With vigorous developments in nanotechnology,the elaborate regulation of microstructure shows attractive potential in the design of electromagnetic wave ***,a hierarchical porous structure and composite heterogeneous interface are constructed successfully to optimize the electromagnetic loss *** macro–micro-synergistic graphene aerogel formed by the ice template‑assisted 3D printing strategy is cut by silicon carbide nanowires(SiC_(nws))grown in situ,while boron nitride(BN)interfacial structure is introduced on graphene *** unique composite structure forces multiple scattering of incident EMWs,ensuring the combined effects of interfacial polarization,conduction networks,and magnetic-dielectric ***,the as-prepared composites present a minimum reflection loss value of−37.8 dB and a wide effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 9.2 GHz(from 8.8 to 18.0 GHz)at 2.5 ***,rely.ng on the intrinsic high-temperature resistance of SiC_(nws) and BN,the EAB also remains above 5.0 GHz after annealing in air environment at 600℃ for 10 h.

Corrosion Behavior of Mg-Zn-y Alloy with Long-period Stacking Ordered Structures

Mg-Zn-y alloys with long-period stacking ordered structures were prepared by an ingot casting method. The corrosion performance of Mg-Zn-y alloys was studied by combining gas-collecting test, immersion test and electrochemical measurements in order to determine the corrosion rate and mechanism of the alloys. The results showed that the volume fraction of Mg（12）yZn phase increased and the shape of the Mg（12）yZn phase changed from discontinuous to continuous net-like with increasing Zn and y content. The corrosion rate of the alloys greatly depended on the distribution and volume fraction of the Mg（12）yZn phase. Corrosion products appeared at the junction of Mg phase and Mg（12）yZn phase, indicating that the Mg（12）yZn phase accelerated galvanic corrosion of Mg matrix. Mg（97）Zn1y2 alloy shows the lowest corrosion rate due to the continuous distribution of Mg（12）yZn phase.

A new C~*-algebra and its essential commutant

A new C~* -algebra E+E_* is established. It contains the large Hankel algebra N^G produced by all Toeplitz operators and Hankel operators. It is the proper algebra of B (H^2) and its essential commutant is obtained, which is generated by those Toeplitz operators that have symmetric continuous function symbols and compact operators.

Heterogeneous tide-surge interaction during co-occurrence of tropical and extratropical cyclones in the radial sand ridges of the southern yellow Sea

The Radial Sand Ridges(RSRs)area in the southern yellow Sea are subject to tropical and extratropical cyclone activities frequently,in which the special geometry feature and moving stationary tidal system result in complex storm-induced hydrodynamic processes,especially the tide-surge *** studied a rare weather event influenced simultaneously by an extratropical cyclone EX1410 and Typhoon Vongfong as an example to investigate the characteristics of storm surges,wave-surge,and tide-surge interaction in the RSRs area,and applied a high-resolution integrally-coupled ADCIRC+SWAN model,in which the meteorological forcing inputs are simulated by the WRF-ARW *** model is validated by records from 4 tide gauges and 2 wave buoys along the yellow Sea *** show that the tide-surge interactions are of considerable regional *** surge curves at Lüsi(in south RSRs)and Jianggang(in middle RSRs)have abrupt falls near the time of low tide,where the peak occurrence time of interaction residuals tend to shift towards the mid-ebb *** increase of bed shear stress in shallow waters was proved the dominant factor to affect the tide-surge interaction in broad tidal flats of the RSRs ***,the interaction pattern in the Xiy.ng Trough(in north RSRs),showed a unique rising in mid-flood period due to the phase advances of real surge waves in relatively deep ***,we suggested to the local flood risk management that the tide-surge interaction tends to alleviate the flooding risk in the RSRs area around the time of high tide,but aggravate the risk on the rising tide in the Xiy.ng Trough and on the falling tide in large-scale tidal flats of the southem RSRs area.

