Free sterols from rice dry embryo reduce the onset phase transition temperature and widen the transition range of total polar lipids and phosphatidylglycerol, which increases the membrane fluidity below their phase transition temperature and decreases the fluidity of membranes above their phase transition temperature. And 50% of free sterols result in a complete disappearance of phase transition. The fluidity of other main components of polar lipids is decreased by free sterols above 0℃. The results confirm that free sterols can modulate membrane lipid fluidity.

The homoclinic bifurcations in four dimensional vector fields are investigated by setting up a local coordinates near the homoclinic orbit. This homoclinic orbit is nonprincipal in the meanings that its positive semi-orbit takes orbit flip and its unstable foliation takes inclination flip. The existence, nonexistence, uniqueness and coexistence of the 1-homoclinic orbit and the 1-periodic orbit are studied. The existence of the twofold periodic orbit and three-fold periodic orbit are also obtained.

Using the methods of dynamical systems for two generalized Boussinesq systems, the existence of all possible solitary wave solutions and many uncountably infinite periodic wave solutions is obtained. Exact explicit parametric representations of the travelling solutions are given. To guarantee the existence of the above solutions, all parameter conditions are determined.

In ordet to maintain the dependability of system and meet the functional needof users dtsire, this paper introduces a survivability mechanism into embedded real-time system,and proposes a general comprehensive, approach based on a rigorous definition of survivability. Thisapproach permits a trade-off between the function and the cost of system development. It emphasizesthe ultradependable implementation of crucial function without demanding that of entire system.

A dicarboxylate ligand,5-carboxyl-1-carboxymethyl-2-oxidopyridinium (H2L),was utilized to form four complexes with the general formula [M(HL)2(H2O)]·2H2O,M = CuII (1),ZnII (2),MnII (3),CdII (4).The crystals were isomorphous,belonging to the monoclinic C2/c space *** were constructed from 1D chains and further linked by hydrogen bonds into a novel binodal (6,8)-connected 3D supramolecular network with twofold *** studies revealed that complexes 2-4 displayed intense structure-related fluorescent emission bands.
