Ultrafiltration and a series of chromatographic steps were used to isolate and purify polysaccharides from Tremella aurantialba fruit *** crude fractions(TAP50w,TAP10-50w,and TAP1-10w),five semi-purified fractions(TAPA-TAPE),and one purified fraction(TAPA1) were obtained.A sulfated derivative of TAPA1(TAPA1-s) was prepared by chemical *** immunostimulating activity of the polysaccharide fractions in vitro was determined using the mouse spleen lymphocyte proliferation *** the three crude fractions tested,cell prolifera-tion rates were increased most by ***,TAPA1-s was markedly more stimulatory than TAPA1,indicating that sulfonation was an effective way to enhance the immunostimulating activity of polysaccharide.

AIM: To explore the efficacy and mechanism of a novel therapeutic method of traditional Chinese medicine in patients with refractory cirrhotic ascites complicated with azotemia. METHODS: Seventy-five cases of refractory cirrhotic ascites complicated with azotemia were randomly divided into 3 groups: comprehensive treatment (n = 29), simple treatment (n = 24), and control (n = 22). The basic treatment methods were the same in all groups, including liver protecting medicines, diuretics and supportive drugs. The control group underwent only the basic treatment. Shehuang Paste (SHP) was applied to the navels of the two treatment groups once a day for 30 d. Colon dialysis with Chinese herbs was administered to the comprehensive treatment group once every two days. Before and after treatment, we measured abdominal circumference, BUN, Cr, serum Na+, urine Na+/K+, liver function, endotoxin content, NO, and ET-1. Color Doppler ultrasonography was conducted to measure the portal vein blood flow. RESULTS: The total effective rate for ascites was 72.4% in the comprehensive treatment group, 45.8% in the simple treatment, contrasting with 18.2% in the controls. Between the two treatment groups and the controls, there were significant differences in the effective rates (P 0.05).

NO3 and N2O5 are important participants in nocturnal atmospheric chemical processes,and their concentrations are of great significance in the study of the mechanism of nocturnal atmospheric chemical reactions.A two-channel diode laser based cavity ring-down spectroscopy(CRDS)instrument was developed to monitor the concentrations of NO3 and N2O5 in the *** effective absorption length ratio and the total loss coefficient of the instrument were calibrated using laboratory standard *** effective absorption cross section of NO3 at 662 nm was derived.A detection sensitivity of 1.1 pptv NO3 in air was obtained at a time resolution of 1 s.N2O5 was converted to NO3 and detected online in the second CRDS *** instrument was used to monitor the concentrations of NO3 and N2O5 in the atmosphere of winter in Hefei in real *** comparing the concentration changes of pollutants such as nitrogen oxides,ozone,PM2:5 in a rapid air cleaning process,the factors affecting the concentrations of NO3 and N2O5 in the atmosphere were discussed.

The divergence and continuous evolution of plants and animals contribute to ecological *** and transcription factors(TFs) are key determinants of gene regulation and transcription ***,theevolutionary trajectories and relationships of promoters and TFs are still poorly understood. Here, we conducted extensive analysis of large-scale multi-omics sequences in 420 animal species and 223 plant species spanning nearly a billion years of evolutionary history. Results showed that promoter GC-contentandTFisoelectricpoints,as features/signatures that accompany long biological evolution, exhibited increasing growth in animal cells but a decreasing trend in plant cells. Furthermore, the evolutionary trajectories of promoter and TF signatures in the animal kingdom provided further evidence that Mammalia as well as Aves evolved directly from the ancestor Reptilia. The strong correlation between promoter and TF signatures indicates that promoters and TFs formed antagonistic coevolution in the animal kingdom, but mutualistic coevolution in the plant kingdom. The distinct coevolutionary patterns potentially drive the plant-animal divergence, divergent evolution and ecological diversity.

团队规模与绩效的关系是组织管理中的一个经典话题,但以往研究结果却并未达成一致。鉴于此,本研究引入数值仿真和问卷调查两种方法,考察了团队规模与管理绩效的关系,以及团队冲突的调节效应。基于团队过程与效率理论和信息/决策理论,首先建立了团队规模、团队冲突和管理绩效之间关系的数学模型。数值仿真结果显示,团队规模与管理绩效之间的关系依赖于团队内的冲突水平。对94个工作团队进行数据分析,结果显示:团队规模与管理绩效之间呈现倒U形的曲线关系;团队冲突调节团队规模与团队绩效的关系。本研究从冲突管理视角探讨了团队规模的合理设计问题,丰富了组织设计的理论与方法。

Lithium argyrodites with high ionic conductivity and low cost are considered as one of the most prospective solid electrolytes for all-solid-state lithium ***,the poor chemical stability and compatibility with lithium metal limit their ***,Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2solid electrolyte with high ionic conductivity of 11.49 m S cm-1and improved chemical stability is synthesized by iodine *** ultra-thin Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2membrane with thickness of 10μm can be obtained by wet coating process,exhibiting a high ionic conductivity of 2.09 mS cm-1and low areal resistance of 1.17Ω***,iodine doping could in-situ form LiI at the lithium/electrolyte interface and improve the critical current density of Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.6from 0.8 to 1.35 mA *** resultant LiCoO2/Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2/Li battery shows excellent cycling stability at 1 C,with a reversible specific capacity of 110.1 mA h g-1and a retention of 80.5% after 1000 *** addition,the assembled LiCoO2/Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2membrane/Li pouch cell delivers an initial discharge capacity of 110.4 mA h g-1and 80.5% capacity retention after 100 cycles.

Quality control and evaluation of human immunodeficiency virus antibody assays used for screening donated blood in China

During 2004, a total of 124 batches of HIV antibody ELISAs from domestic and overseas manufacturers, comprising approximately 60 million tests, were tested for quality and released for screening blood in China. The inter- and intra-batch variation, specificity, and sensitivity were evaluated using a laboratory panel and clinical samples. The inter-batch variation was less than 15% and only 2 of 12 assays had intra-bateh variation of less than 20% for 4 dilutions of a control specimen. 257 samples confirmed positive for HIV antibody and 4826 negative samples from different regions in China were used to evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of the assays. The results showed that the sensitivity is in the range from 93.7% to 100% for assays sampled directly from the manufacturers, and 91.4%-99.6% for those retrieved from the consumers; the specificity was in the range from 97.88 % to 99.97 %. The testing environment may vary in different regions of China. Therefore, manufaeturers should provide robust assays to satisfy the requirements of these diverse environments, and especially reduce the intra-assay variation and improve the stability of the kits.
