polarizing optical microscopy （POM） and X-ray diffraction （XRD）. Compared to the direct transition from the isotropic phase to the chiral B4 phase examined in n（1,7）-n-OPIMB, n（1,7）-n-SPIMB exhibited a rare Iso-ncol-Colh-B4 phase sequence. The combination of the asymmetric low bent-angle 1,7-naphathalene central core and the flexible long alkylthio tail is considered to play an important role in the formation of such a novel phase sequence.

BACKGROUnD： Recently, grape seed procyanidin （GSP） has been shown to be exhibit antioxidant effects, effectively reducing ischemia/reperfusion injury and inhibiting brain cell apoptosis. OBJECTIVE： To study the effects of GSP on nerve growth factor （nGF） expression and neurological function following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats. DESIGn： Randomized controlled study based on SD rats. SETTInG： Weifang Municipal People＇s Hospital. MATERIALS： Forty-eight healthy adult SD rats weighing 280-330 g and irrespective of gender were provided by the Experimental Animal Center of Shandong University. GSP derived from grape seed was a new high-effective antioxidant provided by Tianjin Jianfeng natural Product Researching Company （batch number： 20060107）. Rabbit-anti-rat nGF monoclonal antibody was provided by Beijing Zhongshan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and SABC immunohistochemical staining kit by Wuhan Boster Bioengineering Co., Ltd. METHODS： The present study was performed in the Functional Laboratory of Weifang Medical College from April 2006 to January 2007. Forty-eight SD rats were randomly divided into the sham operation group, ischemia/reperfusion group, high-dose GSP （40 mg/kg） group, or low-dose GSP （10 mg/kg） group （n = 12 per group）. Ischemia/reperfusion injury was established using the threading embolism method of the middle cerebral artery. Rats in the ischemia/reperfusion model group were given saline injection （2 mL/kg i.p.） once daily for seven days pre-ischemia/reperfusion, and once more at 15 minutes before reperfusion. Rats in the high-dose and low-dose GSP groups were injected with GSP （20 or 5 mg/mL i.p., respectively, 2 mL/kg） with the same regime as the ischemia/reperfusion model group. The surgical procedures in the sham operation group were as the same as those in the ischemia/reperfusion model group, but the thread was approximately 10 mm long, thus, the middle cerebral artery was not blocked. Plant disease management faces ever-growing challenges due to：（i） increasing demands for total, safe and diverse foods to support the booming global population and its improving living standards; （ii） reducing production potential in agriculture due to competition for land in fertile areas and exhaustion of marginal arable lands; （iii） deteriorating ecology of agro-ecosystems and depletion of natural resources; and （iv） increased risk of disease epidemics resulting from agricultural intensification and monocultures. Future plant disease management should aim to strengthen food security for a stable society while simultaneously safeguarding the health of associated ecosystems and reducing dependency on natural resources. To achieve these multiple functionalities, sustainable plant disease management should place emphases on rational adaptation of resistance, avoidance, elimination and remediation strategies individually and collectively, guided by traits of specific host-pathogen associations using evolutionary ecology principles to create environmental （biotic and abiotic） conditions favorable for host growth and development while adverse to pathogen reproduction and evolution.
