扁桃体滤泡树突状细胞肉瘤1例

本文报道1例发生于青年男性的扁桃体滤泡树突状细胞肉瘤(follicular dendritic cell sarcoma,FDCS)。患者男性,35岁,因"发现右扁桃体肿物20 d"就诊。术前活检提示右侧扁桃体恶性肿瘤可能性大,增强磁共振成像(magnetic resonance imaging,MRI)提示右侧扁桃体肿大,可见软组织肿物突向口咽腔,表面见溃疡影。患者在全身麻醉下行低温等离子右侧扁桃体及肿瘤切除术,术后病理确诊为FDCS。患者术后第8天出院,出院至今已规律随访3年,复查未见肿瘤复发及转移,预后良好。

Impact of festival factor on electric quantity multiplication forecast model

This research aims to improve the forecasting precision of electric quantity. It is discovered that the total electricity consumption considerably increased during the Spring Festival by the analysis of the electric quantity time series from 2002 to 2007 in Shandong province. The festival factor is ascertained to be one of the important seasonal factors affecting the electric quantity fluctuations, and the multiplication model for forecasting is improved by introducing corresponding variables and parameters. The computational results indicate that the average relative error of the new model decreases from 4.31% to 1.93% and the maximum relative error from 14.05% to 6.52% compared with those of the model when the festival factor is not considered. It shows that introducing the festival factor into the multiplication model for electric quantity forecasting evidently improves the precision.

Pancreatic cancer （PC） occurs when malignant cells develop in the part of the pancreas, a glandular organ behind the stomach. For 2015, there are about 40,560 people dead of pancreatic cancer （20,710 men and 19,850 women） in the US （Siegel et al., 2015）. Though PC accounts for about 3% of all cancers in the US, it can cause about 7% of cancer deaths. This is mainly because that the early stages of this cancer do not usually produce symptoms, and thus the cancer is almost always fatal when it is diagnosed.

During oncogenesis,the hyper-activation of proto-oncogenes and defection of tumor suppressor genes（Zhao et al.,2012,2016a）can regulate cell proliferation,differentiation,apoptosis,and cell-to-cell communication（Balmain et al.,2003;Haber and Settleman,2007）.Recent evidence has shown that non-coding RNAs, such as microRNAs （miRNAs）（Chen, 2005）, and long non- coding RNAs （lncRNAs）, can also act as oncogenes to initiate and promote cancer progression.

Protein-protein interactions play key roles in cells. Lots of experimental approaches and in silico methods have been developed to identify and predict large-scale pro- tein-protein interactions. However, compared with the tradi- tionally experimental results, the high-throughput pro- tein-protein interaction data often contain the false positives in high probability. In order to fully utilize the large-scale data, it is necessary to develop bioinformatic methods for systematically evaluating those data in order to further im- prove the data reliability and mine biological information. This review summarizes the methodologies of analysis and application of high-throughput protein-protein interaction data, including the evaluation methods, the relationship be- tween protein-protein interaction data and other protein biological information, and their applications in biological study. In addition, this paper also suggests some interesting topics on mining high-throughput protein-protein interaction data.

A water flow simulation device capable of adjusting flow velocity was designed in flow velocity range of 0–30 cm/s,with which an indoor experiment was conducted to simulate the movement and adhesive behaviors of different-sized Apostichopus japonicus under different flow *** showed that,in slow flow(~5 cm/s),*** moved more distance than in still water,and hardly moved in the riptide(~30 cm/s);and the adhesive capacity of *** was related to the flow velocity and attachment *** were able to attach to the bottom after any attachment time in the slow flow,after 10 s in the medium flow(~15 cm/s),and after 60 s in the riptide(~30 cm/s).In addition,larger *** were stronger with adhesive ability than smaller *** transcriptome data showed that the expression of transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily A,member 1(TRPA1)in the tube feet was increased significantly in a flowing water,but those in the tentacles and tube feet were not significantly *** in-situ hybridization results showed that TRPA1 was expressed around the watervascular of tentacles,tube feet,body wall,and ***,tube feet were important for sea cucumbers to keep themselves stable in relatively swift flow with adhesion ability.

The conversion of agricultural residual biomass into biochar as a sulfur host material for Li-S batteries is a promising approach to alleviate the greenhouse effect and realize waste resource ***,the large-scale application of pristine biochar is hindered by its low electrical conductivity and limited electrocatalytic *** paper addressed these challenges via the construction of Fe-N co-doped biochar(Fe-NOPC)through the copyrolysis of sesame seeds shell and ferric sodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid(NaFeEDTA).During the synthesis process,NaFeEDTA was used as an extra carbon resource to regulate the chemical environment of N doping,which resulted in the production of high contents of graphitic,pyridinic,and pyrrolic N and Fe-Nx *** the resulting Fe-NOPC was used as a sulfur host,the pyridinic and pyrrolic N would adjust the surface electron structure of biochar to accelerate the electron/ion transport,and the electropositive graphitic N could be combined with sulfur-related species via electrostatic ***-Nx could also promote the redox reaction of lithium polysulfides due to the strong Li-N and S-Fe *** from these advantages,the resultant Fe-NOPC/S cathode with a sulfur loading of 3.8 mg·cm^(-2)delivered an areal capacity of 4.45 mAh·cm^(-2)at 0.1C and retained a capacity of 3.45 mAh·cm^(-2)at ***,this cathode material holds enormous potential for achieving energy-dense Li-S batteries.

Leptospira interrogans serovar Lai is a pathogenic bacterium that causes a spirochetal zoonosis in humans and some animals. With its complete genome sequence available, it is possible to analyze protein-protein interactions from a whole- genome standpoint. Here we combine four recently developed computational approaches (gene fusion method, gene neighbor method, phylogenetic profiles method, and operon method) to predict protein-pro- tein interaction networks of Leptospira interrogans strain Lai. Through comprehensive analysis on in- teractions among proteins of motility and chemotaxis system, signal transduction, lipopolysaccaride bio- synthesis and a series of proteins related to adhesion and invasion, we provided information for further studying on its pathogenic mechanism. In addition, we also assigned 203 previously uncharacterized proteins with possible functions based on the known functions of its interacting partners. This work is helpful for further investigating L. interrogans strain Lai.

Structure and internal stress of Au films deposited on SiO_2/Si(100) and mica by dc sputtering

Au films with a thickness of about 300 nm were deposited on SiO_2/Si(100) andmica substrates by dc sputtering. X-ray diffraction spectroscopy and field emission scanningelectron microscopy were used to analyze the structure and internal stress of the Au films. Thefirms grown on SiO_2/Si(100) show a preferential orientation of [111] in the growth *** the films grown on mica have mixture crystalline orientations of [111], [200], [220] and[311] in the growth direction and the orientations of [200] and [311] are slightly more than thoseof [111] and [220]. An internal stress in the films grown on SiO_2/Si(100) is tensile. For Au filmsgrown on mica the internal stresses in the [111]- and [311]-orientation grains are compressive whilethose in the [200]- and [220]-orientation grains are tensile. Au films grown SiO_2/Si(100) havesome very large grains with a size of about 400 nm and have a wider grain size distribution comparedwith those grown on mica.
