Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a common malignant tumor with high incidence and cancer mortality ***-translational modifications(PTMs)of proteins have a great impact on protein *** all proteins can undergo PTMs,including phosphorylation,acetylation,methylation,glycosylation,ubiquitination,and so *** studies have shown that PTMs are related to the occurrence and development of *** findings provide novel therapeutic targets for cancers,such as glypican-3 and *** clinical implications are also found in the studies of *** or prognostic value,and response to therapy have been *** HCC,it has been shown that glycosylated alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)has a higher detection rate for early liver cancer than conventional *** this review,we mainly focused on the diagnostic and prognostic value of PTM,in order to provide new insights into the clinical implication of PTM in HCC.

Liver trauma is the most common abdominal emergency with high morbidity and mortality. Now, nonoperative management（NOM） is a selective method for liver trauma. The aim of this study was to determine the success rate, mortality and morbidity of NOM for isolated liver *** records of 81 patients with isolated liver trauma in our unit were analyzed retrospectively. The success rate, mortality and morbidity of NOM were evaluated. In this series, 9 patients with grade IV-V liver injuries underwent emergent operation due to hemodynamic instability; 72 patients, 6 with grade V, 18 grade IV, 29 grade III, 15 grade II and 4 grade I, with hemodynamic stability received NOM. The overall success rate of NOM was 97.2%（70/72）. The success rates of NOM in the patients with grade I-III, IV and V liver trauma were100%, 94.4% and 83.3%. The complication rates were 10.0%and 45.5% in the patients who underwent NOM and surgical treatment, respectively. No patient with grade I-II liver trauma had complications. All patients who underwent NOM *** is the first option for the treatment of liver trauma if the patient is hemodynamically stable. The grade of liver injury and the volume of hemoperitoneum are not suitable criteria for selecting NOM. Hepatic angioembolization associated with the correction of hypothermia, coagulopathy and acidosis is important in the conservative treatment for liver trauma.

Artemisia annua is an anti-fever herbal medicine first described in traditional Chinese medicine 1,000 years ***,the extract of ***,and its derivatives(dihydroartemisinin(DHA),artemether,and artesunate)have been used for the treatment of malaria with substantial ***,DHA has also been tested for the treatment of lupus erythematosus,indicating that it may function to balance the immune response in immunocompromised *** the present study,the regulatory effect of artemisinin on the murine immune system was systematically investigated in mice infected with two different protozoan parasites(Toxoplasma gondii and Plasmodium berghei).Our results revealed that the mouse spleen index significantly increased(spleen enlargement)in the healthy mice after DHA administration primarily due to the generation of an extra number of lymphocytes and CD8^+T lymphocytes in both the spleen and *** could increase the proportion of T helper cells and CD8^+T cells,as well as decrease the number of splenic and circulatory B ***,DHA could reduce the production of proinflammatory *** study revealed that apart from their anti-parasitic activity,artemisinin and its derivatives can also actively modulate the immune system to directly benefit the host.

The morbidity and mortality of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)rank 6th and 4th,respectively,among malignant tumors *** diffusion-weighted imaging(DWI)uses the apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)obtained by applying the monoexponential model to reflect water molecule diffusion in active tissue;however,the value of ADC is affected by microcirculation *** a biexponential model,intravoxel incoherent motion(IVIM)-DWI quantitatively measures information related to pure water molecule diffusion and microcirculation perfusion,thus compensating for the shortcomings of *** number of studies examining the application of IVIM-DWI in patients with HCC has gradually increased over the last few years,and many results show that IVIMDWI has vital value for HCC differentiation,pathological grading,and predicting and evaluating the treatment *** present study principally reviews the principle of IVIM-DWI and its research progress in HCC differentiation,pathological grading,predicting and evaluating the treatment response,predicting postoperative recurrence and predicting gene expression prediction.

The effects of replacement on the optical properties of diketopyrrolopyrrole(DPP)-based polymers were discussed through replacing the thieno[3,2-b]thiophene units by thiophene *** is easy to see that the role of replacement would lead to blue shift of steady-state absorption spectrum when thieno[3,2-b]thiophene units is replaced by thiophene ***,the transient absorption data indicate that the role of replacement would not change the relaxation mechanism of polymer,but is able to adjust the photo-excitation relaxation rate of *** intensity-dependent dynamic curves show that the exciton-exciton annihilation(EEA)would participate in the relaxation process when the polymer is in the *** comparing the EEA data between the polymers,it is found that the role of replacement would change the spatial distribution of exciton.

BACKGROUND Low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma(LGESS)is a rare indolent tumor with a favorable *** the importance of improving quality of life recognized,fertility-sparing surgery may be an option for those young ***,most of the reports suggested that stage IA patients might be candidates for fertility-sparing surgery,and adjuvant hormonal treatment was considered a feasible adjuvant therapy for reducing the recurrence risk of patients with LGESS and hysterectomy was recommended after the completion of pregnancy and *** SUMMARY A 28-year-old pregnant woman diagnosed with stage IB LGESS was treated by fertility-sparing surgery when term cesarean section delivery was *** any adjuvant treatment,she had the other successful term pregnancy and cesarean section 45 mo after first fertility-sparing ***,only hysteroscopic resection was performed to retain fertility again even when the tumor recurred after 6 *** far the patient’s fertility and disease-free status have remained for more than 8 years without any adjuvant therapy despite local resection of the *** the two babies were in good *** For young patients with stage I LGESS,it seems that repeated fertility-sparing surgeries could be performed even after two term deliveries and the tumor recurrence,and it might be attempted without adjuvant therapy but the counseling should be considered as mandatory.

AIM: To investigate the bactericidal effects of Chenopodium ambrosioides L.(CAL) against Helicobacter pylori(***) both in vitro and in ***: For in vitro experiments, the inhibitory activity of CAL was tested using an agar dilution method; *** strain NCTC11637 was incubated on Columbia blood agar plates containing serial concentrations of *** minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC) was determined by the absence of *** colonies on the agar ***-kill curves were used to evaluate bactericidal activity; the average number of colonies was calculated at 0, 2, 8 and 24 h after liquid incubation with concentrations of CAL at 0.5, 1, and 2 × *** in vivo experiments, ***-infected mice were randomly divided into CAL, triple therapy(lansoprazole, metronidazole, and clarithromycin), blank control, or *** control *** eradication ratios were determined by positive findings from rapid urease tests(RUTs) and by ***: In vitro, the MIC of CAL against *** was 16 mg/*** time-kill curves showed a stable and persistent decreasing tendency with increasing CAL concentration, and the intensity of the bactericidal effect was proportional to dose; the 1 and 2 × MIC completely inhibited the growth of *** at 24 *** vivo, the eradication ratios in the CAL group were60%(6/10) by RUT and 50%(5/10) by *** in the triple therapy group were both 70%(7/10), and there was no difference between the CAL and triple therapy *** evaluation revealed massive bacterial colonization on the surface of gastric mucosa and slight infiltration of mononuclear cells after inoculation with ***, but no obvious inflammation or other pathologic changes in gastric mucosa of mice from CAL and triple therapy ***: CAL demonstrates effective bactericidal activity against *** both in vitro and in vivo.