Synergistic enhancement on mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of biodegradable Mg-Zn-y alloy via V-microalloy.ng

For the sake of improving the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of biodegradable Mg alloy synergistically,various content of element V(0,0.05,0.10,0.15,0.20 wt.%)are introduced into an Mg-Zn-y alloy with long-period stacking ordered(LPSO)structure,and the effects of V on its microstructure,mechanical properties and corrosion resistance are investigated *** results indicate that the grains are effectively refined by V addition,and the primaryα-Mg in Mg-Zn-y-V0.1 alloy is most significantly refined,with grain size being decreased by 62%.The amount of 18R LPSO structure is increased owing to the V *** growth mode of the second phase(W-phase and 18R LPSO structure)is transformed to divorced growth pattern,which ascribes to the thermodynamic drive force of V to promote the nucleation of LPSO ***,18R LPSO structure presents a continuous *** to grains refinement and modification of second phase,the tensile strength and strain of alloys are both enhanced ***,the ultimate tensile strength and the elongation of V0.1 alloy are 254 MPa and 15.26%,which are 41%and 61%higher than those of V-free alloy,*** to the continuously distributed 18R LPSO structure with refined grains and stable product film,the weight loss and hydrogen evolution corrosion rates of V0.1 alloy are 7.1 and 6.2 mmy^(-1),respectively,which are 42.6%and 45.4%lower than those of V-free alloy.

Optimisation of superplastic processing parameters for (Cu_(43)Zr_(48)Al_9)_(98)y_2 bulk metallic glasses

In this study,hot compression tests of (Cu_(43)Zr_(48)Al_9)_(98)y_2 bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) were performed,and their micro structure and thermal properties after the deformation were studied to explore the appropriate range of their optimum processing parameters. The experimental results show that the superplastic deformation of (Cu_(43)Zr_(48)Al_9)_(98)y_2 bulk metallic glasses depends mainly on the temperature and strain rate. It is suitable for superplastic processing when the alloys are in the state of Newtonian flow and do not crystallise. The appropriate processing parameters of (Cu_(43)Zr_(48)Al_9)_(98)y_2 BMGs are the temperatures and strain rates, which are below the "dividing line". And when the temperature is above733 K, the strain rate must be>1×10^(-3) s^(-1).

Defects,such as stacking faults(SF)and twins,play a crucial role in stabilizing the order phase and improving the mechanical properties for engineering *** formation mechanism of theγtwins from α_(2)-platelets within β_(0) areas was analyzed at atomic-scale by atomic-resolution high-angle annular dark-feld scanning transmission electron microscopy(HADDF-STEM).The growth faults(ABABCBC)were formed in α_(2)-platelets,yielding a local D0_(19)→L1_(0)(α_(2)→γ)phase *** the annealing process,the growth faults can be rearranged intoγ(ABCABC)and γ^(T)(ACBACB)platelets via the slipping of Shockley partial dislocations 1/3[1010]and 1/3[1010],*** γ and γ^(T) can merge intoγtwins by accident during *** interface steps between α_(2) and γ platelets implied that this transformation is a diffusion-controlled defect migration *** present work provides profound insight towards the formation mechanism ofγtwins,contributing to microstructure controlling and performance improving for TiAl alloys.

Hot deformation behaviors of WE71 alloy under plain strain compression at elevated temperature

Hot deformation behaviors of WE71（Mg–7y-1Nd-0.5Zr） alloy was investigated by plain strain compression tests conducted at temperatures ranging from 350 °C to 500 °C and strain rates vary.ng from 0.01 s-1to 10 s-1. Results show that the hot deformation of WE71 was accompanied by the precipitation of rich Zr phase with granular shape and block-shaped phase rich in element y. When deformed at low temperature and high strain rate, the softening behavior of the alloy was synergically determined by shear bands propagation, adiabatic heating,twinning formation and dynamic recrystallization（DRX）. For the conditions of high temperature and high strain rate, DRX was the major softening mechanism while the formation and annihilation of extension twinning resulted in a special flow curve characteristic at the strain of around 0.3. According to the microstructural observations, it can be concluded that the irregular flow curves of WE71 alloy during plain strain compression process are mainly ascribed to shear bands propagation, adiabatic heating, twinning formation and DRX.
