Most species have clearly defined distribution ranges and ecological *** genetic and ecological causes of species differentiation and the mechanisms that maintain species boundaries between newly evolved taxa and their progenitors are,however,less clearly *** study investigated the genetic structure and clines in Pinus densata,a pine of hybrid origin on the southeastern Tibetan Plateau,to gain an understanding of the contemporary dynamics of species *** analyzed genetic diversity in a range-wide collection of *** and representative populations of its progenitors,Pinus tabuliformis and Pinus yunnanensis,using exome capture *** detected four distinct genetic groups within *** that reflect its migration history and major gene-flow barriers across the *** demographies of these genetic groups in the Pleistocene were associated with regional glaciation ***,population sizes rebounded rapidly during interglacial periods,suggesting persistence and resilience of the species during the Quaternary ice *** the contact zone between *** and ***,3.36%of the analyzed loci(57849)showed exceptional patterns of introgression,suggesting their potential roles in either adaptive introgression or reproductive *** outliers showed strong clines along critical climate gradients and enrichment in a number of biological processes relevant to high-altitude *** indicates that ecological selection played an important role in generating genomic heterogeneity and a genetic barrier across a zone of species *** study highlights the forces that operate to maintain species boundaries and promote speciation in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and other mountain systems.

Hydrogen-free diamond-like carbon (DLC) films with the optical band gaps of 2.0-2.7 e V and the microhardness of 40-55 GPa are deposited by femtosecond KrF laser pulses. The film microstructure of nanometer spheroid is observed. The filrn microhardness is improved with the increase of ion kinetic energy of plasma plume from 300 to 600 eV. The characteristics of DLC film deposition with fs pulses is discussed.

The endosomal-lysosomal system is made up of a set of intracellular membranous compartments that dynamically interconvert,which is comprised of early endosomes,recycling endosomes,late endosomes,and the *** addition,autophagosomes execute autophagy,which delivers intracellular contents to the *** of endosomes and/or autophagosomes into a lysosome creates an unique acidic environment within the cell for proteolysis and recycling of unneeded cellular components into usable amino acids and other biomolecular building *** the endocytic pathway,gradual maturation of endosomes into a lysosome and acidification of the late endosome are accompanied by vesicle trafficking,protein sorting and targeted degradation of some sorted *** opposing sorting systems are operating in these processes:the endosomal sorting complex required for transport(ESCRT)supports targeted degradation and the retromer supports retrograde retrieval of certain *** endosomal-lysosomal system is emerging as a central player in a host of neurodegenerative diseases,demonstrating potential roles which are likely to be revealed in pathogenesis and for viable therapeutic *** we focus on the physiological process of endosomal-lysosomal maturation,acidification and sorting systems along the endocytic pathway,and further discuss relationships between abnormalities in the endosomal-lysosomal system and neurodegenerative diseases,especially Alzheimer’s disease(AD).

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of Compound Danshen Dripping Pills(CDDP) combined with isosorbide mononitrate(ISMN) versus ISMN alone for treating angina pectoris in ***: The Pub Med, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Embase China National Knowledge Infrastructure, China Biomedical Literature Service System, Chinese Medical Journal Database, and Wan Fang MED databases were searched from inception to November 2022. Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) and cohort studies were included. The primary outcomes were angina symptom and electrocardiography(ECG) efficacy, angina symptom efficacy, and ECG efficacy. The protocol was registered with PROSPERO No. ***: Our study included 7 245 patients with angina(59 RCTs, 11 cohort studies). When ISMN was combined with CDDP, the efficacy of angina symptom and ECG [odds ratio(OR) = 4.824, 95% confidence interval(CI) = 3.636–6.401, P = 0.000], the efficacy of angina symptom(OR = 4.347, 95% CI = 3.635–5.198,P = 0.000), the efficacy of ECG(OR = 3.364, 95% CI = 2.767–4.089, P = 0.000) were better than that of patients treated with ISMN alone. CDDP combined with ISMN was superior to ISMN alone in reducing triglyceride(TG) [mean difference(MD) =-35.176, 95% CI =-37.439 to-32.912, P = 0.000], total cholesterol(TC)(MD =-24.296, 95% CI =-26.429 to-22.163, P = 0.000), the duration of angina attack(MD =-1.991, 95% CI =-2.349 to-1.633, P = 0.000), and the frequency of angina attack [standardized MD(SMD) =-2.840, 95% CI =-3.416 to-2.265, P = 0.000]. There was no increase in adverse events between CDDP combined with ISMN and ISMN alone(OR = 0.513, 95% CI = 0.421–0.626, P = 0.000).Conclusion: CDDP combined with ISMN improved treatment efficacy and was well tolerated. Therefore,this combination could be used as an alternative treatment. However, clinical and patient conditions should be considered.

