The known methods for the preparation of acylphosphine oxides and polyfluorobenzene-substituted triarylphosphines need to utilize PCl_(3),while the chlorine-free methods are not reported.In this work,we report a chlorine-free method by one-pot three-component reaction of white phosphorus(P_(4)),dilithio reagents,and acyl chlorines or polyfluorobenzenes for the synthesis of biphenyl-based acylphosphine oxides and phosphines.This reaction is green and environmentally friendly compared with the traditional method,because it avoids the use of Cl_(2) and the discharge of a large amount of waste gas and waste acid.These two products have potential applications as photoinitiators in photopolymerization or as organophosphorus ligands in catalytic reactions.

Modern applications often require a large amount of memory. Conventional 4KB pages lead to large page tables and thus exert high pressure on TLB address translations. This pressure is more prominent in a virtualized system, which adds an additional layer of address translation. Page walks due to TLB misses can result in a significant performance overhead. One effort in reducing this overhead is to use hugepage. Linux kernel has supported transparent hugepage since 2.6.38, which provides an alternate large page size. Generally,hugepage demonstrates better performance on address translations and page table modifications. This paper first analyzes the impact of hugepage on native system, and then, compares the impact of hugepage on different memory virtualization approaches: hardware-assisted paging(HAP), shadow paging, and para-virtualization.We observe that the current implementation of transparent hugepage is inefficient. It cannot exploit the full performance advantage of hugepages. Worse yet, the conservative strategy of transparent hugepage may conflict with existing OS functions, which can lead to performance degradation. So, we propose a new memory allocation strategy, alignment-based hugepage(ABH) that promotes hugepage allocations. We apply ABH to different paging modes in virtualized systems. The results show that the new allocation strategy can significantly reduce TLB misses and up to 90% page walk cycles due to TLB misses and thus improve the performance in real world applications.

Summary of main observation and conclusion Studies on the aggregation degrees of negatively charged phosphides derived from the nucleophilic P4 functionalization could help understand the pathway of phosphorus atoms degradation or aggregation.In this report,we have isolated and characterized four phosphorus cluster anions (P7^3-,P14^4-,P16^2-,and P26^4-)from the nucleophilic functionalization of P4 with 1,4-dilithio-1,3-butadienes.These phosphorus clusters could be rationalized as the P-atom-containing products besides the main phospholyl lithium.Their structural features and 31p NMR behaviors are discussed based on single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and 31P{1H}COSY NMR analysis.

Treatment plan selection is a complex process because it sometimes needs sufficient experience and clinical information.Nowadays it is even harder for doctors to select an appropriate treatment plan for certain patients since doctors might encounter difficulties in obtaining the right information and analyzing the diverse clinical data.In order to improve the effectiveness of clinical decision making in complicated information system environments,we first propose a linked data-based approach for treatment plan selection.The approach integrates the patients’clinical records in hospitals with open linked data sources out of hospitals.Then,based on the linked data net,treatment plan selection is carried on aided by similar historical therapy cases.Finally,we reorganize the electronic medical records of 97 colon cancer patients using the linked data model and count the similarity of these records to help treatment selecting.The experiment shows the usability of our method in supporting clinical decisions.

The application of forced mercury oxidation technology would lead to an increase of Hg^(2+)concentration in the flue gas.Although Hg^(2+)can be easily removed in the WFGD,the mercury re-emission in the WFGD can decrease the total removal of mercury from coal-fired power plants.Hence,it is necessary to control Hg^(2+)concentration in the devices before the WFGD.Fly ash adsorbent is considered as a potential alternative for commercial activated carbon adsorbent.However,the adsorption efficiency of the original fly ash is low.Modification procedure is needed to enhance the adsorption performance.In this study,the adsorption of Hg^(2+)by brominated fly ash was studied.The fly ash was collected from the full-scale power plant utilizing bromide-blended coal combustion technology.The brominated fly ash exhibited excellent performance for Hg^(2+)removal.The flue gas component HBr and SO_(2)could improve adsorbent’s performance,while HCl would hinder its adsorption process.Also,it was demonstrated by Hg-TPD experiments that the adsorbed Hg^(2+)mainly existed on the fly ash surface in the form of HgBr_(2).In summary,the brominated fly ash has a broad application prospect for mercury control.

高强高导铜合金经过塑性加工后通常具有高强度,但会严重损失塑性。因此,需要开发新工艺,从而不断提升铜合金的力学性能和电学性能。对固溶态Cu-0.7Cr-0.19Zr合金进行冷轧处理(样品SR),分别采用低温预时效、高温单级时效、低温预时效结合高温时效3种不同的处理工艺制备样品,样品分别命名为SRP, SRA和SRPA。对4种样品的微观组织、强度、塑性和导电率进行了测试。结果表明,时效处理并未造成明显再结晶,保留了超细晶结构及高密度位错。与样品SR相比,单级时效与双级时效均可促成力学与电学性能的综合提升,而双级时效比单级时效更加有效。对样品的强度、塑性和导电率的影响进行了分析。

Protein misfolding and aggregation are crucial pathogenic factors for cataracts,which are the leading cause of visual impairment worldwide.α-crystallin,as a small molecular chaperone,is involved in preventing protein misfolding and maintaining lens transparency.The chaperone activity of α-crystallin depends on its oligomeric state.Our previous work identified a natural compound,celastrol,which could regulate the oligomeric state of αB-crystallin.In this work,based on the UNcle and SEC analysis,we found that celastrol induced𝛼αB-crystallin to form large oligomers.Large oligomer formation enhanced the chaperone activity of αB-crystallin and prevented aggregation of the cataract-causing mutant αA3-G91del.The interactions between𝛼αB-crystallin and celastrol were detected by the FRET(Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer)technique,and verified by molecular docking.At least 9 binding patterns were recognized,and some binding sites covered the groove structure of αB-crystallin.Interestingly,αB-R120G,a cataract-causing mutation located at the groove structure,and celastrol can decrease the aggregates of αB-R120G.Overall,our results suggested celastrol not only promoted the formation of large αB-crystallin oligomers,which enhanced its chaperone activity,but also bound to the groove structure of its α-crystallin domain to maintain its structural stability.Celastrol might serve as a chemical and pharmacological chaperone for cataract treatment.
