Single-atom nanozymes(SANs)have attracted extensive attention due to their characteristics of both single-atom catalysts(SACs)and enzymes.Using spin-polarized density functional theory(DFT)calculations combined with the hybrid solvation model,this work designed a series of carbon-supported Group VIII transition metals TMS_(4)-C SANs,similar to the TMS_(4)active center of formate dehydrogenase(FADH),aiming to develop highly efficient SANs for CO_(2)electroreduction.DFT calculations show that compared with TMN4-C,TMS_(4)-C have FADH-like feature,which can selectively reduce CO_(2)to formic acid.Particularly,CoS4-C is the most promising SAN for CO_(2)reduction,with a low limiting potential of-0.07 V,which exceeds most reported catalysts.Two descriptors of TMX4-C(X=N,S)based on intrinsic and electronic structure properties were proposed to shed light on the origin activity of candidates.The findings presented here will provide new insights into the design of novel enzyme-like catalysts for electrochemical CO_(2)reduction.

The chloride salts have great potential used as high-temperature thermal energy storage(TES) medium for the concentrated solar power system.In this study,LiCl,KCl and CaCl_(2) were selected as energy storage materials in order to further broaden the working temperature of ternary chloride salt and improve its energy storage density.The new high-temperature energy storage ternary chloride composed of LiCl,KCl,and CaCl_(2) was developed based on the phase diagram generated by FactSage.Three components of LiCl-KCl-CaCl_(2) with the mass ratio of 37.85%-53.38%-8.77%,30.90%-13.82%-55.28% and 1.78%-18.61%-79.61% were developed,of which the corresponding melting temperature(T_(m)) 340.93,433.57 and 626.85℃,respectively,was obtained either.Considering that T_(m) of the third group of salts was too high,only the first two groups of salts were tested.DSC test showed that the actual melting point was only 0.46% and 1.64% different from the melting point predicted by Factsage.The thermal properties of the two ternary chloride salts were also compared.The solid and liquid-specific heat of ternary salts was determined by DSC using sapphire as the standard reference.The vapor pressure and decomposition temperature of ternary chloride salts were investigated.The results showed that the vapor pressure of salt 1 was almost constant below 650℃ by FactSage.Meanwhile,the TG results showed that the upper working temperature of salt 1 was 650℃ under the air atmosphere.In addition,the ternary chloride salts after short-term cycling still exhibited excellent thermal properties,which revealed that these good thermal properties make them have broad application prospects in high-temperature thermal energy storage systems.

Spiking neural network(SNN),widely known as the third-generation neural network,has been frequently investigated due to its excellent spatiotemporal information processing capability,high biological plausibility,and low energy consumption characteristics.Analogous to the working mechanism of human brain,the SNN system transmits information through the spiking action of neurons.Therefore,artificial neurons are critical building blocks for constructing SNN in hardware.Memristors are drawing growing attention due to low consumption,high speed,and nonlinearity characteristics,which are recently introduced to mimic the functions of biological neurons.Researchers have proposed multifarious memristive materials including organic materials,inorganic materials,or even two-dimensional materials.Taking advantage of the unique electrical behavior of these materials,several neuron models are successfully implemented,such as Hodgkin–Huxley model,leaky integrate-and-fire model and integrate-and-fire model.In this review,the recent reports of artificial neurons based on memristive devices are discussed.In addition,we highlight the models and applications through combining artificial neuronal devices with sensors or other electronic devices.Finally,the future challenges and outlooks of memristor-based artificial neurons are discussed,and the development of hardware implementation of brain-like intelligence system based on SNN is also prospected.

The designing of reasonable nanocomposite materials and proper introduction of defect engineering are of great significance for the improvement of the poor electronic conductivity and slow reaction kinetics of manganese-based compounds. Herein, we report manganese-deficient Mn_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles which grow in-situ on highly conductive carbon nanotubes(CNTs)(denoted as DMOC) as an advanced cathode material for aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion batteries(RAZIBs). According to experimental and calculation results, the DMOC cathode integrates the advantages of enriched Mn defects and small particle size. These features not only enhance electronic conductivity but also create more active site and contribute to fast reaction kinetics. Moreover, the structure of DMOC is maintained during the charging and discharging process, thus benefiting for excellent cycle stability. As a result, the DMOC electrode delivers a high specific capacity of 420.6 m A h g^(-1) at 0.1 A g^(-1) and an excellent cycle life of 2800 cycles at 2.0 A g^(-1) with a high-capacity retention of 84.1%. In addition, the soft-packaged battery assembled with DMOC cathode exhibits long cycle life and high energy density of 146.3 Wh kg^(-1) at 1.0 A g^(-1) . The results are beneficial for the development of Zn/Mn_(3)O_(4) battery for practical energy storage.