A straw interlayer added to soil can effectively reduce soil salinity effects on plant growth,however,the effects of soil moisture,salt and microbial community composition on plant growth under a straw interlayer are unclear.A rhizobox study was conducted to investigate the role of straw interlayer thickness on soil moisture,salt migration,microbial community composition,as well as root growth in *** study included four treatments:Control(no straw interlayer);S3(straw interlayer of 3.0 cm);S5(straw interlayer of 5.0 cm);S7(straw interlayer of 7.0 cm).Straw interlayer treatments increased soil moisture by 8.2–11.0%after irrigation and decreased soil salt content after the bud stage in 0–40 cm *** root length,total root surface area,average root diameter,total root volume and the number of root tips of sunflower plants were higher under straw interlayer treatments than in the control,and were the highest under the S5 *** stimulated root growth was ascribed to the higher abundance of Chloroflexi and Verrucomicrobia bacteria in soil with a straw interlayer,which was increased by 55.7 and 54.7%,respectively,in the S5 *** of a straw interlayer of 5 cm thickness is a practical and environmentally feasible approach for improving sunflower root growth in saline-alkali soil.

The interfacing study of biopolymer and supramolecular chemistry enables a better understanding of fundamental biochemical processes and the creating of new high-performance biomaterials. In this review, we introduced an ＂in vivo self-assembly＂ strategy which means in situ construction of functional self-assembled superstructures in specific physiological or pathological conditions in cell, tissue or animal levels that exhibit diverse biomedical effects. By using this strategy, unexpected phenomena and insights, e.g, assembly/aggregation induced retention （AIR） effect have been demonstrated where the self-assembled nanostructures showed extraordinary enhanced accumulation and retention of therapeutics in targeted sites.

Modulating surface charge redistribution based on interface and defect engineering has been considered as a resultful means to boost electrocatalytic ***,the mechanism of synergistic regulation of heterojunction and vacancy defects remains ***,a Vs-CoP-CoS_(2)/C n-n heterojunction with sulfur vacancies is successfully constructed,which manifests superior electrocatalytic activity for oxygen evolution,as demonstrated by a low overpotential of 170 mV to reach 10 mA/cm^(2).The experimental results and density functional theory calculations testify that the outstanding OER performance of Vs-CoP-CoS_(2)/C heterojunction is owed to the synergistic effect of sulfur vacancies and built-in electric field at n-n heterogeneous interface,which accelerates the electron transfer,induces the charge redistribution,and regulates the adsorption energy of active intermediates during the *** study affords a promising means to regulate the electrocatalytic performance by the construction of heterogeneous interfaces and defects,and in-depth explores the synergistic mechanisms of n-n heterojunction and vacancies.

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering（SERS） is applied to detect the concentration of carbendzim（CBZ） in tea leaves. Au colloid is selected and used for active surfaces, and the extraction conditions are optimized in the experiment. The linearity range for the SERS intensity and the concentration of CBZ is found to be0.5 to 8 mg kgà1. The detection limit for CBZ is 0.1 mg kgà1and its recovery in tea samples is 72.3%. The detection results for CBZ using this method are compared with those of HPLC, and no obvious difference can be found. In addition, by dripping the condensed Au colloid on the tea leaves, the proposed SERS approach could be used to the in-situ determination of the half life period of CBZ on tea leaves.