Aiming at the problem that the current encrypted traffic classification methods only use the single network framework such as convolutional neural network(CNN),recurrent neural network(RNN),and stacked autoencoder(SAE),and only construct a shallow network to extract features,which leads to the low accuracy of encrypted traffic classification,an encrypted traffic classification framework based on the fusion of vision transformer and temporal features was proposed.Bottleneck transformer network(BoTNet)was used to extract spatial features and bi-directional long short-term memory(BiLSTM)was used to extract temporal features.After the two sub-networks are parallelized,the feature fusion method of early fusion was used in the framework to perform feature fusion.Finally,the encrypted traffic was identified through the fused features.The experimental results show that the BiLSTM and BoTNet fusion transformer(BTFT)model can enhance the performance of encrypted traffic classification by fusing multi-dimensional features.The accuracy rate of a virtual private network(VPN)and non-VPN binary classification is 99.9%,and the accuracy rate of fine-grained encrypted traffic twelve-classification can also reach 97%.

Abstract Different organ preservation methods are key factors influencing the results of fiver transplantation. In this study, the outcomes of experimental models receiving donation after cardiac death （DCD） livers preserved through machine perfusion （MP） or static cold storage （CS） were compared by conducting a meta-analysis. Standardized mean difference （SMD） and 95% confidence interval （CI） were calculated to compare pooled data from two animal species. Twenty-four studies involving MP preservation were included in the meta-analysis. Compared with CS preservation, MP can reduce the levels of aspartate aminotransferase （AST）, alanine aminotransferase （ALT）, lactate dehydrogenase （LDH）, and hyaluronic acid （HA） and the changes in liver weight. By contrast, MP can enhance bile production and portal vein flow （PVF）. Alkaline phosphatase （ALP） levels and histological changes significantly differed between the two preservation methods. In conclusion, MP of DCD livers is superior to CS in experimental animals.

Regulatory T(Treg) cells, a subtype of immunosuppressive CD4^+T cells, are vital for maintaining immune homeostasis in healthy people. Forkhead box protein P3(FOXP3), a member of the forkhead-wingedhelix family, is the pivotal transcriptional factor of Treg cells. The expression, post-translational modifications, and protein complex of FOXP3 present a great impact on the functional stability and immune plasticity of Treg cells in vivo. In particular, the mutation of FOXP3 can result in immune dysregulation,polyendocrinopathy, enteropathy, X-linked(IPEX) syndrome, which is a rare genetic disease mostly diagnosed in early childhood and can soon be fatal. IPEX syndrome is related to several manifestations,including dermatitis, enteropathy, type 1 diabetes, thyroiditis, and so on. Here, we summarize some recent findings on FOXP3 regulation and Treg cell function. We also review the current knowledge about the underlying mechanism of FOXP3 mutant-induced IPEX syndrome and some latest clinical prospects.At last, this review offers a novel insight into the role played by the FOXP3 complex in potential therapeutic applications in IPEX syndrome.

Identification and analysis of mouse non-coding RNA using transcriptome data

Transcripts are expressed spatially and temporally and they are very complicated, precise and specific; however, most studies are focused on protein-coding related genes. Recently, massively parallel c DNA sequencing(RNA-seq) has emerged to be a new and promising tool for transcriptome research, and numbers of non-coding RNAs, especially linc RNAs, have been widely identified and well characterized as important regulators of diverse biological processes. In this study, we used ultra-deep RNA-seq data from 15 mouse tissues to study the diversity and dynamic of non-coding RNAs in mouse. Using our own criteria, we identified totally 16,249 non-coding genes(21,569 non-coding RNAs) in mouse. We annotated these non-coding RNAs by diverse properties and found non-coding RNAs are generally shorter, have fewer exons, express in lower level and are more strikingly tissue-specific compared with protein-coding genes. Moreover, these non-coding RNAs show significant enrichment with transcriptional initiation and elongation signals including histone modifications(H3K4me3, H3K27me3 and H3K36me3), RNAPII binding sites and CAGE tags. The gene set enrichment analysis(GSEA) result revealed several sets of linc RNAs associated with diverse biological processes such as immune effector process, muscle development and sexual reproduction. Taken together, this study provides a more comprehensive annotation of mouse non-coding RNAs and gives an opportunity for future functional and evolutionary study of mouse non-coding RNAs.

Deformation Calculation of Cross-section Based on Virtual Force in Thin-walled Tube Bending Process

Cross-section deformation is one of important factors affecting the quality of tube formation, and the tube＇s capability of transporting liquid and gas will be reduced because of the cross-section ellipse deformation due to the effect of shear load in plastic bending process. When the tube is bent, the extrados-wall bears the tension stress and the intrados-wall bears the compression stress, synchronously the cross-section is affected by the circumferential stress. According to the above, the distribution function and curve of tangential stress can be obtained according to force balance differential equations on circumferential direction and Trasca rule. Subsequently the real state and virtual state moment equations were established, a new method was presented adopting the virtual principle of deformation system to calculate the x-axis and y-axis displacement of arbitrary point on cross-section. So the major and minor axes of deformed cross-section can be calculated according to the displacements of each point, and the variety value of major and minor axes will be obtained further. Finally the theoretical calculating result is compared with NC tube rotary-bending experiment results to verify the rationality of theoretical analysis, and the cross-section deformation rule of thin-walled tube can be received.
